A Scam

You have 3 days to evaluate SpectrumAnalyzer before being slammed into an in-app purchase. But no manual or help file to explain what you have 3 days to evaluate. Then SpectrumAnalyzer Store sends out a notice about a subscrption started: "To avoid being charged, you must cancel at least a day before each renewal date. To learn more or cancel, review your subscription". And the link here goes unanswered. So SpectrumAnalyzer Store is in on the scam. This could be a great app, but I'll never know.

Jam for subscription. Cant dump it from my iPad like a virus.

Cant dump it from my ipad like a virus. I will get this thing off my pad sooner or latter but as far as I am concerned they don’t say it in SpectrumAnalyzer promo and once it’s down loaded your going to work to get ride of it.

I will NEVER purchase an app without CC free trial to view pro features.

Crap, app is useless with free version.

Works great!

Ok so a lot of what the reviews say are true. There are a lot of annoying ads. I tried it for a while and liked it so I bought the pro version (completely ad free) I often use it to quickly identify feedback frequencies and love how they have the noise floor setup. It makes it wayyy easier to identify the correct frequency than with other apps.

Could use a new update!

I’m a person who just started using SpectrumAnalyzer, but it doesn’t allow me to put audio in! What if we didn’t wanna record audio? And you should allow us to change the background, so if we are using KineMaster to edit we can use chroma key and take out the background, I gave it two stars because I just think it would be a better app if you just add this. Please consider what I am trying to say.

Good but bad if they update

I bought the full spectrum analyzer and then something happened where I didn't have the full version anymore which forced me to buy it again. Which I did. Guess what happened again?! Had to buy it again to use the full features. Decided not to because they don't deserve my money each time they update SpectrumAnalyzer .

Thanks, but no thanks.

Dangerous App!! Ads ignore phone vol/mute setting

This totally embarrassed me at a speaking event. I had my phone turned down in every way possible, with every mute switch flipped, and the ad came in so loud. To top it off, it was political satire defaming the president and sounding a bit like porn at the same time. I don’t care what your views are, that kind of BS can be misinterpreted and cost a job or first date. I was
I can’t imagine the horror if this has happened to a sound guy in a classical concert.

And the ad does not exit or silence immediately. It’s a good 5 seconds of extreme volume.

I think apple should have a rule against apps that ignore your mute setting.

Was useful, now horrible.

Even one star is too high of a rating for this now. Earlier free version was actually useful to get a ballpark idea of frequencies. As the other reviews say, now with adding the ads, and even more limitations, it is pretty useless. There are other free and/or cheap Spectrum analyzer Apps out there, shop around before purchasing...

Not worth downloading

Extremely basic and attempts to load new content at every screen. Annoying to use and under featured. If a paid version exists I definitely would not get it.

The mighty have fallen.

The new version is riddled with ads and basically useless. After the adds, now it doesn't work right. This used to be the best sound app I had, I would have paid for the old version.

So many loud ads

I would give it minus stars if possible. Six full volume pop up ads in 5 minutes. People kept looking over to see why my phone is so obnoxious. You can't click some of them off once they start. Forget this mess. Deleted.

Installer beware!!

SpectrumAnalyzer messed up my sound!
Turned all my sounds to mute..
And when I did get sounds they were buzzing or low pitch screeching. SpectrumAnalyzer is constantly on, using battery and listening in on your phone!!
Try it if you must but don't be surprised if something wired happens...

Loud Ads, Not Sensitive on Levels

As the title says, SpectrumAnalyzer has ads on load that will completely ignore whether or not you’ve turned on silence and it doesn’t pick up soft sounds because the sensitivity isn’t high enough. Skip SpectrumAnalyzer!

By

Older versions were more useful

While it still works the amount of ads that are now shown put SpectrumAnalyzer on the uninstall list.

By

They stole my money

SpectrumAnalyzer stole my money from me and Apple won’t do anything about it. I hit x on an ad and then it said you paid 20$. Stealer liar thief. App did work, I decided I didn’t need the full version and then they stole money and apple let them.

Don't bother

Exactly what I was looking for in a spectrum analyzer, but it doesn't work properly! The dB always starts at 0db. Ambient noise is about 40db. If this worked it would be perfect. Glad I didn't pay money for it.

Ads make this app unusable

SpectrumAnalyzer is extremely frustrating because it completely interferes with functionality for the sake of make some chump change off of poorly placed advertisements. Yuck.

By

Only goes as low as 200Hz

Why would you not make it for the entire spectrum of hearing? Why only go as low as 200Hz? What if I have a dangerous spike at 100Hz? I won't be able to see that in the analyzer.

By

Too many adds

SpectrumAnalyzer has too many adds running constantly through out the use of SpectrumAnalyzer , not just when opening.

By

Unusable

Just charge for SpectrumAnalyzer . SpectrumAnalyzer is not really free, and is unusable without purchase. Ads are loud, annoying, and ridiculously frequent. For those to come up during a service with sudden noise is unacceptable.

By

Do not download

This is a piece of adware. Too many ads and hoops to get mediocre functionality. If money is the most
Important thing to the developer make it a paid app upfront. Thhis is crap.
