Voice Recorder & Memos Pro Reviews

This may be the most flexible and user-friendly recorder I've used on mobile! I mainly use VoiceRecorderMemosPro with garageband to save audio, and it's the best one i came across. I expected it to be awful, but it proved otherwise. It also converts audio files, so that's a lovely cherry on top.

EDIT, 2019: Yeah uhh, the thing i liked about VoiceRecorderMemosPro was that it didnt have any sudden video ads poppin up. But now that i updated VoiceRecorderMemosPro , i became greatly disappointed. Because i really like VoiceRecorderMemosPro, its the best one out there. But that wont change a thing about how i use VoiceRecorderMemosPro though. Im just gonna buy the ads off❤️

I’m trying to learn a new foreign language, so I record CD audio tracks that accompany my language lesson work books. The only thing I’ve been looking for is something that I can listen to with a variable jump back tool. This does the trick for me. Now that I’ve been using it for a little bit, there are two things I think would come in real handy. 1) since I don’t need all the other editor tools, I wonder if you could allow payment on a small scale, say like $3, to eliminate adds entirely but not have the extra features. 2) could you build in a function for highlighting a select portion of a given audio track for which there would be an option to play on a continuous loop?

This Free recording app was perfect for me. I could record songs and playback with a mix function. I used it all the time. Then VoiceRecorderMemosPro was rebooted to this pay app. Many of the functions were gone. Like the playback feature. You can playback one song at a time now. Very frustrating for me. I record songs. I like to listen to my recording at work. Offline. Without the mix playback feature VoiceRecorderMemosPro is useless to me. And the ads were crazy. Couldn’t use a function without an ad playing first. Against my better judgement, I laid down my money to buy a subscription. There are still ads on my phone so when I touch play and miss, I’m now on some website I don’t want to be on. And still no mix playback. I feel like your a bunch of criminals. The original free app was way better than this one which I will not be paying for one more month.

I love the ease of recording and playback. Since the update, I have been unable to create folders for storing similar types of recordings. The biggest drawback is I can’t get the recordings off my phone. Even the zipped files are too large to email and they don’t sync with my computer when I back up my phone. I’m getting a new phone and don’t want to lose important recordings. Wifi sharing doesn’t work with my chromebook either. Please help!

Update: developer contacted me and told me to create a new folder lower right corner button. I have an iPhone 6. There isn’t a button there. My screenshot doesn’t look like the one in VoiceRecorderMemosPro store either- one less tab on top. Battery near dead on phone and can’t be replaced until I back up 12GB of recordings

Your app is the best out there at the moment, but that doesn’t mean the competition is poor, there’s a lot of other good apps like this for a lot less money...
I record audio with my watch very often so I justified my purchase, but there’s people out there who only use it occasionally and might go with one of the other ones instead because yours is very steeply priced.
If you drop the price a little you’ll have a ton more takers...

Lost 1 star b/c I can’t seem to find a tutorial or a somewhat helpful FAQ that would in, overall, make using this product just that much more smoother plus less time efficient.
But DON’T get me wrong in any which ever way- this is a very user-friendly APP (it actually may take less than 5min to get fully adapted!).
I’m referring to ‘insider knowledge’, hacks- if you may, in general The Easy Peasy’s developers often make that the consumer has to read through much of this & that to acquire some of those previously mentioned developer goods.

I’m a youtuber with 130k+ subs and I usually record in computer because I can’t find good free apps to record my voice while recording video, also I pause A LOT whenever I talk and there is a really cool feature that VoiceRecorderMemosPro comes with. It’s where you can make it so it cuts out the parts you’re being quiet! I usually take long exhausting hours to cut out those parts but with VoiceRecorderMemosPro I don’t have to suffer anymore THANK YOU! 😭😭

The UX of VoiceRecorderMemosPro is just horrible, but honestly, there is a difference in the quality of recorded audio (in my case quick guitar pieces). I would buy right now but for the life of me WHERE ARE THE EDIT CONTROLS? The tiny music note which appears in only certain scenarios (cannot identify as of yet) appears to become active on tap, and then what? No quick note or help found anywhere to direct me to the edit interface? Can support respond to this, it’s so frustrating. I’m happy to change this rating to a 5 if I can access this area.

I was looking for a recorder that is capable of recording while other apps are playing and after trying several this one fits the bill. Great sound quality. I love the timer feature and that it only plays when there’s a sound which means I can turn on the recorder and tune into a conference and record it once it starts without having to actually be there for the start time. Thanks, developer!!

