I really like how GermanFREE247LanguageLearning has helped me learn, especially via the "write in" method!
Some thoughts:
1. The write in method should not accept non-umlaut characters when the word is spelled with them. For example, GermanFREE247LanguageLearning considers "fur" as a correct answer, when "für" is actually correct.
2. The chime played for correct answers is always at maximum volume.
3. I must learn specific German words for my courses. If GermanFREE247LanguageLearning allowed me to create/upload your own flashcard data, i would gladly pay twice the price of the Vocab & Phrases apps!

Besides being free, GermanFREE247LanguageLearning makes it easy to learn or brush up on your German vocabulary. The different sections of GermanFREE247LanguageLearning make it fun so you don't get bored with one type of memory challenge, and the flash card section with audio also helps with pronunciation as well as memory. I would purchase an app from this developer as it seems they understand the needs of the student.

This is a great way to learn ... lot's of variety and fun to use instead of boring lessons. Uses different types of quizes that are a lot like games and keeps score for you. The multiple choice quiz is often very easy to guess but the write in quiz is difficult and really tests your knowledge. The puzzle quiz is fun to use and somewhere in between in terms of difficulty.

Also, great audio by a young German woman with a very nice sounding voice.

GermanFREE247LanguageLearning is alright and helpful with the audio, but I have come across a few mistakes. A couple words are mispelled and there are grammar errors too.

Of course this is common sense but if you are really into learning the language, just make sure you have other reliable sources.

But this is still a fun app to refresh some vocabulary if you are familiar with the language.

Horrible app. I got it as a refresher, and there are a lot of flaws. First, it directly translates English to German. If you say "I'm sorry" the way GermanFREE247LanguageLearning does, germans will think whatever happened acctually makes you sad. Also, Germans don't say "Ich mag ___" (I like ___) they say "___ glaubt mich" (___ pleases me). Last, it is just random vocabulary, that you don't know how to use. "Ich adfahren gestern" is not how you would say I arrived yesterday, it is "Ich bin gestern abgefahren," but since there is no actual teaching in GermanFREE247LanguageLearning, nobody would know that. I've only taken a year of German and I saw this in 5 minutes.

Easy to learn, and user friendly. Only things I want is the option to choose the type of voice that says the words, as it would help you pronuonce them better. (If ur a girl, it would probably be better hearing the words spoken by a girl with a soft voice, and vice versa.) Also, more words plz.

Brilliant Brunette should not be so quick to criticize. First, Germans especially younger people do say "Ich mag ..." such as "Ich mag Eis." (I like ice cream.). "Eis gefaelt mir" is more formal, but as my German exchange student told me, none of her friends ( probably not even her parents) would use the formal version. Also note it is "defaelt" not "glaubt", which means believe.

Very helpful app. Chech out the priority settings right away. I did not use it until i purchased the German tutor 101 and it helps even more. Forces you to work on the words that the more attention. I would love to see the addition of all vocabulary words used in sentences. It would put the vocabulary to better use. Please add :)

When you open GermanFREE247LanguageLearning unicorns should just jump out, it doesn't ask for an email or Facebook, it doesn't need wifi, it's really easy to use and it's got a lot of stuff to do. Thank you we home schoolers needed something!!!

Simple quizzes with audio, photos, multiple choice, and write-in answers. Not a stand-alone source for language learning, but a nice option to add variety. Love the "Speak and Compare" function!

I like GermanFREE247LanguageLearning but it doesn't have like, animal names and stuff like that. Also they should have something where you type the word in and it brings up the German word for it.

Flash cards are great, clear speech and over all a great study guide. I gave it a four star because GermanFREE247LanguageLearning should have a word repeat timer on it so you don't have to hit the sound button over and over again.

You should get this one instead of the ones you need to pay this is free and it teaches you it will really help for anyone who wants to speak german

This is a great tutorial for beginners. Has a good selection of vocabulary for a free program, and I found the puzzles to be pretty entertaining. Unfortunately, my own German, as poor as it may be, is too advanced for me to learn much from it.

This is very good. I like the quizes and even learn spelling. Looking forward to the more advanced 101 & 102 tutors to learn even more. Lessons are quick so even with a few spare moments can continue to learn.

I got GermanFREE247LanguageLearning about 3 hours ago so I could start learning some basic phrases for an upcoming trip to Germany and it is useless. I couldn't find basic phrases that were truly basic. "Hello", "Goodbye", "Please" and "Thank you" are all missing, and I didn't even bother looking for other phrases I'd like to know. I'm deleting it as soon as I post this review.

I can now speak German fluently and more accuratley than before... Would recomend for you to buy the full version!

My aunt and I had alot of fun with GermanFREE247LanguageLearning. I think this is not only helpful but a way to spend time in the office.

It's a great app and I love it. But what's the difference bettween GermanFREE247LanguageLearning and the 101 and the 102? It doesn't say. And they need to add something where u can type something in in English and it will tell u it in German.

This is the best learning tool I have seen yet. I retain more from this than any other.
