First Grade Learning Games Reviews

Amazing app thus far! I do however wish that on the sight words it would stop after either a time limit or a certain streak is hit. My sone played for several minutes and ended up getting frustrated because the application just kept on going. I took it over and got the streak up to 50 and it still never stopped and you cannot just exit it once you put it in a lesson plan so I had to exit the entire application. Needs work there.

The description implies that I can make a one-time purchase to unlock this game but the only option I can find is a subscription to the academy that unlocks all their apps from preschool to 7th grade. I sent an email asking the company about the single purchase option and they replied right away that it is a separate app: First Grade Learning Games SE. It is downloaded and my daughter is already playing. Thanks for the fast response!

When I click and approve the purchase to unlock all the games, it says “attempting purchase” then nothing happens. We can’t even get an idea if this is something good until we try a few more games. :(

Great app, and my child loved all the games, (especially variety of science beyond typical reading and math) but when I took FirstGradeLearningGames off my iphone and then went back to restore it - it came up as purchased, but was requiring me to purchase the full version again. Hoping this gets resolved.

got a lot of use from this along with kindergarten and second grade apps for both daughters (15 months apart) who play it. The games were all fun especially when the owl comes out and shoots across the screen when they win a game. There’s also points to collect little prizes and fireworks to shoot off and balloons to pop. Very good way to keep them interested!

Try to find something I like I look on the iPad but nothing I look in the bathroom but nothing I look in the office but nothing I look in the living room but nothing but then I look on my iPad again I see this game called first Grade I played with it and it was fun even though I was in second grade I play it and that’s why I wrote the story by

Good app, but can’t figure out when each section is complete or how far along my kid is? For example I have no idea how many spelling words there are in total to finish the whole thing? Same goes for each section… I see the progress report on what they have done… But Do the same words repeat over and over again? Or are there new words each time they play?

My daughter BEGGED me for the full version. I told her that she didn't have to beg for a learning app-especially this one. I do not know if it automatically renews up to the next grade level, but we are hoping so because l would like to keep this throughout her early years and more.

I am learning everything I can because I’m reading more first grade learning yeah yeah yeah learning is the best you have to buy all these other games but if parents say yes or no you can play all the other games I love them because my parents bot all the games

I mean its great and all but i dont see having to pay $4 for the entire learning game which my child will be done playing in like a couple of days. I think the free version should have more stuff unlocked like adding and subtracting because thats what i want my child to do

This is my daughters favorite app! She started off on the pre-school version. I reached out to customer service to fix a login problem and merge accounts, and the help was effective and very prompt. Don’t hesitate to get this one!

Updating this review it appears my 6 year old wrote without my knowledge. Seems like he was frustrated with FirstGradeLearningGames ...

My kids loved the preschool/kindergarten version of this game, so I was looking at this one. After reading that you can unlock all games for 4.99, I downloaded it. I had planned on the 4.99 purchase, but in the application there are only options for a monthly or yearly account.
Is the 4.99 unlock all games no longer an option? Even if more expensive, I would rather have a one time payment than a monthly or yearly subscription.

I really like FirstGradeLearningGames . But would like one additional feature with the addition and subtraction section. Can you have the ability to turn off the fruits that drop. I don’t want my kid to just count his answer instead of working the problem. Otherwise great app.

So my son loves FirstGradeLearningGames but he was getting frustrated that it was telling him he was wrong. So I'm watching him do the compare numbers game and lo-and-behold, he selected the correct symbol and it said he was wrong! I feel like as an educational game as simple as comparing numbers it wouldn't be telling him he's wrong. 😠 otherwise he loves the game but he says he's sad that it's not working correctly. "Try again!"

I love all of the things well just one thing I don’t like how you have to buy all the Games

Finding it impossible to cancel this subscription. FirstGradeLearningGames itself says you have to do it from FirstGradeLearningGames Store. I try going to FirstGradeLearningGames Store and RosiMosi comes up and says it can be done though Profile - Settings...I had to sign up then it told me it can’t find any subscriptions. Please advise.

I just purchased a year subscription. When I try to unlock games it says my subscription expired but I just got the YEAR subscription today...Please help!

My granddaughters, age 5 and 8, love FirstGradeLearningGames. The older one has been playing the free version for a couple years. Now she coaches the younger, but still finds some challenges herself...especially nouns, adjectives and verbs and the fractions...even though she’s in 2nd grade. Well worth $ unlocking!!!!!!

I like this game a lot because l got to 103 and I got super lucky that I unlocked all the games it was super fun you should get FirstGradeLearningGames !!!! I am going to delete FirstGradeLearningGames because I am finished with it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review from first grader:It gives you stickers, you can put the stickers in different places. You get to compare numbers. And you get to do sight words. It is fun.

I love this game because it has word bingo I love guessing the words it says to me but I want you to please make all the games free so kids can have more fun playing it so please work on that I have fun but I don’t have much fun on the game please and thanks

My 5 year old son who is in Kindergarten really enjoys playing this and I love all the different options of learning. And for 4.00 bucks, totally awesome !

My daughter loves this game. It was easily worth the $4. If you can’t afford $4 for a game to help educate your child you can’t afford an Apple Product...

I never slept in my bed last night cause this game

Once upon a day there was a princess named peach she is getting a little bit of her hair cut of she is scared because he her hair is cut to her shoulders already

I thought this would be a very nice app that is free. However after downloading it there are only 2 unlocked games out of about 12. I understand the fact that it is free, but even 4-5 unlocked games would have been better than 2!
