Review feature not the best

When user tries to review the last order, there is this question "was the delivery made in time?" (loose translation from Portuguese). My question is, how am I supposed to track that? Shouldn't iFood track this on my behalf? I use iFood the following day or so, how am I supposed to remember this...?

Another candidate for improvement is the feature that alerts user about the mismatch between delivery point and user location. The alert should be displayed when the user is about to proceed to checkout, not when she is picking the items. The way it is implemented now, it is disruptive and useless, because the user is forced to dismiss it to continue selecting the items and later on, by the time she is proceeding to checkout and entering the credit card pin, most likely the address issue will have been forgotten.

Poor working conditions for its workers

The COVID-19 pandemic has only highlighted what was evident - that this app and this type of services have no consideration for the safety and well-being of its workers. Delivery workers, other than having little income stability, are forced to face dangerous and unhealthy conditions (I.e., excessive physical strain under any weather, exposing themselves to traffic), receive little no assistance in case of an accident or injury, and have furthermore lacked in support or protection against the risks of contracting the coronavirus during their function.

During this crisis, please consider finding alternative means to order — especially in-house delivery services offered by restaurants themselves.

Banned for nothing

I barely used iFood but I guess I’m not doing it ever again. I was just trying to order food when all of a sudden it kept saying there was a problem with all my payment methods. Because I liked iFood and wanted to order food I made a help request through iFood chat and literally instantly got a reply saying I was banned for violating their terms. As much as I’d like to know what I could’ve possibly done wrong they never actually tell me, just inform me again and again I violated the terms. I doubt I did anything possibly wrong and they are completely unhelpful in helping me fix it or tell me why. No explanations, jus a ban.

Worst app

First off me and my wife can’t place an order. When we put in our cot we can not put up a document. I’m not exactly sure why neither one of us can place an order on two different phones. It’s the only app that does not work at all. Also why don’t you put iFood in English. Millions of travelers come here every year like us and we would like to be able to read and be able for iFood to work out. Please get it to work.

Easy to use and presents many options

I understand that this app needs to do more than just intermediate the cliente and the restaurants, need to support those restaurantes to elaborate more the food and to offer more menu options, in my region offers a lot pizzas but other options are very poor.

A handy application for ordering food on Brasilia

There is a large selection of restaurants that are affiliated with this app. You have the option of paying through the application, or paying upon delivery. My only complaint with the application is the search function. The search function often does not turn up restaurants that are relevant. For example, when I tried to search for "comida indiana", a restaurant that I know is listed on this app didn't appear.

Great until you have delivery issues

this app is great until you need to sort out delivery issues. Then it is a pain. They make it impossible to reach the restaurant directly to have a simple conversation and clarify food or delivery issues. And if your delivery has missing items, you don’t get your money back: they give you a #%*$ this app coupon valid for only 10 days… no money back!!

Food arrives 2.5 hours after you order

The deliver guys lie, make multiple deliveries, and this app does nothing. They don’t even refund the delivery fee. The food arrives 2.5 hours after you order it and the only response they have is “well you got the food so we can’t do anything”. It’s happened to me now 4 times in the last 2 weeks and dinner arrives after 10pm. I won’t be using them anymore.

I’m having problems with iFood plus

I love iFood, I’ve had a few minor problems with the restaurants within but they were always solved so quickly and easily.
The issue here is my subscription with this app Plus. This whole week, despite contacting different customer assistances, I’m not being able to connect my this app plus to my normal account and that for I’m paying twice for delivery! Please IT guys if you could look into that problem in the next version...

Worst User Experience after becoming market leader

After becoming market leader its impossible to add cupons to any order, you can only add to certain places, you can no longer contact the restaurant directly only with iFood chat, with most restaurants dont even respond, adding and removing ingredients on orders is only possible on the observation part of the order, other apps offer the option to remove and add ingredients directly in every item.
I only use iFood when the restaurant I want to order is unavailable in any other app.

Tip

I don’t see why I can’t include the tip for the delivery person in the same credit card charge when I pay for the food. In order to tip, one has to re enter a credit card number, billing info, which is very inconvenient and unfair to the customer and the delivery person. Other than that it seems alright.

This application is very effective. It makes your life easier because if you don’t want to cook but you are starving with a few minutes you can order your food. They have many options with different prices so you can easily find the perfect food for you.

Exploring drivers in Brazil

This company explores the delivery people, giving them almost nothing for a dangerous work during this pandemic. It’s an absurd that a company so rich is treating people like that. I will keep using other apps until they address this issue.

Very good but

iFood keeps sending me funny notifications that are not very relevant like “Friday asks for this app. Open iFood and order something”. Even though I set only some type of notifications to be emitted in iFood settings, I still receive that kind of message.

Problematic with payments

Credit cards that were previously accepted are declined. Apple pay that used to work doesn’t work anymore. More than 15 times In the last month I tried to place an order and it was impossible as all my credit cards and apple pay were rejected, my spouse has the same issue. Very frustrating. iFood and the service is good apart from that.

No reimbursement after wrong order

It’s been more than 80 days that they delivered my order missing a few items, they said they would give my money back and until now nothing has happened. I try to get in touch by iFood to make me complaint but after trying A LOT they are now simply ignoring me without even an answer. Terrible service and terrible way to treat consumers.. wouldn’t recommend for any of you

It’s so practical to use and makes ordering food super easy. The coupons are life saving! I wish there was an area to message the restaurant and not just the phone number as way of contact.

Problem with third-party keyboards

I've been having problems with my standard keyboard (SwiftKey) not being an option on iFood, which seems weird, and only default keyboards are available, which don't have my personal prediction words and shortcuts. I don't see a reason why this should be, but would like a fix. iFood doesn't have a "report app problem" section, so, needed to do it here.

Support is absolutely awful

iFood is technically sound and works well with no noticeable bugs. The service also works most of the time. However, pray that you have no issues, because support is absolutely awful. It is done through an in-app chat, and in case you need it, you will be left hungry as no one will respond in a really long time; most likely they’ll reply next day with a refund.

Missing navigation by swipe

Unfortunately the application has lost usability points because of the navigation between views. In the previous version it was possible to go back using swipe, in this version I got stuck several times trying to go back to the previous screen using swipe. Swipe works only on some screens, this is extremely annoying.

Get back to you as soon as possible

They scrapped all phone contact. Now, when they mess up (which inevitably happens) you are left hungry and totally in the dark. With luck you get some kind of contact the next day. Next time I will pull the plug when they are more one minute late or as soon as the status changes to delivered when it is not. But next time will only happen after I get tired of Uber eats and other alternatives. C ya later, much later.

One of the few apps I’ve found that works with Apple Pay, which is a lifesaver, as it’s difficult to get anything to take a US payment source.

iFood is awesome but the suppliers are hit or miss. They either show up with warm food within 30 minutes or with cold food after an hour. I call it the price of living in Brazil.

Good local source for food delivery but it lacks of options, plus some bugs on app. Some restaurants has no contact info, bought my meal and never received but my card was charged; had no choice.

Good Enough for Purchase - BAD to complain

Since its basically the only option to buy food they follow their proposal, but several companies have different or invalid phone to call and confirm orders and there’s no way to return/be paid back in wrong deliveries. I was using PedidoJa (or PedidosYa) but they bought that company.

Have lots to learn. Should use Uber as a reference.
