There are so many things that I like about DaysEventCountdown: ease of use, red button on badge, simplicity. But, there are just a couple of things that drive me a little nuts. 1. As so many others have mentioned, I’d love to have the ability to customize just a little with font size, color, adapt the photo just a touch. 2. But the second one is actually a problem. I emailed about this and have not received any word back. The number of days my badge shows is different than the number when I open DaysEventCountdown up (the inside number is accurate). The badge number seems to get “stuck” I’ve had it be off by as many as 3 days and when one of the things that I like about DaysEventCountdown is that it is so simple to just turn my screen on and there’s the count-down, this definitely results in my satisfaction decreasing.

I have tried so many “countdown” apps and this one was hands down the best. I have been using it for probably close to a year now and it has never given me any problems at all, including using the widgets. The only thing missing for me is Apple Watch compatibility…especially in the form of a complication to use on the watch face. Would LOVE to see this sometime! Great app…thank you for helping me count down to cancer related milestones and more. ❤️

Just downloaded DaysEventCountdown - overall I really like the concept but the implementation needs work. My main use for it is to view the iOS 14 widgets. Here lies the issues:

1. **Fixed in latest release**
The Set Image Focus in DaysEventCountdown does not line up with the image shown in the widget...why? The image in widget is lower and I can’t get it to change

2. It would be great to have a Medium-size widget (2x4) be able to contain two events side by side - that way you can see more events in one “view”.

3. Weird cropping ends up blowing up the image used in Focus Image and Widget. I don’t know why this happens but it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s taking me an hour to find an image that looks good after cropping. It should be much easier.

4. It would be great to add an option to what action occurs when clicking on the widget. I’d like to have it open up the main app page and see all my events. Right now it takes me into the shown event to edit it. So I’m always having to press Back

I like the aesthetic of DaysEventCountdown but I wish there was more customization of the photos. I only was able to upload 1 photo from my photo library but saw that it cropped in too much on the photo so I resized it so that I could get more of the photo in the thumbnail but it won’t allow my to upload anymore photos. Or at least there’s no option to. Only opening the camera but I wanted to choose more from my photo library. Even when I try to make a new event, it only allows me to choose the 1 photo I uploaded or use the ones they have available on DaysEventCountdown . I’m pretty disappointed since I actually paid for DaysEventCountdown and only wanted to use it for this 1 event.

One thing I love about DaysEventCountdown: the free version has no ads.

DaysEventCountdown is so clean and simple which is exactly what I was looking for. It is beautiful in design and everything flows so nicely. Definitely worth getting. I am still using the free version because it has everything I need.

One thing I would love for the developers to add to DaysEventCountdown would be the time as well as he date. So that when it comes close to it I could see how many hours, minutes, and seconds until my event comes.

I have a widget for Days on my homepage and I have used it for every single important event since I downloaded it. The simplicity and usability of the Days app are unparalleled, and I see it as a massive improvement over the Calendar app.
The only thing that I would like is if DaysEventCountdown was made completely free. Now, I understand that developers have to make money, so I'd like to recommend that the devs should add a way to donate to support them.
In general, this would increase the downloads of DaysEventCountdown , and increase the retainment rate of users, and would also likely increase the amount of money earned, due to the donation not being a requirement for full use of DaysEventCountdown , but instead an act of goodwill.

I hope the developers read this and understand my point of view.

Great app. I rarely ever purchase apps, but DaysEventCountdown is fantastic and I purchased it immediately. While a bit too many taps to add events, I love the addition of pictures. I wish there was a way for DaysEventCountdown to track the age of someone when it is a recurring birthday reminder. Also, if the countdown is used for goal setting (eg weight loss), I would love to be able to enter notes or progress within each reminder.

There are tons of awesome photos on DaysEventCountdown , and you can use your photos too. There are many options for notifications and DaysEventCountdown was super easy to use. With the free version, you can only add a certain amount of events and I could not figure out how to add more than one widget. But you can always upgrade if that is an issue for you. I would highly recommend trying DaysEventCountdown!

I love using DaysEventCountdown as a way to look forward to things! It’s really fun and easy to use. HOWEVER I WISH YOU COULD CHANGE THE COUNTDOWN SETTINGS. I would like to be able to exclude weekends for one of my countdowns and I wish it could tell you how many hours you had until the date even when there’s still 7 days for example. Otherwise it’s a great app! Definitely recommend :)

I got DaysEventCountdown so I could count down the days till my graduation. I enjoy the fact that you can use professional photos or your own photos for the backgrounds. I knew about unsplash before DaysEventCountdown, and I’m glad to see it being used in such a capacity here. Did wish however that the event categories were expanded or could be more personalized. Other than that, I love it

If you have a target date that is more than the types shown on the event, it rounds down instead of up. For instance, if I have an event that is 1 yr, 6 months, 3 weeks in the future and display only years and months, it displays 1 yr, 6 months and disregards the 3 weeks. DaysEventCountdown should round up and display 1 yr, 7 months. Just dropping off the remaining time is inaccurate and misleading. Give the user the option. This issue has been reported before and never gets addressed.

