MixerBox BFF: Location Tracker Reviews

It is truly amazing to see that MixerBoxBFF is doing its best to replace Zenly! I especially loved Zenly because of being able to see where I have been and where my friends are. The only thing I really hope is added to MixerBoxBFF in the future is the Zenly feature that allows you to track your progress in areas to see exactly where you have been. Other than that, MixerBoxBFF looks amazing and I suggest downloading it if you like Zenly!

MixerBoxBFF is cool, albeit lacking many of the features of MixerBoxBFF it’s meant to replace. However I do have an issue I’d like to address with the developer. I have too many friends on this application. The application completely freezes upon launch. Every time I relaunch, it’s the same story. I’d imagine that as of yet, we’re not supposed to have friends lists that reach into the hundreds, but many of MixerBoxBFF’s early adopters are part of the furry fandom and will add just about anyone with a furry profile picture. Be prepared for this complaint to be echoed in other reviews.

Seems to be a good zenly replacement but for some reason I cannot see my added friends on the map anywhere… not sure why but hopefully the support people will contact me soon.. I sent them a question couple days ago an they responded that it may take a while to get back to me… 🤔

This application is, as stated, a disaster. It tells me that I must always share my location to participate. I click “Edit” in order to change settings. It proceeds to tell me what I’ve already been told. I can’t progress further. I can’t log-in. I, therefore, can’t access settings. I, therefore, can’t change settings. I can’t even access application support for assistance. One must apparently obtain a degree in information technology to work the application. I have not, nor do I wish to. I’m done. I’ve wasted enough time. I’m deleting the application upon finishing here. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

MixerBoxBFF seems to be slow and laggy when u move it around and the color of the map looks off I suggest to the Developers to fix those which will make MixerBoxBFF better and to delete the notch on the top that blank which makes MixerBoxBFF feel smaller thanks.

It is great to see a well made app coming after zenly is off. Sign in and added my friends excitedly. Great UI. However, I dont see my friend's location on the map, even though she is already on my friend list. The search button did not work as well.

Love bff locations but at the same time it is slow on uploading any locations that I wanna view and I’ve updated MixerBoxBFF to see if that works cuz sometimes that be the issue but it wasn’t the issue of updating MixerBoxBFF but I will still be using MixerBoxBFF

I used to use Zenly then switched to BFF after Zenly was gone.

At first there were no adds. Recently there are ads on edge of the screen all the time!!! What’s worse, when you are typing the ads will automatically move to the center of your screen. They forced you to watch the ads every second!!! I accidentally clicked on them many times which leads me to Safari and various wired websites.

They even don’t offer the option to pay to remove ads!!! Worst app ever!!!👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Love MixerBoxBFF so far, but I’m on iOS and everything is up to date. I see I’m not the only one with this issue but I can’t see friends I’ve added. We both have each other added but only I show up on the map on my screen.

UI is great for only 2 months of development. I see the potential already! One thing I enjoyed from Zenly was the ability to see how many times your location has been viewed! I’m not sure if that would be feasible, but I miss that.

A great app! After zenly, bff is my next partner. But the only issue that slows the process is using email for registration instead of phone number. Hope developer can change to verify with phone number instead.

Great app like zenly just need little improvements but it will improve little by little. The community need to understand its free app and they are not getting money and investing money in MixerBoxBFF from their pockets so maybe stop complaining using a free app and leaving bad reviews.

MixerBoxBFF has many great features, and it seems to be working for most people. But whenever I enter MixerBoxBFF , it will freeze and then force quit after 5 seconds. I thought it was a problem with my phone, but MixerBoxBFF still isn’t working on my new phone. It’s a bit frustrating. I would just ask the devs/staff for assistance, but I haven’t found a solid place to contact them. Does anyone know what my problem could be?

MixerBoxBFF is pretty decent overall but during the update that you guys are going to add. Could you please update to where you can see other people’s profile picture. Coz you know some people like me would like to check out people’s profile pictures😂

It would be great zently Replacment but all is does is lag and crash. Every menu or option click takes 30sec-1min before MixerBoxBFF reacts and it’s a crap shoot if it works or crashes. Adding every new friend is a 1min process and really would like they performance issues resolved before adding new features. It would be 4-5 star if the performance issue wasn’t there.

It’s got a long ways to go before it’s a replacement to Zenly. Lots of stuff are labeled conning soon. Performance is a little underwhelming. Lot of glitches. But the potential is definitely there and I hope to see the developers remain dedicated to making it the best!

I think it's not enough to add an inscription from the top to this application when I'm at home, then let the inscription from the top be "At Home" , otherwise the person will not understand where he is at work or at home

MixerBoxBFF is very close to Zenly and has few features that Zenly had. I wish to have more features in this such as emojis. Can’t wait to for it 😍

Hey I do enjoy the map, but whenever I get a lot of people adding me, MixerBoxBFF keeps freezing for many hours. I need you guys to fix it because I updated it twice and it’s still freezing.

I really like BFF so far, even in its unfinished form. I know the improvements that can be/are being made that will improve the apps functionality even more, which makes me excited to stick around and see what gets added/improved next. I’ve used Zenly since early 2019, and was devastated to hear about its shutdown (MixerBoxBFF will stay on my phone as a memorial until I replace it). And I think BFF is doing a great job so far being a worthy replacement for it. My friends are already connected, and we’re glad that it was as seamless as Zenly. Can’t wait for future updates and thank you for keeping up that unique vibe that Zenly always had. It’s hard to replicate!

Look I understand you were looking for a zenly replacement after Snapchat shut it down, but MixerBoxBFF ain’t it. Maybe in the beginning but MixerBoxBFF now way to buggy where I have to restart it 4-5 times to even get it to show me anything in the beginning and asked you pay $72-$192 a year to access a lot of features. When Jagat which was started by old zenly devs has all and more futures then BFF and is way more closer looking to Zenly then MixerBoxBFF ever will be. Sorry but maybe if you did want to start charging people money I would of wrote a better review. BFF DEVS DO BETTER! Or I do see Jagat taking over and you guys going out of business since you want to paywall most features which were free on zenly and free on Jagat. Smh
