You cannot Buy more than one item with Apple Pay OfficeDepot separates items that come from different warehouses and charges different amounts than OfficeDepot shows so the second charge is not approved by Apple Pay and the second item is canceled. They need to charge one charge for the total order not break it up into separate charges. I generally consider OfficeDepot to be non-functional for placing an order with Office Depot especially with Apple Pay. Customer service really doesn’t know what they’re doing they don’t understand how Apple Pay works. Just place a separate order for each item then you won’t have a problem you have to pay more for shipping that way though but that’s just the way they do it you’re kind of screwed by office Depot. They charge you multiple times for shipping over and over again because they won’t allow you to place one order for more than one thing. I will avoid doing business with Office Depot OfficeMax because of the behavior of OfficeDepot.

Within OfficeDepot , I have toggled off the three notifications settings to indicate that I do NOT want notifications for special offers, nor do I want personalized alerts of any kind. Lo and behold, OfficeDepot is still sending me push notifications about sales and discount offers every week. This despite the settings being toggled off.

Additionally, I placed an online order two months ago which later indicated the order was ready for store pick up. I picked up the order the very next day. Two months later, OfficeDepot is still showing me a red notification circle with the number 1 inside it as if I have not picked up my order. I have opened the notification tray, I have looked at it forwards, backwards, sideways, I’ve clicked it fifty times. STILL the red notification circle is showing as if I never picked up the order. Atrocious and frustrating!

You will lose me as a customer simply because of frustration. Fix your app and do better programming so your app operates the way it is supposed to.

“Price Change Making It Right! “ I went to purchase an HP printer that was advertised on line for $40 less than normal price. However when I went to purchase the printer the price changed on the web site. Evidently prices are updated on eastern time I found out. I am from Alaska and was in Hawaii on vacation which is 5 hours earlier than eastern time zone.

I went to the Office Max web chat room and complained. The customer service agent put me on a brief chat hold and came back and told me they would honor the price. I then received a confirmation number and was told to contact the sales department by phone the following day which I did.

I ordered the printer and was told it would be delivered in two business days which I thought was great. My daughter was in San Jose and she just had her birthday and it was received on 1 day!

A win win for all and a happy birthday girl.

App requires devices to be held vertically only. This may work for a cell phone, but it is unnecessarily complicated when you’re utilizing your iPad or laptop. People intuitively want to be able to actually see the complete inventory and related product and pricing information in a horizontal format. Currently, OfficeDepot is fragmented and inefficient re: number of steps, elapsed time, comparison features for products, and product information. Need to update OfficeDepot so that you can actually view entire screen and individual account items in shopping cart and in wish lists. Tried to access my account on the website and OfficeDepot , but both website and app froze and did not open.

Trying to order an item for my son in college. If I put his name in the shipping address, his name replaces my name in the profile for my account and in the billing address. I had to do it at least a couple of times to correct my name in he profile after I placed the order. My son’s name still appears on the billing address of the order which is incorrect. The payment appears to have gone through though?! It also still shows my son’s initials on the upper left corner of the screen even though I corrected my name in my profile?! One more, it took the phone number I had for my son with the shipping address and added it to my profile. At least this time, it did not replace may profile phone number.

Bottom line, OfficeDepot needs serious debugging or it may simply not worth the hassle using it.

I tried to give Office Max another chance on the rewards account app and I have downloaded/re-downloaded OfficeDepot over 6 times already just trying to use my account and it NEVER lets me login. It let me create the account the very first time then logged me out and my account ceases to exist again, never letting me login again.
There’s always an error when I request a new password and when I try to request my login (thinking that’ll work) it says my email doesn’t exist. Then OfficeDepot takes me to create an account and I can’t because my phone number is linked to an account.....😑, one of which doesn’t exist for app purposes apparently? This is exactly why I have gotten rid of my “rewards” account before because I never actually get to use my “rewards”. So I’ll be deleting OfficeDepot , again.

