ERA Parenting App Reviews

The website has great content and is very insightful. I read a lot of articles and have been subscribed to their monthly newsletter. But ERAParentingApp is very inaccessible with voiceover. I am a blind mom and I use voice over to read the content on my phone. I reached out to their customer support team. They said they are working on making ERAParentingApp accessible which is awesome. But it still wouldn’t allow me to take the courses without going to the inaccessible app. And I couldn’t sign up for their book clubs since ERAParentingApp is really inaccessible. I would love to pay for ERAParentingApp but there’s no point if it’s not accessible to voice over. I really hope they would make ERAParentingApp accessible. I am a member of a big group of blind parents and would love to recommend ERAParentingApp for them. I read most of the reviews and I found out that I was not the only blind parent who wrote about this issue. It has been two years since that parent wrote a review and they still have not done anything. I just wanted to bring this up as a valid concern. Thank you.

I have been using ERAParentingApp for a few years now and I honestly love it so much. It has not only been useful and informative but it has also really helped me when I start to over think and become obsessive or overwhelmed about a parenting subject. I use it to just check in and sort through some of the things that I’m struggling with. It helps me declutter my thoughts and adjust the volume on the noise that hearing all sorts of different parenting advice can cause. I very much recommend ERAParentingApp, especially for anyone who has trouble closing down the open tabs in their brain.

Over the years I have had many bumps in parenting. I have turned to many books and they have all helped, but inevitably we return to our normalcy. Parent lab has helped me to keep the fire burning. I don’t mean to say that it is a quick fix, we are looking for lasting transformation which needs continuous investment of time and energy and parent lab helps me stay course. I can finally see some self belief building and I am starting to believe in a more loving picture of me. Thanks parent lab. Thanks to all the wonderful employees (Thank you Margaret!!!) and consultants.

I got ERAParentingApp at the right time in my life. I have 3 kids ages 5 and under, I was tired and stressed, and losing my patience on a regular basis. I knew that wasn’t fair, and not the kind of parent I wanted to be. After my first day with ERAParentingApp, it helped things to just “click” for me. I had NO tantrums, NO timeouts, and I didn’t raise my voice once for almost 7 days. As parents we will always make mistakes, but ERAParentingApp made me feel understood, supported, and help me connect with my tiny little people that I love more than anything! I just want to say Thank You!

I already know a lot about parenting but I still find ERAParentingApp really helpful. The content is so well researched and well put together. I am recommending ERAParentingApp to every parent I know. I wish my parents had ERAParentingApp. It would have made their lives so much easier, and saved me from a lot of unnecessary misery :-)

You have great content in your app! I have already learned a lot. However, I find it frustrating that I have to wait before I can listen to the next podcast. I’m a busy parent & don’t have a lot of free time on my hands. I’d prefer to be able to listen to as much as I can when I have the opportunity to listen. I would also appreciate activities for younger children that aren’t quite able to communicate or hold a conversation yet.

I enjoyed hearing the perspective of experts and other parents on Hello Joey’s podcasts. The exercises for follow-up helped me think through new ways to approach my most frequent challenges as a parent. Podcasts are well-produced, tidy and delivered with professionalism - makes it easy, calming and rewarding to take a break from everything to listen to their sound advice.

ERAParentingApp is well-designed and has lots of activities that make it both fun and a learning experience. Expert guests speak on the show, and the hosts highlight the most important points in a casual, friendly way, throwing in some jokes here and there. Definitely worth the download!

I love ERAParentingApp. It has so much good information backed up by experts and activities to apply what you're learning in the real world - your own family. I've learned so much and becoming a better parent for it. Thank you!

I have 3 kids, 2 of whom are extremely strong willed. I was excited to download ERAParentingApp and start using it, but as a blind person using VoiceOver to navigate the screen, I found it to be inaccessible from the word go. It asked me how I feel about parenting after clicking on “Let’s Go” and none of the options were visible to me, meaning that VoiceOver did not read them to me. Very disappointed, and I hope that it’s fixed soon. In the meantime, I’ll be looking for another app that is accessible.

Useful app for parents, and those whom deal with kids on a regular basis. Lots of features to support parents, including Q&A sessions.

The fact this parenting app has a whole section on teaching our children that are younger than 6 that gender is not the same as their biological sex is so absurd and scary to me. I truly worry about why people are putting these stressors on children and why this has become such a trend in our society. It’s harmful and scary. Also there’s so much talk about empathy but zero actual tools. What???

Wow. I was so excited to use ERAParentingApp until I found out how much it is. SMH. Another cost for parents. If you really want to help parents- lower the cost or better yet, offer free and paid bits of information. The monthly and annual cost is excessive. Not buying it. Going to go find the same information somewhere else.

ERAParentingApp has helped me with my relationship with my 2.5 year old! I have nothing but good things to say about it ☺️

I just installed ERAParentingApp and it told me I had downloaded it before when I have not. It will not allow me to access any of the content saying I have completed the available content. I don’t see how this is possible since I have not used ERAParentingApp before. Now I can’t even try ERAParentingApp to see if it is indeed helpful or not.

Great app but with the rise in Autism you would think ERAParentingApp would have at least a little section for parents who have children on the spectrum.

You’re born the gender you are and there is no need for discussion this is controversial to be suggesting my kid needs to try to understand gender. You are born male or female. Take it or leave it. There is no need to encourage one or the other it is what it is. Absurd

I downloaded ERAParentingApp but I can’t across and start the first kit? What’s happening?!

The developer only wants to lighten your wallet, not help parents and children. The price is outrageous.

I got ERAParentingApp to try to help me understand my child’s development as he grows. When I opened it saw a kit about gender- I was appalled. We shouldn’t be raising our kids to explore their gender to see if it’s “right for them”, that’s such crap! A child is born male or female whether society likes it or not. And teaching your kid that who they were born to be isn’t good enough or is up for the whim of an impressionable immature child to “decide”, is ludicrous. Children need the security that God created them as they are for a good purpose. That they’re designed beautifully inside and out. It’s destroying the security and purpose in children by deceiving them to believe their gender is a choice. I deleted ERAParentingApp immediately.

This is one of the best apps i have found till now. Appreciated your hard work.
