I have the desktop software "OfficeTime" which syncs up well with OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker. I am a musician and work a lot from home and need to track time and project sessions accurately and keep great records for my clients. This is a very customizable app and software that works well for my needs. I like that you can download the program to your computer and not rely on the cloud services most other companies use. I would highly recommend this for any small business that needs to track time and projects.

The free version is just Ok, but the paid version has the better options. Managing 2-3 projects at a time is quite easy.

You need to buy the pro version to get it to sync. After purchasing the pro version I realized you have to buy the desktop version to actually get it to sync.
Essentially all other time tracking apps have a sync function between iPad and iPhone. Those are much better solutions. This software is in beta and should be avoided.

The most direct and usable time tracker I have found. Exports to excel or use the desktop partner app. Super.

The pro version may be ok but an email to developer to ask about what an exported report includes went unanswered.

Deleted OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker before demo expired and now you are trying to charge my Apple account.

I've used this software in several settings now, on both Mac and PC, as a graphic designer who used it generate invoices (with a level of detail that always impressed my clients), and as a project management admin who used it to assess my department's workflow process by tracking how long each step took and seeing which steps needed streamlining. It's the perfect combination of user-friendly simplicity, and yet robust enough to track whatever details you might need without being bloated. The reporting is great and has many display options in charts and graphs, and it can even detect if your computer has been idle and gives you the option to subtract that time when you come back (like if you forgot to press "stop" while you were away from your desk). They also continually update the software and improve the features. I can't recommend this software enough if you are looking for a time tracking solution that you will be able to use comfortably for years to come! (I've been using it since 2006)

Now that it integrates with this iPhone and iPad app, it's even better! Time tracking on the go!

OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker works well - as described. It has the versatility to be able to keep track of both billed and unbilled hours, and expenses for a variety of projects and tasks. What I appreciate most is the ability to create invoices from OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker . This saves a lot of time, although sometimes I need to tweak it, mainly due to my own small errors. I agree with the other reviews regarding not calculating by the second. Perhaps the time increments can be selected? Now if I can only remember to start, stop and restart each and every time! OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker is not free if you want the version that syncs with your desktop and want to print invoices. But given the time this saves it is a worthwhile investment.

I have been using the desktop version of Office time for a good few years, now, and I have not found anything else that comes close to the usability of this application for anything near a comparable price.
As if that weren't enough, the level of personalized, caring support provided by the developer himself is unmatched. I know a great deal of care has been put in developing the iPhone /iPad version, and I am certain that as good as OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker already is, it will continue to improve and strengthen over time. Fully recommended.

Go ahead, try the free version, and then buy the full version. You won't regret the small investment, and you'll have the best time tracker available both for mobile devices and PC's.

It is exactly what I needed. We don't have a time clock at work, and we have to keep track of our own hours. I'm working on multiple projects each week, so this makes it a lot easier to keep track of them. I also like being able to see how much money to expect for each paycheck. The only thing I'm missing is a calendar view option. That would definitely bump my rating up to five stars!

They really have thought of everything. I am using OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker to track my son's driving time for a parent taught driver's ed. It enables me to sub categorize everything. I'm also able to add notes on different sessions. I can use those notes see where he needs more practice and what I need to help him with. This really is one of the best time tracking apps that I've ever used so.

I also use OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker in my profession. I am a manufacturing engineer. I utilize OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker to do time studies on different processes at my facility to see where i can help to improve productivity and so far this is the best one yet.

Running a one person consulting practice usually with 5 to 10 clients at any time, I have been looking for a well designed, easy to use, super intuitive ios time tracker. Having tried a few others in the past I sort of resigned myself to creating and customizing an excel workbook, which was not terrible until I came across this free app. It meets all the needs of my small business, and is so quick and easy.
Having used it for a couple of weeks now, I plan to take a look at the pay version of OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker to better understand those benefits.

As a contractor I always wished there was some way for me to punch in and out and track my site time. Well, here it is! This has eliminated stacks of handwritten time sheets, the mess they make in my truck and trying to remember what I did two days ago and how long it took because I didn't have time or take the time at that moment to write it down. Even if I forget, it's super easy to punch in when I do remember and change the starting time. This is one of the most helpful apps I've downloaded, and I'm using the free version.

I absolutely love this program! And the fact that it is FREE is even better! I have a small business with only a few employees and this makes it very easy for me to keep track of their hours and pay. This makes it so I don't have to write everything down and add and multiply all the hours and different pay...makes my life much easier!
It is also fabulous for baby sitters! I just start the time when they get here and then it tells me exactly how long they were here and how much to write a check for...perfect!

I have been a user of the OfficeTime desktop app for quite a while, so when I heard that an iPhone app was soon to come out I was really excited. And I was not disappointed! I started with the free app of course, just to make sure. I didn't last the entire day before I bought the full version! Well worth the time, and it's wireless syncing with the desktop app, it was a no brainer to upgrade to the full version. If you do anything that requires tracking your time, get OfficeTimeWorkTimeTracker!

This is an excellent introduction to the Officetime world and has a surprisingly good feature set for people who's needs are simple. That said, the paid version is well worth the few dollars, and the desktop versions, that sync with both iOS versions, are hands-down currently the best time tracker applications for OSX and Windows. If you need any sort of time tracking you should do yourself a favor and give this version a try, you won't regret it!

I have been using OfficeTime since 10:10 a.m. on July 16, 2008. The very first time recorded was on my Sycamore Canyon project. How do I know this? Because I opened up my OfficeTime files, asked for a Quick report on all time spent on Administration, reformatted the date to the oldest week, customized the job list to include all jobs and found my very first recorded project and task.

It took less than one minute.

In addition, OfficeTime told me what task was done, the precise time I started, the exact amount of time I spent, and provided a complete description of exactly what I did in that time.

All by creating a job name, a category (task), and starting a clock.

There is so much more to this program than just recording time, but I will only go on to say I give it my highest recommendation.

Anyone looking for an app that allows you to keep track of your hours & expenses in a simple, clean, intuitive interface - this is the right app for you. If you're doubting it, get the free version and try it out. I ended up getting it and then buying the pay version so I could sync it with the desktop version of the software as well (which I was already using prior to this coming out). Perfect!
