Camfrog: Live Cam Video Chat Reviews

Camfrog is horrible! Illegal criminal activity is going on this application. Lots of racism, hate crimes, people are exposing personal information of users, pedophiles talking to minors and having sexual activity with them.
Camfrog is very dangerous so please be very careful what you say or what you give out to people because these people are not your friends they are enemies and they will do everything they can to be mean to you or bully you or harass you or take any information you’ve given them and spread it to other users in the room. I’m a witness I’ve seen a lot of bad things happen on this program and I want no part of it so I am leaving the program and giving this program a one star because there is no moderators to stop all the hate crime and the evil wickedness for some of the users that need to be highly monitored for a legal activity. Hopefully somebody turns this program to the FBI and they investigate because this program needs to be shut down or else policies and moderators need to be more aware and monitor the program.

Why why why do you keep overlooking or missing broken functionality? I am an original user and current user ToddOp and I should be given the opportunity to help with your “quality control“. These iOS apps updates should go through me before they are approved. I’m offering that. Some of you know me including Pap, Marky and other originals dating back to 2004. I’m also an original adopter of iOS starting 2012.

These two problems I see immediately:

1. Your recent update on IOS prevents Messages from being cleared from the message tab window. The three vertical dots are missing. I see somebody’s name that I don’t recall clicking on to IM and I can’t remove it and there’s no text.

2. In the main chat window, texting in main chat no longer have their name clickable to reveal a menu that allows you to view/open their camera. It’s impossibly ridiculous to make somebody go through the entire room list to click on somebody’s name to open their cam when you see they’re participating in the main chat text window with the room. You need to reduce the amount of clicks somebody has to do to be able to open somebody’s cam. Not have a secondary menu open a CAM which are missing now with this update. Why did they disappear?

User for a long time on mobile and I’ll just make a quick list in order, immediate changes that should be made priority fixes to Camfrog .

Fix mobile webcams, last update made them not work

Turning off broadcaster notifications DOES NOT WORK. The spam is terrible. Forced notifications will not make people want to use the broadcast feature at all.

Gift sounds still play when phones on silent mode, old update use to mute this sound and simply vibrate. That noise is obnoxious when on the microphone talking and the sound keeps going off at high volume through the mic.

I have been refusing to buy pro for these current issues with the iOS app.

I know your focus is heavily on broadcasts currently to compete with other cam apps but you are neglecting the bread and butter that makes your app stand out from the rest and that’s the major rooms with massive amounts of people that got your program to where it is today.

I’ve been a this app user for a long time but this new updated version for the iPhone is wack they made it so you can’t even see the (time) when your in a room and the layout is just weird in general don’t get me wrong the this app app is nothing like the pc version. Y’all this app developers need to look into this. How are you going to have the tab bar at the top of your screen in a room blocking right over where it displays the time

I purchased 25k coins. And it didn’t count when I was trying to purchase again. It says item has already been bought and will be restored. It’s been an hour now and still nothing. Please help

When will this app be available for MAC?
It’s been “promised” for a very long time and still nothing. I loved the rooms I was active in for years, but recently made the switch to a MAC & no longer have access to Camfrog . Was this chat platform bought out by Microsoft because once there was actually a MAC version. Just kidding on that but seriously, stop saying a version is coming soon when it clearly is NOT.

The latest update does not allow your cam to load for others users to view. This is happening to other users with iPhones well as I have confirmed with them. A very small handful of rooms my iPhone cam will load but not most. I’m running the latest iOS 12.4.1. Please fix this issue.

Camfrog is easily 5 stars, however, I will only be giving it 4 stars because recently, the notifications stopped working so I am missing out on some of my favorite broadcasters.

UPDATE: Sooo I have to pay to broadcast? That makes no sense... I hate that too because I really wanted to give Camfrog a chance... guess I’ll be uninstalling & going to another app that lets me broadcast for free.

My first review & initial issue was the fact I kept getting live notifications from ppl I wasn’t even following & even with that feature turned off I was still getting notifications.

if Answer a Phone call i can’t hear this app again

The new update has completely ruined Camfrog . IF you can get Camfrog to open you will not see messages that was sent when app wasn’t opened. The new call layout is horrible and have to keep switching from cam to chat if you can’t hear each other. Camfrog crashes constantly.

The basic function of Camfrog no longer works on IOS and hasn’t for some weeks. Do not expect to be seen by anyone as your cam won’t work. It appears the developers have zero interest in fixing it. Apple should just remove it from Camfrog Store to be honest. Do Not waste your time.

I can’t use it on ipad. Some days works. Paid for a year and can’t use it because this app hates apple OS. They should fix it or at least give me my money back. this app used to ba bad. Now is terrible. Now they come here trying to look helpful, like if i didnt talked to them already.

Can no longer login to CF with my password and now since the update it says password must only contain numbers and letters but yet the password I've used for like 15 years has special characters and now I can't login.... thanks!

Camfrog is Awesome but, when I get notifications About messages and I'm not in Camfrog . If I click Camfrog the messages the notification said I had will all disappear:( . Not Good. But other than that I love it!!! Plz fix

I had great difficulties setting up a nick name and setting up a PW. After I had them setup the pw worked the first time, but when I logged back in it didn’t work the second time. I had trouble resetting the PW. So far it’s the most user unfriendly app I’ve used.

Works pretty well.

Sometimes acts like the main this app room requires users to be registered even to type in chat.

Most of my issues have to do with connection speed rather than Camfrog itself.

Can't get a real answer anywhere else: is any actually working on the Mac OS X version? It hasn't been updated in more than four years.

Please put a feature where the top cams don’t auto open when I enter a room. I do not like this feature as often it auto opens things I do not wish to see.

Updates don’t improve anything, just add more advertisements. Can’t turn off annoying aound effects in chats, can’t auto mute awful music. Still has a bug with showing the wrong cam on the wrong person. Browsing for cams is a pain. Terrible design overall. Avoid!

So someone reached out to me via email to setup an account and I do only to find out it’s a livestream app that makes broadcasters pay to upgrade? Lol what? Why would I bring my audience here from another platform that doesn’t charge me?

Thinking this is a mobile thing but ever since I updated Camfrog recently my camera will not work in rooms, paying for something I can’t use, what a rip off
