I love Shoppylist! I literally agree with a majority of what the poster below me stated. Shoppylist is awesome. I love the ability to customize with icons. Makes it very personal! Maybe if you could add some upgrades like a slide to assure item was purchased and a vibration when moving items in different categories. Only because the list is very sensitive and if you accidentally touch the item it shows as purchased. Regardless, again fantastic app and great one time price! I’m looking forward to interface with my husbands Apple Watch! Thanks again!

I just did my first round of list-making and shopping with Shoppylist and it’s pretty great! Very easy to set up and use. I love how easy it is to make and order categories so it fits your grocery store’s layout. I like the simple, clean list format too.

I wish there was a “checkout” function so you can remove things from the list but leave anything that the store didn’t have for next time. I used the hide purchased items function but that’s a little awkward. Need a checkout button.

Great app and I’ll be upgrading to Pro.

I was shocked what all this application has to offer for free. This is a fine tuned shopping list that provided all the necessary features. Multiple list, easy template creations. A breeze to use as well as custom themes. There is an InApp purchase of 6.99 to be able to backup and sync. That I feel is a tad high but the application is well designed. Definitely worth a try. Developer provides fast responses.

Siding gestures to mark items done would be great
Adding some cool sounds when marking items complete and adding new ones.

I love the theme choices, wish theme would carry over to home screen icon.

Please add force touch quick actions to homescreen icon. Currently u just see widget. Would be nice if quick actions allowed you to add items within a list selected.

Also add the gentle vibrate when drag items for manually sort and marking items complete.

I have been using Shoppylist for about 2 weeks now, and have fallen in love with it!! it’s well worth the $4.99 (one time fee).You can even have it right on your Today screen which helps alot. and it syncs to icloud which is awesome!! I don’t have to worry about loosing my lists, if or when I upgrade my phone.. you can make your lists “add items”-“ delete items”- “change items”etc. Shoppylist is Everything I was looking for, I also agree it would be great also to have it be available with Siri shortcuts. I totally give Shoppylist 5 stars!!!!

And I have tried many, including Bring!, Grocery, AnyList, and Grocery Gadget (which served me well until they basically stopped new features). this app does everything I need, is available on most my devices (sadly, no Mac app). It is beautiful and easy to use with lots of room for customization. For only $2 you can remove the adds or keep them as they don’t really get in the way. So happy I found Shoppylist!

Shoppylist could be very useful if one big change was made. When you check items off of your list, the item should stay on the list but be crossed out. The item should be able to be recovered if you mistakenly touch it. The very first time I used it, I was using it with my phone locked. By mistake I touched an item before I had even gotten started, and bam the item was gone. I had to open Shoppylist in my unlocked phone to put the item back in.

Exactly, it could be the same on the Lock Screen. If I accidentally touch the item it is gone. I would prefer it to change color and sort to the bottom and be recoverable.

When my prior grocery app was no longer supported, I downloaded and tried 6 or 8 apps to choose a replacement. If you’re like me and prefer to work from a complete database of products, Shoppylist is the best - most complete and easy to use. Also easy to add items to tailor the DB to those products specific to your purchasing. I was distraught when my prior app disappeared; now I’m really happy and satisfied that I was forced to migrate to this app.

If you hunt long enough you will find this gem! This one uses the model of actually creating a grocery shopping list from an existing database that you have customized for your own needs. I want to: (1) create a list at home of only items I plan to purchase (2) check-off those items as I go through the aisles (3) have the aisles in a custom order. Shoppylist allows for this approach. Thank you to the developer!!!

Shoppylist works exactly as advertised and exactly how I wanted my grocery list app to behave. There are SOOO MANY grocery list apps on Shoppylist store and I think I've tried nearly all of them, almost always erasing within minutes of opening them. All the others are either counterintuitive, crash constantly/abandoned, or just plain ugly. this app is none of those things - it's rugged, updated regularly, and beautiful. Thanks, Dev! ♥️

I've had Shoppylist for some time now, but hadn't really used it as I was using Google Keep. I decided to reduce my dependence on Google, so tried Shoppylist out. I even decided to pay for the Pro version. There were a couple small issues (due to my own ignorance) so I sent them to the developer. He answered very promptly, gave instructions to solve my problems, and now everything works fine. It is a very useful app and I enjoy using it.

