What is Universal Orlando Resort? The Official Universal Orlando Resort™ App is a free app that provides visitors with everything they need to plan and enjoy their trip to Universal Orlando Resort. The app offers interactive maps of the theme parks, Universal CityWalk™, and on-site resort hotels, ride wait times and show times, dining venue menus, restroom locations, and more. Visitors can also place mobile food and drink orders, get a place in the Virtual Line™ for select attractions, and use Universal Pay as a contactless payment method. The app also allows visitors to create a favorites list, set alerts for low wait times and show start times, and receive in-park notifications and location-based announcements.

Extremely impressed with the development of Universal Orlando! I went as a teenager every few years and loved it. My wife and I (28 years old) decided to make a trip to Orlando for a couple of days and stayed at one of the on-site hotels. It was amazing, having both the relaxed, hang by the pool & drink resort style vacation with the adventure & entertainment style vacation. City walk had all the great restaurants and bars we enjoy. The entire experience only gets better every time we go, and they continue to add attractions in entertainment.

Love Universal Orlando! The app...
The app has a lot of good info, maps, wait times, etc. However its wallet only works at Volcano Bay, not City Walk, Islands of Adventure, or the Studios. Also, would be awesome if you could load your annual passes to the iPhone Wallet. They're not something I generally carry around all the time. As a local that would make the spontaneous evening and weekend trips a little easier. As far as I can tell you can't associate your account to your passes at all.

This app is easy to use and right on track with the wait times for the rides and attractions. It would have been great if the app actually utilized the Notifications as we lost out on one evening in the parks because they closed 3 hours early. I checked notifications several times and even hunted down what event caused the closure, EVEN Universal’s website didn’t have a date noted for the event that we discovered was the reason. It would also be SUPER helpful if app users to post notifications - like tonight would have been great to know that the Spider Man ride was down and they didn’t know when it would be up and running. We discovered that it was a faulty car which was stuck on the track near the end (we saw it as we left without going on the ride). Other than that the app was great to use.
