Qello: Watch Concerts & Docs Reviews

I love concerts, but am not a fan of crowds. This has been such a wonderful source for seeing amazing shows without having to deal with the people aspect. A lot of older shows that I would have loved to have been a part of. Thank you for making such wonderful bits of music history available to the masses.

It has a great selection and awesome interface but for some reason I can’t get it to run in the background. There’s some concerts on here that you can’t find recordings of and I was hoping to be able to listen without having my phone open and the video playing. I hope either there’s something I’m doing wrong or that Qello adds this to its features very soon. I am currently on the free trial and would seriously consider subscribing but for myself this is a deal breaker. Other than that there’s an amazing selection, this app has wonderful quality, its just missing something that I would love to see app do. Thanks this app. Keeping my fingers crossed !

The content offered on Qello is outstanding. The only thing that bugs me is how the video automatically plays behind each item on the Home page on my Roku when you scroll to choose a video. Stop and start. Stop and start. Also the screen blacks out for a few seconds every time this happens. At least give the user the option to turn off that feature.

While I enjoy seeing the classic rock bands in today’s format, I would much rather see more vintage concerts when the band looks and sounds like I remember them.

Downloaded app. Created password. Entered credit card. Activated a one-week free trial. This was last night. Tried and tried to get it to start working. Never did. Same thing this morning. I imagine it will magically begin working the day before my free trial ends.

I am so bummed because Qello has everything- and I mean EVERYTHING -a music lover would ever want to watch, and I was looking forward to an entire 3-day rainy weekend of music. If I were rating for content, this would be 5 stars- the price for access to all of these live shows and documentaries is UNBELIEVABLY REASONABLE. I’d love to have had the chance to watch some of them!

The Catalog of music documentaries is the best I have seen.
I will say that paying for the upgraded plan is worth it. We originally did the trial thru prime and downloaded Qello on our phone. The trial was limited on the selection compared to what Qello on our phone said so we loaded the stand alone this app platform to our smart tv and love it

There is a wide selection of concerts to enjoy. My only tiny complaint is that I wish more of the concerts were in 4K or would be upscale to 4K, but this isn’t this app’s fault. Still a 5 star experience for me.

It’s great. However, today, you made a glitch when you added Annie Lennox’s “An Evening of Nostalgia” to your concerts when she’s already there. Thus, there are two recording of Annie Lennox’s “Evening of Nostalgia” concert! What should I do?
Update: You’ve added an Alice in Chains unplugged concert that’s already there. Also, could you add Video Games Live back?
Update 2: Why do you keep removing concerts???

I truly enjoy this app’s streaming service but,

I do have a few suggestions that I feel would make this app an even better experience and more pleasurable.

If this app had the option to have dates and the name of the venue on the screen, it would be very helpful. I also hope that someday soon there will be more recent and current concerts available for streaming along with the option to watch sets from all different music festivals.

These suggestions would put the cherry on top for this app and make it that much more enjoyable than it already is.

One thing that really annoys me about a product is when they constantly pester you for a review, many times before you even get the product

Most of the time it starts to play a video and 10 seconds in it just starts spinning and never returns. Often have to restart Qello to get a video to play. It crashes a lot also. Garbage and not worth the subscription price. I am glad I could cancel before getting charged. Really wanted this to work because there are some awesome videos in the catalog. Too bad you can’t get the streaming to work

Currently on the free trial and enjoying the shows I’ve started with, however it’s irritating that I cannot chrome cast on to my tv. This makes using my phone while playing shows extremely difficult. Ultimately I will not pay for this content until I can chrome cast.

It not only crashes a lot...just from scrolling or rewinding, but it often doesn’t remember what you were playing when you quit Qello . So, you have to search for it all over again. If it does by some chance remember, it will crash as soon as you try to play it. Also, some of the video quality is horrific. I watched the Classic Album Series of Fleetwood Mac-Rumours, and it looked like a poor bootleg VHS.

I love music and nothing is better to me than live music. I would rather watch a good concert than a movie any day. Quello is the best and I just hope that it keeps growing and never goes away.

I have a fully paid subscription for Qello—it worked great initially during the free trial and once I started paying for it none of the concerts will play. When I press “play full concert”, it plays a 2min preview of the concert and tell me to subscribe to watch the whole thing. When I try to subscribe it confirms I am still subscribed but I can’t watch anything

Superb content - gems that music lovers won’t likely find anywhereelse

If the primary content a company is presenting is concerts the bare minimum quality should be in HD. It is so disappointing to find this amazing content only to watch it in potato quality with terrible audio. Unfortunately they will not be getting any of my money until they upgrade the visual and audio quality of their library.

On multiple different devices and internet connections that can play other streaming services in 4K without a problem, the content on Qello is so low resolution I can barely see who is performing. Frustrating as it seems like there’s an amazing selection of concerts id love to see.

Great audio and video. Worth every $1.

The selection is good, and the video quality is great. However, the audio only streams at 96 or 128K bps which is very low. Please up the quality of the audio

Nobody there has s seat as good as these videos and the sound and variety is perfect.

This is great to have all the concert info available. Would be nice to have some more recent concerts as well...and better stability in Qello ’s performance

I viewed this in a wine bar. I ask the waitress what it was. I was hooked. I purchased it for a year at the time for the best price.

I like Qello , but it crashes every time I try to scrub through a video to get to the part I want. Can I suggest 10-second skip forward and reverse buttons, too?

If you like music it's a great app! They have concerts that bring me back to my youth! Sleek design and awesome content!

I cancelled my trial subscription because I wanted to rent some opera videos with the usual choice of supertitles (usually a choice of languages). No such thing on the this app versions. I tried the Apple TV menu to turn on cc but no avail. Help is buried behind an email form, not even an FAQ on Qello . Worthless.