Developer, how can I make the list a full list on Ththe screen for easier reading? Many items and item descriptions are overlapped. When I use items with filled description , the descrion and number of item got blank. I have to type again. Is it possible to retain typed description when I re-use the items?

I’ve been using Shoppylist dry often,my favorite for years. I have low vision and send list to my helper to shop grocery and other stores.

Where is search icon on the main page? It’s for finding misplaced items.

I want to be happy and continue using this great app. Thank you for fixing bugs and making this accessible for lowvision users.

I took time to edit the default categories and items to match our usual store. It adapts easily. I add items to my list either by typing in the name or by going through the categories and tapping each item. It is fast and easy. Since we shop as a family, I don’t need sharing or emailing lists. This is exactly what I wanted.

I like having a shopping list on my phone. What I don’t like it needing to type in a password every time I want to see it because I’m wearing a mask, and Face ID doesn’t work. Having this on my widget screen (when you swipe right instead of up on the Lock Screen) is a godsend. Glad I found it!

The developer was very smart with Shoppylist. The functions are very straight forward and focused. This has allowed them to get the interface and design to be amazing. I wish more developers would take this kind of approach and focus all efforts on a single purpose and make it the best it can be. Love the new dark modes and iCloud sync.

Love Shoppylist because it’s simple and straight forward, even a 3 year old can navigate through Shoppylist . That is how simplistic Shoppylist is. I started out with 3 different apps and when I began using this one, I deleted the other two immediately! A must have, especially for Senior Citizens! FYI -This critique was written by a Senior Citizen! 😇

I really like Shoppylist but there are a couple things that keep it from meriting 5 stars. First and foremost, it keeps losing items I add to a list! As in I put it on the list, tap done, exit Shoppylist and the next day it’s gone completely. Extremely annoying. Second, it refuses to stay in alphabetical order so I’m constantly having to resort it. I would love it if it there was an option to auto alphabetize always!

this app is a wonderful app which I use every day. When I think of something I need at the grocery store or farmers market it goes on the list quick and easy. At the store, everything is easy to find. App is updated regularly. Highly recommend.

After building it over time it is really the best. Hope i can add items from the Watch app in the future, but other than that Awesome work. Super super and fully fully featured with simple gui. I recommend to upgrade to Pro Version.

I used the free version for quite a while. I just upgraded to the Pro version (it’s only $1.99) and I’m glad that I did. As I get older, it is a HUGE help. I just add the item that I need to whatever store I’m going to and I never forget anything. It’s a great tool.

I am looking for a new grocery shopping app and have been experimenting with Shoppy List. It’s pretty good but takes a little work to add in items not listed in categories.

I would really find it useful to have a second line for item descriptions. (for Name brands, size, etc.). When using the iPhone, the single line gets cut off from view when adding very much of a description, (along with quantity or price). The iPad version has more space on the line but I don’t shop with my iPad.

Such as:
1 Old El Paso Green Chilies x4
2 Diced, Mild, 4oz

Hope this can be included in future updates.

Simple, fairly basic, without a lot of unwanted and unneeded extra junk in the way. Multiple lists, stores, unlimited items. Wonderful. The watch app makes it that much better. Leave my phone in my pocket and mark items off on the watch so I’m not laying my phone down somewhere to get things off the shelf. I’ve tried a lot of shopping apps and lists and this is by far the best and easiest to use.

I like it a lot, but would love it if you would somehow include a way to keep track of the prices and add then total prices. That would help those on a fixed budget. Maybe the ability to scan item as you choose them, to get prices. Then a “Total” button. Also with calculating abilities.

This is a super app. New update adds some great features. Very much enjoy being able to share with my spouse so we can collaborate the grocery list. Highly recommend.

Update: 👍🏼 for iCloud. On further reflection, I think the new features are worth $4.99. The developer is responsive and has to make a living. This is much preferred over the subscription model — sold!

...so, until then my rating is 3+. With iCloud sync, Shoppylist is a strong 4+
Feature request: SiriKit integration!

The interface is good, well designed and fast to manage list. A great shame is not to have iCloud sync and sharing. Sharing by eMail or Message is not really a good option, must as a bandaid.
I was debating between a two or three starts. Hope next update make Shoppylist a most have. Now is limited
