Uni would be awesome if you didn’t have to pay for a subscription. Just look at how successful tinder and bumble are, free with limited swipes. You can pay for a subscription to get unlimited swipes and see who likes you... Update?

Uni is completely horrible, I joined it and within the first couple days all I had were bots talking to me. I never had not one real person chat with me, they were all set up programs to communicate with you, once I realized after awhile that they are truly just programs talking to you and not people I realize it is not an app for me to ingest money into, I requested for my money back after a few days on the site. I’ve send maybe eight emails to this company requesting a refund, they said they were reply to me within 24 hours all eight times... never got back to me. So if I could put a half star for Uni I would. Don’t get this unless you want to be scammed and lose your money. If you did put money into this already, kiss it goodbye. Absolutely an horrible experience here, horrible.

Uni forces you to pay for membership to utilize basic features like seeing messages sent to you and responding. Conveniently, when ever I put my alternate points of contact in my bio, or even photoshopped into my profile pic, it mysteriously gets deleted. I honestly feel like Uni is designed to target military personnel and it’s not worth your time. Call me a conspiracy theorist but I’m pretty sure you are supposed to get a lot of attention at first, getting you to buy the membership, and then all of a sudden the traffic would come to a grinding halt. In fact, that’d make sense as to why my alternate points of contact (snap chat & instagram) keep getting deleted. The almost instant results are just moderators. Don’t waste your time with this garbage app.

It’s literally a waste of time. Everything you have to pay for to even enjoy the application. For the settings and the search criteria don’t save once you leave the settings page, it goes back to its default choices/settings. You can’t message or see messages unless you pay for it. The only thing that is free about this application is downloading it, other than that you have to pay for everything. Even then it does a whole lot of nothing. Save your money and time on something that will actually be of use to you. If I valued give it a negative rating I would.

Okay so I got Uni just to see what it was about. I just did a free account, because I didn’t intend to keep the profile or app. Anyways, I looked at it for 5-10 minutes before I was ready to get rid of it. THERE IS NO WAY TO REMOVE YOUR ACCOUNT ANYWHERE. After multiple searches on google, it seems the only way to remove an account with them is calling their support center from 3pm-11pm central standard time. On top of that, there is NO privacy settings so people from literally any/every where can see my profile and like/message me which creeps me out. Will be calling ASAP tomorrow. I do NOT recommend this at all.

So I’ve been swiping through the girls you know and when I liked one they text me right away. After awhile they always say oops gotta go or talk to you later. That’s all of them ladies say on there. But noooo they don’t respond. I say how’s it going miss. They ignore me and I try to be nice etc etc but nope I’m not good enough. There is something fishy about Uni. If I were you gentleman don’t ever get a dating app cause when I was on a dating app I thought a girl was real I got hurt really bad mentally but nope she took my $300 and she’s a f$&ken pornstar. Like WOW what a scammer. Soooo I’m done with dating apps what yaaaa say men are you with me.

I got contacted by two handsome men both from abroad.....the first one we texted each other and he even called me but after about a few weeks he was hitting me up for money or to buy him this very expensive app so I let that go.....then the second guy we’ve been communicating for about a month daily and now tonite asking me for my bank info.....don’t use this site I believe it’s a scam

I have paid for the apps. But why is it that when ever I tried to open my account the apps will be loading and still. I results. No results in the sense that it's does not open again what kind of dating site is this whilst I have paid for

The cost of Uni is considerably higher than any other dating app out there! On top of that the selection of people is not that great! $20 for 7 days of use??!! And if you don’t pay you can’t read or send messages, view more than one photo on a profile or see who liked you. So you can literally do nothing! Also, trying to delete your profile is a nightmare! I had to send a message and am waiting to hear back. I decided to delete all of my photos and info. This is the worst dating site ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don’t bother downloading Uni, you’ll be over it within 5 minutes. You have to pay to just see a message sent to you and apparently there are a lot of them until you actually pay. Then the traffic stops. Weirdos from all over the place can just contact you out of nowhere and usually they’re not even in uniform. No privacy, no way to remove your account, $20 for a 7 day trial (lol)... stick to tinder or bumble or whatever has actually worked for you.

It’s in really bad Spanglish and you gotta pay to do anything other than set up your profile and I’ve taken 12 selfies which i, as a millennial, don’t actually do. Every photo including clear pics of me from a photo shoot were taken down. It has lots of bug issues. Overall waste of time cause it’s all civilians over 40 even with filters and only found one other service member but can’t get in contact bc Uni is dumb

Do not. I repeat. DO NOT DOWNLOAD Uni. It forces you to pay to even message users. You will be contacted by bots relentlessly. There is ZERO screening process for keeping spam and bots off Uni . Uni functionality is awful. It forces you to crop pictures in a very wide aspect ratio, but then displayed the picture on your account in a tall aspect ratio, leading to very awkward zooming in the photo that ends up cutting half your face out of the picture anyways. Save yourself the time and effort and pass up on this one!

Literally the same as tinder. But. It doesn’t work. Nothing loads. Doesn’t tell you what is the free portion of Uni . Just automatically takes you to the “pay to play” and I don’t have time for that. Stick with tinder or coffee meets bagel. At least you have some way of communicating with people with those. Instead of whenever trying to send a message you are redirected to the “subscribe” page.

Uni is ridiculously expensive can’t view anyone’s pictures without paying 20$ I’m sorry but none of the people on there are attractive or worth paying 20$ to look at a picture of them half naked. You also can’t delete your profile, so once you’re on there you’re on there unless you call the support center or whatever. Don’t waste your time unless your depressed and have no self esteem

I decided to try this and actually paid the $40 for one month. Big mistake. There are a lot of fake profiles and scammers. Just as many of not more than the free dating apps. None of the profiles show what type of profession they have and this is supposed to be a site for professional people who wear uniforms. I don’t think anyone on here has uniform profession. I haven’t met a real person yet. Very disappointed.
