EME Hive - Dating, Go Live Reviews

I have been using EMEHive for 3 years now and I have met some people who are really friendly and decent. The only problem I have EME are spam accounts. I recently started chatting with girl I met on EME then later I found out that she is actually crazy and she started to make threats towards me. I find it disturbing that EMEHive does not have some kind of identity verification set up, so that people can know if the other person there chatting with is actually who they say are. EMEHive has a lot of fake accounts and that needs to change. I also find it odd that EMEHive glitches every 10 minutes. As soon as I start chatting with someone new who is overseas their profile all of the sudden disappears. Please fix these issues at your earliest convenience.

Not sure what the deal is with all the negative reviews, but personally I really enjoy EMEHive . It’s kind of a nice mix of streaming / dating and that helped me personally get to know people on a deeper level than just window shopping like 99% of other dating apps. Met some really cool people and went on some great dates, and I’m not even Asian. Just interested in Asian culture and broadening my horizons. Not the most polished app for sure but seems like the devs are slowly making the experience better. Definitely underrated social app imo

My fellow abg’s and abb’a EMEHive is not worth it.
First off you can’t even play music while you’re on EMEHive so you’re gonna be scrolling in SILENCE. SECOND the setup for EMEHive is complete booty, if you use one email for an account and for any reason delete it, YOU CANNOT MAKE ANOTHER ACCOUNT WITH THE SAME EMAIL. THIRD they only let you talk to one person a day, so if you think you can get more than one person on here you gotta PAY. Like they will lock messages until you start throwing money in to see what people send you. Don’t pay for love, get on tinder, or even yubo if you’re that down bad. 1/10 would not use again.

I loved EMEHive, if you are asian or like asians, this is your app! You can easily meet a lot of people trhu their LiveStreaming feature. I joined one of their communities, kept active within the community and got to knew people that has the same interest that I have. I was able to date with one of them and we are still boyfriend&girlfriend

People say scam and stuff, but I found my soulmate there from the livestream (started out as friends) and we are looking to get married soon. It works and it’s true! Just spend some time on it. Don’t just look for quick gains.

Why would I need to pay a subscription to find and have love? I have been getting messages from girls but I have to subscribe in order to see them. However, those messages are fake profiles to begin with. There aren’t many filters either. No one is in my area even though I’m in a populated area. Looks like I’ll never find my significant other. There are probably better apps out there.

EME Hive has built a bunch of features for finding people like you OR totally different! There’s always people live and ready to meet, just a matter of finding your niche.

I met cool Asian dates and friends through EMEHive . Live-streaming has a good community, and I made friends very quickly. Kudos to the team who put this together!

This is an awesome app to connect with the asian community. I’ve had a great experience through EMEHive. Definitely a great choice!

Live stream community is great! The fact that they have a dating side too is a major plus!

Just using tinder and bumble. Your chances are far better than EMEHive. I a found long-term girl on bumble and quite happy about it.

So just stick to the original dating apps instead of new apps that are charging you like crazy.

Now when I try to “deactivate” my account it’s constantly saying “internal server error” …. Reallly suspicious when an app won’t let you delete your account :/

I can’t find the option to cancel subscription or opt out of the auto renewal subscription. Extremely frustrated

All they have in this horrible app is scammers that ask you to join line or whasapp because they are trying to steal your information

Every message I try to send would fail what’s the deal with that?

Pros: meeting new people from all over, building community with other Asians, opportunity to make some money while streaming
Cons: poorly made app; newest update will make your app crash every 10 minutes or so, drains battery in the blink of an eye and causes your phone to overheat (tablet recommended), EMEHive feels desperate- there are new events way too often that are made to have viewers cough up real cash so that East Meet East (EME) can make more money. As a result, the events have gotten boring and many people nowadays tend to avoid these streams with the exception of Bachelors and Bachelorettes which are the ONLY entertaining and purposeful shows that exist on EMEHive . There are also many elite streamers who have had issues “cashing out” their donations which is another shady and convenient issue that benefits EME, as they cannot afford for many popular streamers to claim their rightfully earned money all at once.
In conclusion: try it for yourself, meet people, but I don’t recommend spending money on EMEHive .
To EME: Focus less on your advertising and use all of that money to polish your app. It’s really embarrassing when Asian celebrities promote your app and then people log on only for it to crash 10 mins later.

Ok App, giving it 3 star cause of to many scammer. Long story short, I was on here for over a year. Met a few good person but no connection. Out of 100 smile, I might only had 10 reply. Sad story lol. Ran into a few scammer that try to make it look like you are a hunker sexiest man alive. Left EMEHive , came back to give it another try. Send out 5 smile and a few message. Nothing! Well finally had a reply back and here the crazy part. We had to PAY just to read the reply. So I sign up for 3 month, reply to that person. A few hour later, that person left EME. Seem like somebody out here scamming us hard worker to sign up and spend our hard earn money so EME can get richer. After my 3 month over, I’m deleting this scammer app. Wish I can get my refund!

I enjoy EMEHive for the streaming function. It’s nice making friends with real people. However, after setting my location, I realized it was a little too accurate for my liking and wanted to change it to not include the city. Unfortunately it won’t let me change it and that gives me a lot of anxiety. Can you fix this please?

