Night Camera: Low light photos Reviews

I use seven (7) camera apps. NightCamera is my go-to camera, for evening, night or dark spaces. The intuitive user interface assists in capturing moments that can be gone, in the amount of time that it takes to capture the image. The difference is also understood, by visualizing the difference between recalling a great image from memory and being able to have an photograph of the moment. A moment that you can return and relive on-demand. That said, this camera is the complete package for taking great tableau shots or an elegant night scenes replete with the crispness of bright city lights.

I have purchased several low light and camera apps. This one is much simpler to use and enables you to take photos much quicker. Easy interface and the low light filters work quite well although with fewer features from lite version. Would be very nice if they added option to use another device to view camera view and use as a remote shutter so I can allow shutter to sit and adjust without having to screen capture button or volume button, which causes a little movement and decreases photo quality while taking by hand. But is very good app.

I wanted NightCamera to work. I read reviews and compared it to other apps and I wanted NightCamera to work. I thought “I have a brand new iPad Pro with 512gb of memory. Surely with all of the quality photo and video apps available now I should be able to offload some of my workload to it.”

I really wanted NightCamera to work but it was in fact a colossal fail.

Please don’t walk but rather run away from this obviously flawed application if you have an iPad Pro and are running iOS 12.3.x. Again I wanted it to work and I thank my stars that it only cost me 99 cents and about 2 hours of checking and rechecking that the issues weren’t on my end of the equation. :(

NightCamera is the best I have used thus far. It is completely insane to see how in a dark dark room without adequate lighting your pictures will turn out bright and clear! They look like great shots. They do not look like you took the pictures with a phone running a night vision app that makes everything look green.

NightCamera wouldn’t start when offline, I thought it was insistence on serving the ad but it was just a bug. The ads are through Google and they collect a seemingly excessive amount of data like location and usage, as well as using cookies and other fingerprinting. I don’t think I’ll be using this version anymore but I appreciate the dev for fixing the bug.

For a night camera this is one of the best I've found out there and it's free, well sorta free.... Tempted to pay the three dollars just to get rid of the annoying adds. I guess just like everything else in life, nothing's really ever free is it? We end up paying one way or another, so might as well pay for self convenience.

I have an iPhone 6s Plus and had only been using it for a couple days and i am very satisfied with it
It takes a little bit of times to get used to all the different fonctions.
I am considering using NightCamera as my default camera I have taken daytime pictures with NightCamera and result is pretty spectacular.

NightCamera does let you increase the brightness further than the default camera app does while taking a picture

NightCamera works great! It’s not night vision but it at least brings up the bright sensitivity so a small light such as a lighter or flashlight, which is provided with app also, lights up the whole area. I’m currently working on a project and this is perfect for it! Thank you for NightCamera!

Excited to use NightCamera and started taking pictures in low light.
When I went to look at them, I could not locate them anywhere on my phone or NightCamera .
Sent numerous emails asking if there’s a setting I needed to do or something but I have never received a reply.
I will change review if and when things change and I can actually see the pictures I have been taking.

I can’t believe how well NightCamera takes pictures. In a complete dark you this still takes good picture. Thank you to the developer.

Great camera cause on my iPhone I'm not able to zone in on anything,and noe I can with this camera especially when at a party at night I'm able to take pictures not clearly thN with the regular one the iPhone has!!Very impressed!!

Only gave it three stars because settings included a 99 cent option to remove ads, I paid it, yet still have an ad shoved in my face every time upon starting NightCamera .

Very good for taking dark pics. Free and takes as good quality pictures as you’d expect for an iPhone camera in the dark. Would definitely recommend

A little hard to understand but takes excellent pics

Wow NightCamera is amazing! it actually really works you can practically see in pitch black dark and take pictures NightCamera is definitely five stars and to be free too? it’s amazing!!

It crashed few times maybe because i have iPhone 6 (16 GB)but it's was really impressive didn't expect that

Tried them all...most all other apps only allow you to apply color filters. NightCamera is the closest to true “night vision” hands down!

I'm trying out NightCamera today for the eclipse. I have used it before with great results of lunar shots. So I'm so excited to see what shots I will capture today. Give it a "shot"😃 I think you'll enjoy it.

So I am writing this review before even really trying anything because I can't see anything with the review box in the way. Should at least give you an opportunity to try it before you have to write one. I'm sure it's a great app hopefully I'll find out soon
