What is LDOCE InApp?

The Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English is a learner's dictionary that is available as an iPhone/iPod touch application. It is a paid app that requires an InApp purchase to activate the dictionary. The app is fully updated and comes with an integrated Thesaurus and Collocations Dictionary. It is the largest resource of English available on any mobile platform, with over 20GB of audio online. The app features 230,000 words, phrases, and meanings, 165,000 examples based on real, natural English, 10,000 encyclopedic entries, and 5,000 verb conjugation tables. It also has clear definitions, register notes, and grammar and warning notes to help users avoid common errors.
