A lively resort. The staff from the house keeping to the entertainment was so friendly and helpful. Very clean and the food was outstanding! Would like to give a shout-out to a few who made my vacation an experience I will never forget! First and foremost Pierre! You found him at the towel hut, playing games with guests and working with the entertainment in the evening. No matter where he was or what he was sing he was smiling and making sure he could be of assistance with whatever you may need! Andrew on the pool bar during the day always remembered your name and welcomed you with a smile. Seriously I travel a lot one of the best vacations ever! Will be returning! Thank You to the entire staff, y’all are Amazing!!

We used IberostarHotelsResort during a 6-day stay in Jamaica. It’s not clear whose fault it was, but IberostarHotelsResort ’s view did not always agree with hotel view. For example, it showed a confirmed reservation for 12/23 for a restaurant that was closed that day, and for 12/24 it kept sending a reminder while the restaurant did not have a record of reservation. For room service options the order placement was also broken, and even the choices shown were poor. Lastly, the map function was barely useful since its best use would be to help find the restaurant or other location while on premises, but it miscalculated current location. A walking directions view or proximity view would have been much better (or even directions from the room to the restaurant).

IberostarHotelsResort is very promising though, and that is why I have given it 3 stars instead of 1. If it can iron out the (significantly serious) issues noted above, it can improve the stay experience significantly.

I really enjoy the Iberostar hotel app at The Grand Rose Hall and being able to order rm service, check the daily activities, schedule dinners at the different restaurants as well as see the menus is so helpful and convenient so much easier to have it all in one app without needing to use the phone or waste paper schedules. Between IberostarHotelsResort and what’s app for communicating with butlers and concierge I’m able to cut down time and face to face conversations during these COVID times. My only complaint would be no spa menu already in IberostarHotelsResort although it was sent to me easily and excursions. I wish it also had a real time map. It has a map but general.

This is our second time here to this restaurant and I got to say the food was amazing...love the Mole, Barbacoa, Guacamole, three kinds of sauces (by special request) but what made it perfect was our service and connection with Omar.
Omar was helpful in understanding the various types of food and made recommendations on future food adventures. He really made us feel at home when we’ve been away from our family for close to a week.
Great dinner and Omar made this the best night of our trip!!

Couple complaints:
In the login screen where you choose a guest, the guest options are off the screen for smaller screens, such as the iPhone SE. Would generally be a good idea to test the entire UX on smaller screens, and rectify with scrolling views or something else.

Got a notification to complete a feedback quiz, but upon clicking the notification, got an error message something like “expected a 200 but got 500”. In addition to whatever error is causing the 500 response, you should probably also have more human-friendly error messages.

Good start for IberostarHotelsResort . Needs to have the information updated more quickly. Dinner reservations should be accessible in IberostarHotelsResort . Activity schedule ia in IberostarHotelsResort but not for the entIre property. The menu is not up to date and There is no link for the spa menu or the your butler. It also would be grrat to check on your room folio from IberostarHotelsResort . The room service and guest request chats are GREAT with GOOD turnaround times. Overall you can still enjoy your vacation without IberostarHotelsResort if you have whatsapp but the next release should make it integral to hotel operations.

That might sound bad, but I had IberostarHotelsResort 2-3 years ago and it has very little functionality so i deleted it. This trip come to find out you can make reservations and book room service on it, I re-downloaded IberostarHotelsResort and went to town. I even got responses almost right away when I texted my troubles with room service. They were helpful and polite and I really like that about IberostarHotelsResort, as well as the schedule and ability to get reservations easily.

Best place to stay! Couldn’t ask for more except....coffee bar at the beach for early morning risers while taking a walk, mediating, reading at the beach and sandwiches need to be offered at the snack bar. Other than that Iberostar you couldn’t be successful without your wonderful hardworking employees and staff! Please be good to them and reward them, they deserve it!!!!