I think that Office Max has very competitive pricing with completion, however the web site sometimes has some technical problems.
I have had some issues in using discounts or Max credits that could not be applied when checking out on line. Most of my shopping is in the evening and you can’t call or chat on line with someone with Office Max. I also have completed surveys and no one calls me back. Because of this two items I only gave 4 stars.
Office Max/Depot does price matching with other retail or on line stores but not COSTCO Or Sam’s Club. stores for same item

The application worked well until the checkout phase. There the application kept showing the wrong store for pickup. I tried to change the store to my preferred store, but even after going through the change process the store shown was incorrect. I cancelled the checkout there rather than risk the items going to the wrong store. Nice application but this is a very bad bug that needs to be fixed. If the checkout process doesn’t work properly it makes the rest of the process, even if this process works well, a waste of time.

I’ve been a longtime Office Depot customer. I bought my HP OfficeJet Pro 8610 printer when they first came out from the Conway, SC location. It’s been a great printer and has served all my needs from printing plans for my woodworking projects to family portraits to hang on the wall. Sadly though it has printed it’s last page and no longer works. I would love to be able to replace it with the new HP OfficeJet Pro 8035e, but being a disabled veteran I’m afraid it’s not in the budget at this time.

I wanted to buy some office furniture for my son and daughter-in-law at their local store and couldn’t even log in with my account. Had to use the website to make the purchase. I subscribe to a VPN service but it doesn’t affect my other store apps like Staples. Someone needs to do better troubleshooting on OfficeDepot for account logins...others have posted about this same issue but we shouldn’t need a personal call back to access our store/rewards accounts via an app, have never had to do that for any of my other store apps.
I got home and switched to wi-fi and was able to log in. I’ll have to see if it works on cellular tomorrow.

2 stars for being able to at least see my points, but I rarely use OfficeDepot because it has issues that are too much of a hassle to deal with.

I decided to try OfficeDepot again, so I placed items in my cart and needed to delete one item...but now I can’t find anything that will allow me to delete it. So it’s stuck in my cart and I can’t place my order until I remove it. I tried to contact customer support through OfficeDepot , but after pressing “send email”, it was 5 minutes later, and I realized OfficeDepot locked up and I had to force close my phone. So as expected, I’ll have to go online to place the order...what’s the sense in having an app that simply doesn’t work properly.

The only thing I dislike is that with one of the most recent updates they took away the running tally the customer had until having the opportunity to use their Reward points. I very much enjoyed and appreciated the ability to see how much I had pending so that I knew where I stood before they were available. Now, if I want to know, I have to get out a calculator and manually add it up. It’s not that this is difficult (obviously) but it’s now more of an inconvenience.

There is no way to delete items from my cart in OfficeDepot . I am using an iPhone XR. I’ve contacted customer service several times to no avail. The quantity section only goes from 1-10+. There is no 0. There isn’t any other way to delete items in my cart. I have deleted OfficeDepot several times, but once I sign back into OfficeDepot , the items reappear in my cart. I would like to take advantage of in-app specials, but can’t since unwanted items are in my cart.

First, just know that this is a 5 Star App! My critique is minimal and is only related to OfficeDepot ’s glitch behavior when I use too many filters on the product search.

Most importantly though—yesterday’s app update created an issue where OfficeDepot won’t load or open. It’s stuck on the load screen with the Office Depot logo. I’ve deleted it and reinstalled OfficeDepot ... still a no-go. Hopefully it’s a temporary issue.

I had to use the bathroom while shopping there. It was terribly disgusting. The ladies' bathroom had wasted in the little tin container in each stall. When you open the door the sink is awful, and I was wearing a mask. I went to each stall trying to find a stall that was not filthy. The toilets were dirty the floor was nasty. I couldn't wait to get out and wash my hands and sanitize my hands. I went up front to tell the sales clerk when I check out what I encounter in the lady's bathroom. I have never seen a bathroom in such awful condition and smelly. I don't think that store is a healthy place to shop. During the coronavirus pandemic, this place needs to under cleaning is mandatory; if not close the store.

After some ups & downs, Office Depot - Sylmar, is on point!! I regularly submit copy orders online and my most recent one had many details. Victoria went through everything & took the time to call me with questions. My order was ready early & carefully packed in a big box. Manager Mayra is a great asset to this store, as well. She is a problem solver & always willing to promote customer service. Thank you!!

