Highly unethical company with jerk support agents. Avoid at all costs. Overbilled me, admitted their mistake on the phone, but maintained that I was to pay a $150 “website renewal fee” despite their own mistake and their customer records of me making the appropriate changes. In a GoDaddy manager’s words (his name was “Calvin L.” But he went by “Cal”) “Yes, I can see you made the change here. But you didn’t realize that sometimes you have to call to make sure these changes go through, even if it says it did online. You can review our terms, we stand by the $150 fee regardless of who is at fault.” In other words — despite their recognition that any problem was their fault, they’re charging $150 for a website renewal just because they can. Highly unethical. Do not trust them. Other support agents hung up on me when I requested to speak to a manager, were extremely rude, etc. Their support agents are all interested in upselling - not actual support. AVOID!

GoDaddyBookkeeping was great a few years ago but it has gotten progressively more glitchy over the last 2 years to the point where it barely functions at all and there are no updates. Seems like the 2 factor authentication update broke the whole system.
It no longer connects to my accounts & won’t send authorization codes to reconnect. Sometimes it won’t let me log in at all and puts me in an authentication loop. Sometimes it tells me I don’t even have an account! Basically it has become useless and I’m searching for an alternative. For over $100/yr I expect more..or at least SOMETHING.

GoDaddyBookkeeping doesn't add much benefit, but GoDaddy bookkeeping is great for automatically importing data from all your accounts, including e-commerce like Etsy and PayPal. For $10/month it's a much better value than the other bookkeeping programs. It also imports the data with no complications. Just be sure to read the help section so you don't accidentally count any income or expenses twice when it's just transferring within your multiple accounts.

I’ve been using this happily for about three years. About a month ago it would no longer update my accounts. It just keeps giving me an error message when I try to fix it. I’ve reinstalled GoDaddyBookkeeping , tried on the web, sent emails to customer support, all to no avail. So now it’s useless. I am looking for another bookkeeping app.
Update. No customer support. Still wont update my credit card account, which is where my business makes 99% of its purchases. It will allow me to re-add the account, so why won’t it refresh it? Terrible now!

I’ve been using Go Daddy bookkeeping for many years now since it was Outright. I adore the web version. It makes bookkeeping super simple, especially needed for a micro business like my own.

However GoDaddyBookkeeping needs serious work! When loading information GoDaddyBookkeeping hangs for long periods of time before showing the data, if it shows it at all.

I pretty much only use GoDaddyBookkeeping now to see a basic snapshot of the dashboard since it’s hard to get any additional usable information out of GoDaddyBookkeeping .

After less than a month, my accounts will no longer update. When I try to update my bank login information, it says it’s not correct. It’s 100% correct. Interestingly, it will still update my credit card transactions which are connected to the same bank & same bank accounts that won’t update. (Huh?) Even before stopping the account updates, it was clunky & slow to update information, even when pushed.

Older version of GoDaddyBookkeeping was much better, This version has a nice GUI, but lack the ability to edit your hours once it is entered, you can’t go back and make changes. doesn’t seem to recall your vendors and per hour bill rate as it did previous version. When entering the work hours for the current day you have to scroll the date up or down to get register the day..

GoDaddyBookkeeping is definetly a must have if you are already using the web version. You can upload pictures and attachments easier on GoDaddyBookkeeping and it’s easy to use and navigate.

I signed up for this service and downloaded GoDaddyBookkeeping last year, and it had been great. I have a small business and this has been just right. Not too complicated. It had made accounting a snap.

Comparing GoDaddyBookkeeping to QuickBooks it needs more work. I wish I could see the estimate tax and other features that QuickBooks offer. I wish I could auto categorize income and expenses on the phone app.

The website version is amazing! Easy to use.

Whether GoDaddyBookkeeping is good or not (I wouldn't know), it is misleading that they don't tell you upfront what it costs. I just wasted more than an hour trying to get in to set it up. Finally I landed on the GoDaddy page (no idea how that happened), but then I saw it is not GoDaddy but an outsourced app. Reviews seem good, but again, save our time and energy and tell us what we will need to pay. And that's per month btw.

Great for small business record keeping. I am very happy with what it can do, frustrated at fact that there is no correlation with my website. I had to cancel the e commerce site because there is no connection with Godaddy bookkeeping

Good start for mobile access to outright. Biggest complaint is that if I accidentally hit a button (say Income) and I meant to hit another (say Accounts), I get stuck waiting for the Income info to load (and it often loads endlessly). I really want to be able to go back to the original screen and hit the button I wanted without waiting for all the loading. I've deleted GoDaddyBookkeeping and reinstalled in frustration because it's taken so long to load and I'm essentially stuck waiting, unable to access any other section. Also, I would like to see income breakdown as on the full site--I like to know my sales income versus shipping income. Will update this review as things improve.

There’s not another app I would use as a sole proprietor. It’s cheap and it does what I need it to do far as keeping track of income and expenses. A+

I don’t know what all the hate is about GoDaddyBookkeeping. I love it so far. It keeps track of stuff way better than anything I’ve tried.

Does what it's designed to do, but I've noticed that GoDaddyBookkeeping has quite a few bugs. Unbilled hours zero out when switching between menus, and then invoices zero out as well. Then it's unable to fetch any info from linked accounts. Only way to fix this is to force-close GoDaddyBookkeeping , then reopen it.

The account update feature, which is supposed to pull bank transactions into your bookkeeping data, doesn’t work most of the time. This means you either manually enter each transaction or wait for days until it magically works again. Not a way to manage a small business. Cmon guys, it’s not that hard.

GoDaddyBookkeeping used to put at least where the transaction to place so one could identify where it can from . Now it only states what type of payment I utilized making it a mystery when I try to reconcile my purchases. Huge two thumbs down for making do more work!! I do not recommend- currently looking for an alternative

Every time I press a button, there is a lag of 15 seconds or more before GoDaddyBookkeeping responds. Every. Single. Time. Literally the only function it serves is to look at your business numbers. It is almost entirely useless as a bookkeeping tool.

Transactions are never up to date every time I go on GoDaddyBookkeeping . Very frustrating. Just tried hitting refresh and the transactions are only up-to-date from 30 to 45 days ago.

Love this program!! Can’t believe how cheap it is too. Tracks everything, I’m literally left with very little bookkeeping.

Great app to organize a small business. Makes tax time a breeze. The charts give me a quick view of my business income and expenses.

GoDaddyBookkeeping syncs your accounts data and sales and shows you in a glimpse how your business is doing. Love it. Very useful.
