How to fix Duolingo app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Duolingo app on iPhone
Update Duolingo app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Duolingo iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Duolingo on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Duolingo network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Duolingo Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Duolingo not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Duolingo App
1. On android, goto Settings » Duolingo » click [Force Stop]

Update Duolingo to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Duolingo App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Duolingo » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Duolingo.

Fix Duolingo unable to contact server/ Duolingo internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Duolingo » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Duolingo » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
