I wish you had a phone number to use. I hate this email crap because I never hear from anyone. Anyway, I purchased a kobo libra 2, two weeks ago and this morning it frozen. Won't do anything. It is on but won't go to any of the tabs or books. So again, I am going to submit my issues hoping that someone would help me. My phone number is 970-378-8630, feel free to contact me should you have more questions as I do not usually check my email often.

I’d love to be able to talk with a human being, as I have a few questions. I bought a kobo vox many years ago and never figured out how to actually use it 😢 I would really love putting it to use and get support with setting it up. I know many tech gadgets become obsolete after awhile, so I am wondering if I can even use it still. Looks brand spanking new, so I will be heartbroken if I have to add it to the landfill. Is there a phone number in which I can speak with a person? I reside in Canada. Thank you ☺️

You have credit card processing problem. You say card refused. Issuing bank says no contact about card today. Reply by valid email address. Send consumer service telephone number.

At 7:42 AN CST, I got an email with discounts on books in my wishlist. Specifically “Storm of War” by Anthony Riches. I was going out the door at that time so at 7:20 CST tonite, I ordered the book listed at $1.99. It came up $15.99. Numerous attempts. Same result. If you have a cutoff in less than 24 hours say so. I’d like the book at the sale price. Please advise.

I d have a charge for a Kobo VIP Membership and I did not Apply or ask for it. Please correct this, as I had to pay my Visa in order not to have extra charges for late payments.

This morning I tried to order a book valued at $3.99 Cdn. A message appeared saying my credit card has passed expiry date and to please update credit card info. Fine. But we have roughly $130 in gift credits on our account as of today. Why wasn’t the order processed regardless of cc expiration. If I didn’t update that info , what happens to the $$ Kobo is holding? There was no indication of an alternative to complete the order if the card wasn’t updated. Beware accumulating gift credits based on my experience.

September 18 ordered a Kobo eBook to find out, "Sorry, this book is not available in your area", (Sioux Falls, SD), but as it turns out, my bank account was charged for the purchase irrespective. In the circumstance, ordered/downloaded the book from Barnes & Noble, - (no issues!), and won't be purchasing any more eBooks from Rakuten Kobo. My bank has been advised of the sloppy fraud and will be crediting my account for the charge. This isn't the first such issue with Kobo but it's the last. I forgave the first event thinking the company was Chinese or some other oriental, but surprise, it's Canadian, just across the border from my US location. And good luck trying to contact the company, - apparently no telephones in Toronto.

I've tried to download my kobo books to my e-reader, but it just won't work anymore. I tried to change my e-mail address and password but that doesn't work either. It keeps saying that I already have an account with the kobo book store. I was wondering if you could help me fix that problem. I've saved a lot of books that I would love to download. I'm looking to buy another e-reader and would like to download those new books to that new e-reader. I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you, Nicole

not great, to be honest

Not terrible, but not great either. - takes a good number of taps and navigating to make notes or to find then - options to change fonts, line spacing and margins is limited (unlike on my h2o, where there are a lot of options) - background color choice is very limited, and text color cannot be changed - bugy: i get notified that i have opened my book on another device when i know i have not. another time my book got marked as read half way through without me intending to do it. and a couple of suggestions: - how about a setting that would allow the reader to keep page numbers regardless of font size. say a particular book is 200 pages in print. i would like the option to have those pages marked on my e reader as well. this 100% system of marking progress is really clumsy. - i would also like the option to read while holding my device in a way that my finger rests on the screen without highlights or notes or other helpful things popping up. there could be a way to activate and deactivate it easily - say by long pressing in one corner of the screen, and while activated, the device would only react to a gesture to turn the page, which would be elaborate enough so it would not be activated by accident... - changing font size would be nicer using buttons to incrementally increase/decrease. the current slider is clumsy and not as effective. doubt this will be read or considered by a human, but on an off chance.. good luck!

A Class Action Lawsuit Waiting To Happen

There are three major E-book readers and services in English - Kindle, Nook, and Kobo. Kobo is my choice of the three and I've used it for a number years now and have LOTS of experience with it. The biggest problem Kobo is there are many, many, many duplicate entries in its book database, where the exact same edition of the same book is listed two or even more times, frequently with different prices. What if you happen to buy a more expensive instance of a particular book? Well, unless you catch it and demand the difference in price be returned to you, Kobo will happily pocket your extra money. For years and years they have let this go on and on and take no discernible action against this fraudulent practice even though they could and should easily fix the problem quickly. Its like Kobo is just so negligent they won't bother to fix their issues until forced to by a lawsuit. It's a class action lawsuit just waiting to happen.

App glitches

If you have a lot of annotations the boom will take forever to load. On top of that all my annotations are some how filed under the “contents” section of my book and not the actual chapters. It doesn’t track where I am in my book in the contents tab. I’m about four chapters in and the red check continues to show that I am on the first page. I also don’t like how true page numbers aren’t available. It only tells you what page your on within the chapter. Not what page your on within the whole book. Page numbers are very important how am I suppose properly quote the book if I don’t know the page number? This app doesn’t have a dictionary built in It seems like a pretty useful feature to have especially for an ebook app. In my opinion you’re probably better off using Apple Books. Small glitches are fine but when you have several of them it gets annoying and Apple Books offers more features anyway.
