Ok, so my first issue is that it doesn’t even have an option for my cycles. I specifically downloaded an app so I wouldn’t have to change everything around in my calendar while I’m skipping cycles for the next few months. This is a 28 day in, 0 day out cycle. You just put a new ring in right away... MyRing only allows you to go down to 2 days out. Alright, whatever. So I tried to tweak it to make my “out day” a red dot just so I would know when to switch mine out for a new one.. but it marks my “out day” and the extra two days it’s making me have the same color, and it would alert me again to put a new one in two days later. That and every time you want to change the dot colors or anything, it resets all of your settings. Like what? Why not just let me change one thing at a time instead of having to redo everything? Just a terrible setup & no options for those of us that skip cycles. Found a free app that had all the options and didn’t reset to change small things.

Idk what happened, but 2 months ago MyRing stopped sending me notifications. I have relied on MyRing to remind me about my ring for the last 7 years, so when I didn’t get my reminder 2 months ago I didn’t remove my ring for a whole week. Messed everything up. Still messed up. I’m getting rid of MyRing after giving it 2 more months to work properly, but I should’ve received my reminder at 8 AM this morning and I didn’t. Over it. Just put “ring in”/“ring out” reminders in your calendar. It’s not worth the risk, I’ve been a mess for 2 months and now I’m vindictive. Don’t use MyRing .

I pay for MyRing for the sole purpose of receiving notifications of the proper time to remove and insert my nuvaring. When I launch MyRing , it will reveal the appropriate timing for these actions, put the push notifications are way off! I got a random push notification before I was supposed to remove saying it was time, and I blindly followed the suggestion because I trusted MyRing ; what a mess! Recently, I just haven’t gotten any push notifications at all. This completely defeats the purpose of the application for me, I’m so upset that I spent really money on this poorly developed application. Don’t rely on this if you care about not getting pregnant!

MyRing has been consistent with reminding me exactly when to take my ring out but for whatever reason this month it incorrectly reminded me 2 weeks before my ring needed to come out to take it out. I opened MyRing and everything in there with dates and my settings were right, just the notification was wrong. Then this week I had to manually check when to take my ring out and I took it out two days later than I was supposed to because I had to keep checking manually and I forgot the day of. No use of MyRing if the reminders are wrong.

I used to trust and rely on MyRing to tell me when to remove and insert my Nuvaring. I’ve now been duped by it twice and it’s completely messed up my cycle by telling me to remove it on the wrong day. I have a separate app to remind me when to take all of my daily medications because I have trouble remembering due to brain fog.

Last time this happened I made sure to actually open MyRing and check the dates from then on but I forgot this most recent time due to being under a lot of stress. I expect better from a paid app.

MyRing used to be great. I purchased it a few years ago and it was a savior when it came to reminding me each month. Lately my reminders don’t pop up as they should and because I rely on it, it’s messed my cycles up pretty bad the last few months. I ended up having to set reminders myself in my calendar. Ive tried to reset it and the same thing happens. This should be looked into.

Literally just use your own calendar now. I used to use MyRing, but switched birth control a few years ago and didn’t need it anymore. I re-downloaded and it’s SO confusing to use. Multiple colors on the calendar to indicate ring in, a countdown to taking the ring out, ring out days, etc. The legend for the calendar is on a different page. The wording is confusing too and messed up my schedule. The opposite of what you want for birth control.

I’ve been using MyRing for over a year. The one big issue I’ve found is that it sends ring remove/insert notifications at the wrong times. This last cycle it sent it the day before, and I didn’t realize, removing my ring. It has also sent them when I still have 17+ days before removal. It’s annoying to have to double check the reminders.

If MyRing could look like a regular calendar , starting the week with Sunday-Saturday and not Monday-Sunday, it would look less confusing when using it. And give users the option to be able to change all the color options in the calendar to better suit our preference. We did buy MyRing after all. I’d love to give a better review if these options were given to us.

MyRing worked great until sometime last year when it just stopped giving me alerts that it was time to take the ring out. I’ve tried checking all the notification settings on both my phone and MyRing , and I reset it a couple months ago. Didn’t make difference.

MyRing was working well, but recently something changed. I need to be able to change my cycles between 3 weeks to 3 weeks and a break week, since I don’t keep a set schedule. There used to be an option but it doesn’t come up for me anymore. Its the one thing almost no app can seem to get right :-(

I love MyRing. However I accidentally logged the wrong date for the removal of my ring. Now I am off track on the calendar; I still take it out on the correct date. MyRing should allow you to correct the date in case of an error in logging.

It works really well and helps me remember at which point of the cycle I am. I only wish the color dots in the calendar were of a bit brighter color and a bit bigger size.

MyRing used to be useful and I would get reminder notifications and then they stopped. So I thought maybe something was wrong with MyRing so I deleted it the re-downloaded it only to find out if I want reminders I have to pay for them now. That’s messed up to do that when it was a free app to now charge for reminder. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I simply don't have to think about my period anymore I get a mess that's tells me when to take the out and when to put it in it's simply wonderful. Thank you so much for app

I like MyRing , but I’m having an issue with the settings the scroll to change setting isn’t visible so I have to guess what numbers I’m choosing. It’s real annoying. I even paid for the monthly thinking it will fix the issue it didn’t. Please help

I’m a forgetful person so this is a great app! However, it’s clearly made by guys. I don’t care what color the dots on my calendar are and definitely don’t need 170 color options (some apps have decorative options like flowers or hearts...oh man- literally 🙄) i care about flexibility (which is lacking with MyRing) and timely alerts.

Multiple times now it has given me a “time to take out your ring notification” ON THE WRONG DAY. Usually it is about a week ahead of what it’s supposed to be. And yes once I listened to it and took out my ring and didn’t even realize until the next day and then had to insert a new one and it screwed up my whole cycle. It’s nice to have but do NOT rely on it always being right.

Works well, you get an alert when t remove/insert but I'm not a huge fan of the setup. I would prefer seeing a calendar of each month with diff color coded days showing when it's in vs out (other app I used had this but it's not available anymore)

MyRing has become in usable. My ring was set to be removed and I didn’t get a notification and so it was removed two days late and when trying to adjust the calendar for the new removal date it decided I put a new ring in and it won’t adjust the date! It’s awful. Go back a few editions

I love MyRing because I generally forget I even have my ring in, my only problem with this is my periods aren’t always consistent and it doesn’t have a missed period option and changing the dates for “ring in/out” don’t always sync up right.

MyRing has never failed to help me keep on track with my ring and I've been using it for a year and I'm still not pregnant it's great!

I just downloaded MyRing and everything was going well util I didn’t see an option to add notes on the days that have passed.. i click on the dates but nothing pops up to prompt me to add note for that day or anything.

MyRing told me to take out my nuvaring 10 days early and it threw everything off. I used MyRing for a while and never had any issues, but now it doesn’t even work for me. I highly recommend getting a different app to keep track of your nuvaring.