I last used IberostarHotelsResort two years ago and it’s much more useful than it was. The map is easier to use; the activities schedule is more complete; and the layout is more intuitive. It still lacks a few useful features though. 1) restaurant & spa reservations should be automatically added to your calendar. 2) Staff can message you but you can’t message staff. All guests should be able to message directly with requests and Club members should be able to message staff in the Star Prestige lounge.

This was the most amazing resort. So clean and ecologically sound. All the staff were friendly. We especially wish to praise Eliezar who treated us and all his clients as royalty. The grounds, pool and beaches were impeccable. The Mexican show was absolutely amazing and a must see. All the activity personnel were so great.
The only reason I give 4 stars is because I have bad back and the bed was too firm to sleep without pain. We asked for topper but it did not help. I had to sleep on couch for seven days which was a sad drawback because sleep was not good.

The map and info about the resort is always available but other things within IberostarHotelsResort don’t work right. I have yet to actually be able to make a restaurant reservation within IberostarHotelsResort . Also, information within reservations visible from the concierge do not offer English options. IberostarHotelsResort will log you out if you do not have good internet connection, which is often sometimes in another country.

The property is beautiful, but unfortunately the quality of the food and drinks is bad. We stayed for 7 days and the menu for the breakfast and lunch is the same every single day, the food is cold and tastes pre-made. No natural juices, no shakes and juice station for breakfast. At the bar they have only low quality alcohol. if you want to drink a decent liquor, then you have to pay extra. No waiters at the pool and beach area, you have to get in line at the bar to get your drinks every single time. I have stayed at many all inclusive resorts and this resort offers less options and quality food than others.

The website should give more information about the attached resorts that we can visit, the restaurants that are there and what we can make reservations for, and the entertainment at the other resorts that are attached to our resort. There wasn’t much information about New Year’s Eve festivities. There should be more explanation about how to get reservations at restaurants. The website looks nice and works well. It needs more practical instructions on how to get the most out of the Iberostar experience at our specific resort.

I would’ve loved to make all my reservations here but IberostarHotelsResort wasn’t intuitive for booking appointments with members of my party staying in other rooms. So we went to the concierge. Otherwise, all the data was solid. Regardless, I became a club member because the staff at iberostar Punta de Mita was so solid. Can’t say enough good stuff and there are so many nice people. But a can’t-miss is speaking with Felipe about some activities. The dude is honest, great at recommending experiences and knows the best guides.

Sunshine, beautiful surroundings, and most of all…beautiful people! We came with two other couples and have enjoyed every minute of our stay. The staff has been great. Our butler, Danilo, made sure that our every wish was fulfilled. Dacairdi-b, by the Pool bar, ensured fun and entertainment. Everyone hear has been kind, sweet, and so pleasant. I will recommend iberostar grand bávaro to all my friends and family.

Came down here from Texas with my work group for a getaway. The hospitality is amazing, everyone is so nice! We’ve met so many nice people. The staff does such a great job to make sure that you’re having a nice stay; for example, my glasses broke and within 30 minutes they were up at the room, with super glue to fix them! Definitely recommend staying here!

We took our Covid test on Thursday we were told they would be in on Friday morning it’s Friday afternoon we still don’t have Covid test results and never received an email and we are supposed to leave tomorrow morning everyone keeps giving us a different answer. Also Wednesday night the ice cream place it was 940 and they would not serve us ice cream giving us an attitude and told us it closed at 10. Second time here , first time was great but we wouldn’t return after this visit

Amazing resort!!!! Everything was perfect!!! I have to mention all the great workers that helped me so much: sac at the front answer all my questions. Letícia at the pool is the best, the other leticia at the Japanese is an perfect work, and angel was the person that made sure we were comfortable.
So many thanks for those that made my stay so special.

The map they give you at the resort is illegible. IberostarHotelsResort doesn't have a map loaded and... Ideally... It would show you a walking route!

