Avatan – Photo Editor Reviews

I absolutely LOVE Avatan and I have to say that it is one of my all time favorites!! The things keeping me from rating it 5 stars are the brush, eraser, and sticker features. I think you should be able to change the size of the eraser and brush. It would make it A LOT easier to erase the things you want without over erasing or under erasing, and same with the brush. Onto the stickers, I think being able to erase part of the stickers would be nice too! As well as being able to stretch the sticker (like making it narrow/ skinny). Over all Avatan is absolutely AMAZING and worth downloading! I hope you consider my suggestion!!

I wish I could give it ZERO STARS!! This user to be my favorite image editor...Before this very bad update and changes. It was so easy to use and I didn't have to be part of a social network in order to use Avatan . It is unbelievably and totally useless now!!! Why did you ever ruin such a great digital editing app!?!?!? I'm going somewhere else...unless you restore it back to the original this app 😩

Why barge in ads every other second?
I understand nothing is free but this is not way you try to make money. You are torturing the users and even if they want to be converted into paid ones they won’t eventually.
Let them use and explore the features for a couple of days before you attempt to make him pay. Be professional!!

I love Avatan I use it all the time, wish you could edit videography though

I really love Avatan, very much but lately when I try to use some of its features it shuts down and crashes. It’s starting to get very frustrating and I’m not to sure how to fix this issue. I can’t even use some of the filters or effects others have made.

Every single time you go to edit a photo you are guaranteed to get 2 30 seconds long ads and it honestly has gotten to a point where I want to delete Avatan and go back to VSCO. Really makes Avatan hard to enjoy.

It’s so good it really helps your photos look better

I used to LOVE Avatan. It worked great minus the ad’s. Now for whatever reason when I go to save my photos an ad just comes on and won’t stop. I’m super frustrated. I wish I could just pay for Avatan . I hope they fix this.

Pleaseee I cannot take the ads after every step. It’s damaging to the user experience. I understand ads are necessary for revenue but this many is frustrating

Too many ads for just a editor picture, every time I click something while editing I ALWAYS get a ads it’s so annoying why can’t y’all just add 1 add !?

They are showing ads still when you pay for a subscription. Like what is the point in paying to still be shown ads? Avatan used to be good. Deleted.

Majority of the effects work but, some effects won’t load on too the picture I uploaded and make Avatan crash and kick me off Avatan !!!!!!!

I really love everything about Avatan but the saving resolution is just too low! To have an app that is taken seriously as a real iPhone editors app you must offer the option to save in higher resolution...or at least in original resolution. Please take the time to upgrade this issue since you've already put so much effort into creating this awesome app! I really would use the heck out if it!! And recommend it to many others! That'll make it a 5 star app in my opinion!

I've been using Avatan for years now and loved it. Then Avatan updated and Avatan I once knew and loved was all together gone and this social editor was in its place. If the social editor actually worked I might be ok with the sudden change, but it's highly complicated, not user friendly in the least and has lost the best features the original app had to begin with. I'm so disappointed with this experience I made sure to review Avatan. In fact, this is the first review I've written for any app ever. Seriously...don't waste your time or effort. Otherwise you'll be the next one in line to write a review similar to mine.

I don't write many reviews but Avatan deserves one! Spent many years using Photoshop but just needed something quick and easy for basic touch ups...
This is so easy to use and integrates wonderfully with iPhone Photos and Dropbox.
Only have one suggestion (so far)! It would be nice to be able to change the size of the brush and eraser.

Avatan has some awesome features that I absolutely love... However, my main irritation is that I can't see the progress of the feature I'm using until AFTER I accept the changes. I used to be able to see the changes/updates as I made them. I'm constantly having to redo my edits because either I didn't do enough, way too much, or completely missed the area I was trying to target. I have an iPhone 6+. Please update.