I have tried many countdown app over the last few months. DaysEventCountdown is super easy to use. It’s exactly what I was looking for. I love the widget as well. It automatically changes to the next event I have coming up. I like how you can use the images in DaysEventCountdown (there are many to choose from) or use your own image.

I would just like to thank the creators for not charging a premium for having a singular countdown widget added to my home screen. This was like the 5th or 6th countdown app I installed. All the others before were locked behind a pay wall. 5 stars easy. It even lets you search the unsplash image database for background photos.

Just discovered and purchased DaysEventCountdown and I'm HOOKED! Love the simplicity and layout! I have a lot of business and personal events so this is perfect for me. Please please please make an ‘countdown every year’ kind of option that would make certain events/holidays recurring every year. That would work really awesome for people’s birthdays so i don't forget those 🙊

I bought DaysEventCountdown from Apple store and it’s awesome. I love it!

If there is one feature to suggest, I’d like to see a reminder custom made for each event. Let’s say for a particular event, I want to be reminded 5 days before and for another 1 day before. Currently, DaysEventCountdown allows it to be set commonly for all events.

DaysEventCountdown has a very aesthetically pleasing design, is easy to understand, and looks very sleek and simplistic. All in all, it’s probably the only countdown app out there that actually looks good. However, my main goal was an app with a functioning and pretty widget but unfortunately the widget for DaysEventCountdown did not even show the countdown. That was the only disappointing aspect but it was significant for my purposes.

DaysEventCountdown was perfect until widgets started malfunctioning a few weeks ago - now they don’t work at all and it was one of the main draws for me! Can you fix this? Update - Found response from support (thanks!) in my spam but regrettably the problem got worse after the most recent update (used to have a couple of widgets greyed out, now they are all greyed out). :(

The best widget app I’ve seen in App Store! I really like the design of both app and widget.

The one more feature I will want to have is the ability to change which event I want to see in the widget. (Currently I can only see the nearest event.) It would be really great to have this feature! Thanks!

perfect app, but one complaint: after the iOS 13 update, the widget displays the number of days in a black font that is difficult to see. i’d wish you would change it back to a white font so that you can read the countdown against the background picture clearly. thank you! lovely and beautiful and simple app!

Easy to use countdown app with all the features needed. The full version is worth the purchase for the value. The suggestion feature and app support is very good too. I’ve been long distance with my girlfriend for 2 years and DaysEventCountdown was the best one I used.

The UI is just amazingly simple and crystal clear. Very smooth. I upgraded to the paid version seriously in 10 minutes from using DaysEventCountdown .
I just wish it had a duly notification for the upcoming events. That would actually be so cool.

I love it that I can get excited anytime I see my phone with upcoming trips and vacations!!! This is 🙌. I hate the fact I can't adjust the font or the color and do more then one photo. Like I want to collage it with everyone going on our vacation. Other then that I don't know of any fee yet... I noticed that others said there is a price but I only have 2 events si far.

My daughter askes me almost daily “How many more days until Halloween, my birthday, your birthday, til grandpa comes, til we go to England etc.?” so I was looking for an app to help me out as I was tired of googling 😂. I absolutely love that I can add my own pictures. It’s so easy to figure out and looks great.

I love DaysEventCountdown! It’s so easy to use and is very helpful. It makes it easier to look forward to fun events. The only problem I have with DaysEventCountdown is that you have to pay to get more than four events in DaysEventCountdown . It should have at least 5 free events at a time.

It has a great appearance and is very easy to use. The major problem is the ability to manipulate a background photo from your photos. The chosen photo seems to snap into one position and often times cuts out the sides of the photo without the ability to change. I would still recommend DaysEventCountdown .

DaysEventCountdown manages to do what I’ve been looking for in a countdown app. That is to show the number of days as the red badge icon on the home screen, so I don’t have to open DaysEventCountdown every time I want to be reminded how many days until the event. I had to download like, 6 other apps and DaysEventCountdown is literally perfect. Thank you developers!!!!!!!!!

Being able to select the background image for my countdown weight loss goal is everything! I can have my “before” picture right there as a reminder!

This is a really great app to use to keep up with your dates in a creative, and fun way !
I love it but, for some people it gets on their nerves to have to pay to get more days. But, for me that is perfectly ok!
So, if you are someone with a lot of dates to remember, this isn’t DaysEventCountdown for you.

I have only had DaysEventCountdown for a week but I like it better than my other free countdown app, because of the way it is set up that I can just open it up and see all my countdowns. I'll do an update once I have it longer.

The only thing is I'd hope there was a way to count down to an event like school by being able to subtract the total weekends and the holidays off so it would be more of an accurate countdown.

I adore DaysEventCountdown. It’s simple, elegant, and with the ability to set photos for every event it’s a beautiful way to get excited about upcoming events. All it needs now is an iPad version! I would absolutely pay for DaysEventCountdown!