OMG I can get my Apple card set up an Apple Pay 11 forever my problem is not selling Apple Pay up I need help setting Apple Pay up if we can get that card in an activated and working I will talk to the Greek goddess at surf beach and make sure she does a kind blessing for you soEverybody can use a blessing from a goddess but first today’s happy trivia question what do you call a cow with no legs?That’s right ground beef

Version 9.26.1 update has fixed the frozen app so I can once again give Office Depot 5 stars. OfficeDepot has been a lifesaver especially during the pandemic closures. I’m very impressed at the quick developer response to the last update bug. It’s really nice to have a developer that cares about their app and their customers. Thanks

I use the Office Depot app frequently. I felt OfficeDepot update was a nice refresher to what I considered an already easy to use app. New, clean cut and different! I never have any problems logging in, navigating, etc. Two things I really love are the new wallet features and easy ability to add coupons to my Apple wallet, as well as the text message support option for when I have a question. Thanks Office Depot!

I can’t get a reset of my password! I put in the correct email it won’t accept it. Then I tried to register tells me it’s already used (Which is me!)
Totally ridiculous how can I make copies for myself when your app will not let me to reset my password!
Please fix it or I will not be able to use it!

It’s slow, and crashes sometimes but it gets the job done. I’ve noticed some coupons like “5% back in rewards” are only available on the desktop site and not OfficeDepot . Some content is missing in OfficeDepot . In the end it gets the job done and makes couponing and deal hunting easy to do in store.

Absolutely Luv the rewards, but I too have had problems with OfficeDepot ,but am willing to give another try. Problems ranging from coupons not working and coupon terms being too confusing,to only half of my order being placed?, I can’t recall all the other problems with app but over time there was definitely an assortment, that’s why I stopped shopping with them online.

The Office Depot app used to be my favorite. Truly. I often used the “in-store mode” to check prices of items while shopping. When I scan items now, I get the online price which is often VERY different. It also freezes and shows an inaccurate rewards total on my home screen. I would do just about anything to get my old app back. I used to shop in the store several times a week. Because of the changes in OfficeDepot , I haven’t bought anything now in a couple of weeks. It really is ruining my in-store experience.

Print service at this store today was a. The print service staff did not know how to use the folding machine & showed no since of urgency in completing the requested service. I was told the job would be ready later in the day. I returned later this evening after receiving a text indicating the job was completed. When I picked up the job it had still not been folded as initially requested. Fortunately, Aaron took over and promptly completed the job. He was very helpful and apologetic for the unsatisfactory service I received today.

Never had an app that I couldn’t log into or even get set up. Signed up for an account in store, can’t log in, can’t search user name, can’t use member number to find anything. Have to call, which I really don’t want to do to use an app. I got the email to confirm my account which required me to set up an online account...which it won’t let me do. I try to search my name and get nothing, I try to set up an account with the info I gave the store and it won’t let Mexican

I’ll reserve the right o modify my review later but for now it’s useless to me, so only one star.

1) I tried unsubscribing from your pesky emails and that link was broken. The best I could do was reduce the volume of your emails.
2) I had two items in my ‘cart’ and found no way to delete one of them. I got the chance to change from one to as many as I like but not zero. ‘Lil help?
3) I really don’t care for apps that track what I looked at then bombard me with that same product like a sleazy salesman or those d****d telephone solicitation robots. That kind of slippery marketing gets stale real fast.
Other than that...

The new design looks much better, and it has good features, I don’t need to type on the search bar because it detects images and voice recognition to search what I’m looking for.. easy to use.

I’m visually impaired and have the text set bigger in my iPhone. Most apps either accommodate it fine and use those settings OR ignore those settings. OfficeDepot however shows the bigger print on the front screen when I enter OfficeDepot to where the letters only show the top half of the letters. The rewards page has the usual tiny print. Not sure they remembered to do 507 compliance testing. I give a star for being able to access the reward carts and member card in app.
