I am so glad I got GermanTranslatorOffline. I am pretty fluent in German, but it has been a long time since I had someone to talk to in the language. I'm a bit rusty. This works beautifully. I can type in what I want to say and check to see if it's what I thought it should be. I can check pronunciation and correct accent placement, too. A lot of English words have been absorbed into German over the years and this helps me with how those English words are being pronounced by German speakers. I am using it so much I decided to upgrade and I'm very glad I did.

As an ESL teacher, and someone who already speaks three languages, I feel like GermanTranslatorOffline is great. I’ve been looking for two months since moving to German for an app that would allow me to learn on the go. Also, when learning a language it is difficult to learn how to properly use words when you don’t know the context they are applied to. Or, if you are curious as to ask or say something in a certain context. Great app.

GermanTranslatorOffline has been a lifesaver as we figure our way around on our first visit to Germany! I love that you just type in the word(s) without having to worry about which language it is. The dictionary option and example sentences have helped a lot for certain words that didn’t come up automatically. (Bonus - some example sentences are hilarious!)

This is a great app. I have used it both for German and for Portuguese and it is quick versatile and accurate. It totally takes the edge off the stress of communicating in another language. I am so thankful for having found GermanTranslatorOffline and refer to it regularly both to check my reading of complicated treatises not found in English translation and for conversational use. All I can say is THANK YOU!!

I use this all the time to talk to my sons gf parents who live in Germany and don’t speak any English. We can translate both ways!! Love it! And when we were I Germany this past summer I used it exclusively to communicate as my own German sucked lol. I highly recommend this ap. ESP if traveling abroad with no internet service !!

I’ve been trying to learn German without taking all of the lessons and I was really excited for GermanTranslatorOffline, and it is accurate and everything. But, as all apps have, there was a flaw. The flaw is that there is just way too much going on in GermanTranslatorOffline . All of the ads and other things in GermanTranslatorOffline are just chaotic, distracting, and it’s just too much to handle. :/

I am a true beginner to the German Language and I constantly need to reference words as I write or speak and GermanTranslatorOffline has been extremely helpful as well as correct! I enjoy seeing the different usages of the words and seeing them used in sentences. I will continue to use and so happy this exists!

What a great way to really learn words that you have previously looked up.
I am taking a course in German. At first I had great difficulty, but GermanTranslatorOffline is finally making it work!

Since yesterday my German translation dictionary isn’t working properly. It’s like i have no internet connection which i do. I even tried it with vpn but it’s not responding. It’s like it’s offline . What should i do ? GermanTranslatorOffline is vital for me .

First off: Free unless you decide to go premium.
Easy; intuitive. Just tap the microphone and you speak a word or phrase.
The program translates into German (with speach playback) AND includes a bunch of phrases that can be used in the same manor.
You can hold a conversation this way if necessary.

I have used many translation programs, Apps, and Services and this is by far the best and most useful and most accurate with lots of real life examples that are relevant. The developer is also incredibly responsive!

GermanTranslatorOffline is helping me learn German. I especially like the extra choices that come up when I type something in. I sometimes have trouble getting back to the screen when GermanTranslatorOffline goes to the dictionary on its own.

I love that that I can even translate full sentences on GermanTranslatorOffline, and not just that, GermanTranslatorOffline also pulls up related sentences with german translation that makes my mind experience and learn more than what I just looked up. I am on GermanTranslatorOffline more than I am on Facebook etc!

The best way to learn a language is to live where it's spoken. Since it's long shot that I'd ever actually live in Germany, GermanTranslatorOffline is a big help in not only communicating with German speakers, but also as a teaching tool for grasping a better understanding of proper sentence structure. It's not Star Trek's Universal Translator, but it's pretty darn close!

This fills in all the rather large gaps in my memory from years of learning German in high school. That it's available offline is invaluable for pronunciation and understanding while traveling. Only wish I had found it sooner.

There was a time where there were little or no ads in GermanTranslatorOffline... those were the good times. Now, there's an ad after almost every single time I click on the pronunciation button, which completely brakes me train of thought and renders GermanTranslatorOffline useless. also, I know enough German to know that the translations do not translate anywhere near what they mean from one language to the other.

It has the ability to translate full sentences, giving some example variations of them. And I love how if I type in a German noun, it will tell me if its Masculine(Der), Feminine(Die) or Neutral(Das) right at the top, without me having to go hunt it down.

German Offline Translator is the ultimate supplemental app for any app-based German language learning. Use it in conjunction with other programs to create and improvise your own sentences in addition to excellent translation capability. A must have.

I’ve been trying to properly translate as well as pronounce German for family tree purposes as well as to be able to use basic German in the proper context. A great app for someone wishing to learn and for quick and easy conversion to English.

The other apps give you no option but to watch ads every 2 seconds if you don't pay, this one doesn't. Great for learning phrases or translation of single words.