All I can really say about VoiceRecorderMemosPro is that it's really great and simple to use with the interface and even best of all I can also use it with my Apple watch can seamlessly record on and off from my phone with my watch or just record on the watch and then just save it on the phone to for later use.

I love this voice recorder! It’s the best I’ve found to use for in class recording since it doesn’t break each recording down to different files. It just stays and I’m about to resume my original recording which is fantastic. Also VoiceRecorderMemosPro can speed up the recording which is THE BEST especially when professors are slow talkers. Highly recommend and already told all my friends about it.

VoiceRecorderMemosPro is very helpful!! I don’t really know much about music editing and this turned my song to a better song!! Thank you very much Recorder Pro!! Keep up the great work! Also having the free usage is great for people such as myself who doesn’t really have the money to pay for studio recording. VoiceRecorderMemosPro is very well constructed however I’m having syncing troubles. When I first downloaded VoiceRecorderMemosPro I were able to send audios from both my iPhone to my app watch, and vise versa. Now I can’t send from and to either device. Please fix this? Here’s 5 stars because it is by far the best voice recording app in the AppStore in my personal opinion.

Small app size is great for an older & storage-constrained phone. Only comment is that on an Apple Watch 1st Gen (the version before Series 1), the complication for VoiceRecorderMemosPro is invisible. In detail: the complication works and the watch app will open upon tapping the complication. But, the location on the watch face where I've selected this complication to appear, looks as if 'Off' had been selected.

Unlike the separate mike That I had and tried first, VoiceRecorderMemosPro, recording just using my iPad, caught my voice quite clearly, without the sounds of my breathing and other annoyances. Good, clear sound. I am just having a little trouble figuring out how to continue a particular recording if I have hit “pause.” BUT... Decent sound and it’s free—what’s not to like?!

It is a really good it’s a really good app for me but I give us a five star because the one thing that I wish that was developed was an eight bit version of it but the quality of the audio was just a bit but in the settings menu you can change the quality I wish I was a bit on it so I can send a video game

This is a simple app that lets you record so clearly and saves all your music and let’s you title the music. It also has a lock feature to protect your songs and it’s just so fun to use and stress reliever as well . I make music for myself and the prices are very fair . I subscribed for the yearly membership ten minutes after using VoiceRecorderMemosPro . Very worth it .

I enjoy VoiceRecorderMemosPro very much after trying other various apps. But VoiceRecorderMemosPro allowed me to record as long as I like and did not make a huge dent in my storage like other competitive apps. I generally like the way it is set up as well. I just realized you can make folders and that is so awesome. Customer service is excellent and taught me that, thank you.

I use with my Apple Watch to record quick ideas. The ability to immediately send to phone for back-up is great. But also to not need the phone is fantastic. I leave my phone outside my studio to reduce distractions and VoiceRecorderMemosPro has largely replaced my “memo demo” workflow process. Also great for while out on a run, where a lot of ideas come. Very happy with VoiceRecorderMemosPro.

I never ever reviewed any app in my life. But this recording app is so amazing and great that my inner consciousness forced me to give its makers five stars and most positive reviews. It works best with Apple Watch. All other apps shutdown after few seconds when screen goes black on Apple Watch but VoiceRecorderMemosPro continues to record seamlessly without a break. Go for it. My word, you will be happy with it. Thanks developers for great app.

Have used it for a couple of days no major glitches, would suggest being able to combine or merge recordings so if you’re trying to keep track of things by the day you don’t have multiple files, not a biggie. Being able to change the colors to what the user likes, is a nice touch.

It’s been a long time since I started learning Hindi. And I was confused about how I can organize my recordings to be able to practice listening to my voice saying Hindi words and sentences easily and in a more organized way. For those who are starting to learn any new language, this is the best!

Great app because it’s quick both for my iPhone and Apple Watch. I mostly record on my watch and take less than 3 seconds to setup a new session.
Easily sync from watch to phone
Allows playback on watch (watch internal speaker or airpods)
I would suggest adding a transcriber in the future.

I haven’t used VoiceRecorderMemosPro for awhile until today. It used to be a simple interface, effective, straightforward design. However, with updates made on VoiceRecorderMemosPro this is no longer the case. I hope It can find another app no frills effective app like this used to be. mkm

i have tried many other recorder apps and was looking for one that can create separate folders for different ideas, which this can do. but most importantly you can import easily between PC and iPad via iTunes instead of using the Cloud exclusively.

I have only used Recorder for a short time but am very impressed. I have looked for quite some time for an app that offered controls that allowed reversing the audio easily to facilitate transcription. VoiceRecorderMemosPro works very well for that. I can highly recommend it.
