My Best Weather App
I’m surprised at the low rating for this app. I love it!! I had five weather apps when I did my review and found this one to be the best. Yes, I get alerts for other parts of the KWCH viewing area but that doesn’t bother me. Hint: if you don’t want notifications, turn them off.

Can no longer view forecast without persistent ads
As in the title. When viewing anything in the app a full screen advertisement pops up, after dismissing the ad it will come back within seconds making the app unusable. Along with this simply going to view a video forecast makes a video ad come up every single time. I get banner ads sure but this isn’t acceptable by any means. There’s plenty of alternative weather apps out there, only reason to use this was for local forecasts with our own meteorologists and to support the local station. But that’s getting much harder to do now.

Turned into a SPAM bot
The app itself is a great way to check local weather and check the 24/7 weather stream when there is severe weather in the area. Lately they have been sending out pointless notifications. Before I would get notifications severe weather in my area. Now I am getting notifications that the end of summer isn't here yet, there is a heat wave coming or that Labor Day is going to be between 80-90 degrees. If they don't stop soon I'll be looking for another app for local weather alerts.