The event reminders are good. Like being able to book online, but don't see a way to book a restaurant x amount of days out.

Like the menu options being on IberostarHotelsResort . Good to have access to reporting room issues because no one answers phones. But no one tells you you can use IberostarHotelsResort to request these things.

This is no reflection of the hotel, but IberostarHotelsResort is no good. It takes a very long time to load anything and will just time out on you all the time and just give you a white screen. For this to be the place they are pushing people to check in and other things IberostarHotelsResort needs some help and lot of love. There isn’t even options to upgrade your stay, book the spa or do any other special orders. Please spend some time working on IberostarHotelsResort’s response time and capabilities. It’s not convenient to have to call the customer line in order to do anything, respectfully.

The application is useful for making reservations (although the concierge has greater access), finding daily activities and events, and navigating the property. You can also use it to request room service and view restaurant hours. However, the chat feature (to ask the staff questions) doesn’t work. The surveys they ask you to complete for feedback coincidentally don’t consistently open. Lastly, you can’t upload your upcoming reservations in advance. This is crucial since ala carte restaurant reservations fill up quickly. We had to email the concierge before arrival, and we’re lucky we did. Some of the other people we traveled with couldn’t get reservations.

Didn’t use it to make reservations, but honestly the buffets had better food than the restaurants anyway. (We ate at reservation-only restaurants twice during our stay. Both times, we hit up the buffet afterwards for some decent food.)

The hours listed in IberostarHotelsResort for restaurants and shows were not accurate. Check everything!

Almost every page has a crash box stating “something went wrong” - IberostarHotelsResort needs love from a good developer. It’s frustrating that the hotel doesn’t have paper options and they only have IberostarHotelsResort for things like the calendar. We had to go to the front desk and take pictures of the calendar they have working on their tablet.. pretty ridiculous for a 5 star resort in my opinion. Please invest a little money into a good developer or two.

IberostarHotelsResort might be working well, but if the concierge on the other end doesn’t respond, then it’s worthless.

Also- read the fine print. IberostarHotelsResort is an excellent data miner that allows Iberostar to view your activity. Call me paranoid, but this way they can determine what’s important to you and subsequently charge you for the service!

Checking restaurants and making reservations do not work. Submitting orders for room service is broken. The chat feature that lets you talk to the concierge cuts off message so you can only see the first 30 characters and you’ll have no clue what the staff is trying to tell you. You’re better off calling the front desk for everything.

Really felt like they thought of everything. Maps, schedules, restaurants, it’s all here!

IberostarHotelsResort seems to do less than the website. I’ve accepted the confirmation mail multiple times, but it still asks to send a new one. I’ve checked in, but it doesn’t recognize it and doesn’t show any information about my hotel. Unfortunately, not worth your time.

I’m at a Iberostar right now. Want to see activity schedule that used to be listed on paper. Now I’m told I have to use IberostarHotelsResort . Search for hotel from list. List is blank. Enter Tucan, nothing found. Try logging in. Unavailable. Other than take up space on my phone what does IberostarHotelsResort actually do?

IberostarHotelsResort is only useful for general information. No matter how much they recommend it, DO NOT use to book your dinner reservations. IberostarHotelsResort spontaneously cancels reservations and never provides up to date information. Go through the concierge, otherwise you are going to end up eating at the buffets.

Great idea if it worked. None in our group of tech savvy people could get IberostarHotelsResort to load. When it did 3 days into our trip, it was still only spotty. Also, content needs to be more robust.

One of the worst Apps I’ve seen in a long time. Barely functions. Chat doesn’t work, doesn’t remember your location, room service menu is incomplete, etc

This is so broken as to be non functional. I have seen app mock ups that did more. The pictures of IberostarHotelsResort look like that would be a great app. Too bad they are not from IberostarHotelsResort that you download.

Just downloaded the newest update and now IberostarHotelsResort abruptly closes when I click anything. Please fix the bugs!