EME is a dating app under the “pay to play” concept. This is literally worst than any other dating app Ive ever used so far. I love seeing customer service responds to everyone with the same exact answer “woman like to feel desired...” like that is the funniest scam if I’ve ever heard one. If women want to feel desired, men shouldn’t have to pay just to receive a message (and vice versa) - because they don’t get the money, you do. This should have a concept like bubble dating app where if we match, it’s up to the female party to decide weather they want to talk to you are not. Now that’s desire. I don’t understand why these apps always want you to pay a premium when the premium is what EMEHive should do in the first place. Would give this review 0 stars if possible.

Ive been using EMEHive and paid for subscription many times. However, sometimes person who is not in my area shows up and profile says they are located in my town, in reality, they are way far away like other states. Since Im living in the State where there are not that many users using EMEHive and I am pretty sure EME is doing this on purpose to make people to use and pay for subscription. This is totally wrong way to approach dating app cuz I lost lots of trust in this. If not, you guys need to hire new software developer, algorithm they are using may have so many bugs. Also why is there so many updates where app’s chat system doesn’t get any better. It is so slow and not sending message sometimes

Unlike most dating apps, this has a streaming option where you can engage with a lot of people on the platform and it’s super fun and interactive. The audience can send gifts/diamonds which equates to actual money earned, the whole community is pretty cool with one another and it’s overall a fun time. I’ve streamed a couple of times on here and it’s been great each time. I also met someone I’m talking to romantically from EMEHive , which is another plus! Would recommend

You get smiles from people all over but they make sure to reach out to you first so it persuade you to purchase a subscription to view the message. Soon all the person is curious is asking how long have you been on EMEHive ? What’s your experience? How long have you use EMEHive ? Felt like they are robots created to make you think there are actual people really want to get to know you but seems like a huge SCAM! Terrible at least tinder you can meet real people, some might be a bit cray but at least they’re real and looking to make a connection as well. Good move real “smart” kinda shame that this was created for Asians we are definitely smarter than that don’t you think?

I have been on EME app for more than a month and I mainly use it for live streaming. During live streaming I have met so many friends(both guys and girls). I enjoy chatting and co-stream with people from different background, with different cultures. Some of us became offline friends and we share stories with each other. Great app if you want to look for friendships, a romantic relationship, or just chatting with people within the community.

As a guy on EME, you can send messages but you cannot see any replies unless you pay a fee. The image above on the left is an example of a guy sending a message and then received a blurred lengthy reply, the guy cannot see the message until he unlock by paying a monthly subscription. The image on the right the actual reply that was sent to the guy after he had paid to see the message.
EME is blatantly lying to its male users base by masquerading the reply to make it seem like someone had sent something lengthy to them, tricking the users into thinking the message was more important than it seem but in fact it was not. Plus one month subscription is $35.

Really impressive how Mari meets with the community every week. A number of live streamers are more interesting and accessible and less bland than other apps! Hopefully the UI will continue to encourage live-streaming in a positive way that isn’t overly full of popups and spam. My biggest hope for is to connect people as they join to streamers in a small community minded way so they aren’t lost if the streaming grows larger.

I’m a female and have so many eligible males in my inbox! Messages and ‘smiles’ from them. I wish i had more time to schedule dates honestly. EMEHive works very well for me, i used other ones before, but this is the best one so far.
I enjoyed watching and interacting with live streamers, a lot of beautiful and entertaining ones. I just love the whole concept of it! I plan on an EME group meet in my city soon hopefully.

I have met some guys on EMEHive, and i replied one of them. At first he was nice. He said that he live in Maryland but have work in Kenya now. He’s going to come back US next week. But his bank card has expired, he could not pay for the flight ticket, he could not go back home. He asked me to borrow $1500. I knew he was a scammer, but i still gave him the money, because i wish i will help him if he told the truth. Then when he was going to the airport, the immigrate officers did not let him fly because he was expired residence. He kept asking $2500 for pay fine. Scammer! Liar! Ladies should be more careful. I’m a silly and stupid girl.

EMEHive is ridiculously money hungry. If you gift someone on their streaming feature, they take 60% of what you've gifted. There has been guys REPORTED for harassing women on there, but because they don't care about harassment; only money..... they ban the girls (the victims, for speaking up...) rather than the guys..(only because they spend money). Also they charge men to be able to respond to women. How am I supposed to talk to people? Lol

I’m a paid user and has had a very bad experience with EMEHive. The first time I paid for EMEHive, I used it for six months and did not get a match. I thought back then I was unlucky and paid for another six months and did not get a match either. I really think EMEHive is a scam, taking advantage of us. It seems to me that there are many fake profiles. I hardly get any response here and have been very very frustrated. What the ad advertises is not true. I’m not rich, but I invested in this because I thought I was going to get something in return. I want my money back!!!

Kind of a pointless app tbh. There are a lot of bots for one, and as a male user you can’t message back unless you pay because “it makes girls feel more valuable and it’s for their safety.” That’s completely false as it just continues to objectify women since now you have to pay just to talk to them. Another dumb thing is you can’t link social media because guess what, EMEHive is just trying to make money so all this nonsense about guys needing to pay to chat is complete nonsense. Otherwise you would let us link social media if we wanted to.
