What is VOX? The VOX Music Player is a lossless music player app that allows users to play any audio files from their entire music collection. It supports all popular formats including Hi-Res ones and uses a custom-made audio engine based on BASS™. The app is an all-in-one audio player with all your favorite music sources, including iTunes music library, personal FLAC and MP3 music collection, Qobuz, SoundCloud®, Spotify, online radio with 30,000+ radio stations worldwide, and Last.FM scrobbling. The app also has advanced audio features such as playback FX, bass booster, gapless playback support, stream music via AirPlay, parametric equalizer with 30 presets, CarPlay support, Sonos support, and BS2B. VOX Music Cloud is available for premium subscribers, which offers unlimited music cloud storage for your music collections, sync all your music across all your devices, original quality playback, and offline music streaming. please support the use of multiple album covers within a single album
there are two albums in my library, that I can think of off the top of my head, which this is relevant to: Animal Collective’s Honeycomb / Gotham single and My Chemical Romance’s Conventional Weapons compilation each of these two albums have two or more covers: Honeycomb / Gotham has two; one for Honeycomb, and the other for Gotham. because Honeycomb is first, ONLY the cover for Honeycomb is used for BOTH tracks. for the Conventional Weapons compilation, there are 5 covers, but only the cover for Number One (the first single in the series) is used for every single track. I prefer to use this app over the regular Music app because I feel it’s superior in most ways, but this particular issue is super frustrating to me because it’s something that even Apple’s Music app supports, but for whatever reason, this app doesn’t. that being said, it’s really my only gripe with the app. the rest is wonderful, although I wish you could stream undownloaded songs with Apple Music through this app. that would be pretty cool.

VOX Music Player gets FIVE STAR rating
Very satisfied with the this app Music Player. Over the years, I went from listening to LP, to CD to my iPhone. I synced my library with I-Tunes, but my music library had been ripped in MP3 format. I have a good sound system but so much sound quality is lost in compressed formats. I heard about high-definition music but when I found out I needed special software to play it I just gave up. Then I found this app. I found free software from the web and I’m ripping all my CDs in FLAC format and uploading them to my this app library. It’s so simple. Now, with a little help from an Apple compatible DAC, I listen to music in all of its glory. Don’t let anyone tell you that there’s no difference; there is a big sound quality difference. this app instantly syncs what I upload from my PC to my iPhone; the app even has an excellent parametric equalizer that helps me adjust my music to the listening environment. I’m somewhat technically challenged so when I reached out to the this app developer, I received the same day response to my questions. How does it get any better? this app gets FIVE-STARS!

My New Go To
I took a little risk and signed up for the this app Premium with 2 year unlimited cloud service. The price was right and the research I did indicated promise. Sometimes things work out and sometimes they don’t. This time, the audio gods were smiling on me! I couldn’t be much happier with the audio quality. In fact, I’m thinking about selling my two high res audio players because this app sounds even better to me. No, it’s not perfect. Sometimes uploads are slow due to whatever, but not enough to deter me. I have loaded 171 GB of mostly FLAC files, and have a lot more to go! Not all of my artwork is showing up either, but their responsive service staff has assured me that these issues will go away when their Windows app is released and I can upload from there instead of the website. The bottom line for me is audio quality, and this app has that in spades.
