My Day - Countdown Calendar Reviews

I’ve been using MyDay for a couple of years and I loved that you could choose the perfect background for every event but now it just takes for ever to load and when it does load it just says “photo library” and I can’t pick any of the backgrounds that MyDay provides because they wont show up and by reading the other reviews I can tell I’m not the only one with this problem. So please FIX this because this used to be one of my FAVORITE apps and I don’t know what happened. If not I would be giving this 5 stars because it’s an amazing app but with this major problem I’m only giving it 1 star.

I’ve had My Day for years but recently, the galleries won’t load. That was one of the biggest appeals of MyDay, being able to choose backgrounds that match the event. I’ve done every update that it’s had available and stay up to date with iOS updates, as well. I’m hesitant to delete because I really do like the ease of use but it’s just frustrating to not have backgrounds of my choosing and, instead, having the same boring yellow/blue/orange background for every event.

It is a great app and now that I got everything set up I love it, however it was difficult to use when I first got it and with little instruction it took 10-15 minutes to properly figure out how to change the month but other than that it’s now something I use frequently

I been looking for a birthday countdown but I couldn’t find one but I finally found one thanks to the people who made MyDay like literally I don’t have no complaints and I like how it lets me choose the background...I’m giving MyDay 5 stars I wish I could give them more I would if I could...thanks again👍I’m speechless

I love the reminders but it is very hard to put a new one in. It erases the present one and you have trouble getting it back in. I wish that you could fix it so that it would be easier to use. I just put a birthday in and it erased Halloween. Please make it better. And I did touch the pencil for a new entry.

I used to LOVE MyDay at first. However the recent update did more harm than good. Since the update the countdown is off now matter how often you fix it it changes the days. Whenever you attempt to change the background it just stalls. Actually it constantly freezes making it unusable no matter what you do. This once fun app is now taking up space and making me upset since it’s now virtually useless. I’d give zero starts if I could. Whatever “update” they did needs to be reversed.

As many other reviews have said, the updates have left MyDay with lots of issues with time. Mine is always off, no matter how many times I edit an event.

The biggest issue I have with MyDay , however, lies within the pre-uploaded holidays that come on MyDay . “Black Friday,” which is not actually a holiday, is uploaded, but then Veteran’s Day, an actual holiday, and one we have to celebrate those who served our country, is not there. I think that is pretty messed up, honestly.

The galleries are no longer loading and this was one feature I loved about MyDay. Looks like an update is needed. Last update was 2 years ago. Hope all is well with developer 🙏🏽

I would give MyDay a five star truely when it work I bragged and showed all my peers how handy and awesome it was. I have a very big family tons of relatives and peers. I also use it for anniversaries. Yeah recently MyDay will not load the wallpaper gallery or holidays. It’s been like this for March. I miss MyDay working the way it was meant to be I really don’t want to uninstall and redo all makes dates please developer fix these issues.

I love I can put my own background, using this as a final hourly countdown to when we leave for our Disney trip. Problem is when I set the time we were leaving it was off by 7 hours! Should have been 46 hours till we leave and it was showing 53.....had to go in and change the time we are leaving so it will show the correct hours left. That’s really screwy.

As others have noted, there are time zone issues. I was using “countdown” app- but then that one had pixilation issues with pictures that you uploaded. Other reviews have feedback from the developer that it’s a know issue and they working on it. This was a year ago. Have they stopped supporting their app? Then pull it! Very frustrating. I guess I’m going in and messing with the date since it’s not showing up correctly.

.... you can not change the month or year so i don’t like that but I do like how you can the backgrounds So no complaints about that-but I do love how it tells you how menu days until a holiday

I've had great time with app, and whenever asks me, how did you know when (fill in event) that is always? I always show them MyDay!

As a developer I know it is one of the worst user experience scrolling through all the years if you have to set a bday who was born in 1980. The most irritating part is, you have to scroll through all the months in a year and then it goes to previous year. You don't have the option to choose the year or date.

Hi um... this is a wonderful app but n the pictures above were it shows like the wallpapers and stuff, how do get those wallpapers or like the different images for Christmas, etc.

I’ve used MyDay for many years and for some reason, I can’t use backgrounds anymore. I want this to be fixed so I can customize the backgrounds for different occasions so they can all be unique.

Until then 1/5 stars b/c in the past I was able to easily change to different backgrounds

It’s nice to be able to change the picture but there is no place to adjust the time zone. On the main screen, the countdown is off by 5 hours, but in the small list on the left it’s correct. It’s not really useful to me if it’s not accurate for my time zone, so I deleted it.

MyDay worked great when I first got it. Over the years however it hasn’t shown any improvement whatsoever.

The way you’re supposed to set a date is bothersome and takes forever. Galleries don’t load. The frames don’t even look pretty.

I wish I could get my money back.

I use it for exam count down. The only downside of MyDay is that I cannot change the font and size

I’ve been using MyDay for 2 years already and it’s been great! I recommend everyone to download MyDay it’s free! It has good quality!
