Can’t store annual pass in app

I find it disappointing reading reviews from 5, 7, and even 10 years ago the same issues haven’t been resolved. I just bought season passes for the family and I can’t even bring them up in BuschGardens . You’ll have to go to an external webpage, log in EVERYTIME (first save login info) and then you can see your passes. BUT WAIT, you have to either create an account, or log in with your season pass number. I create an account with my email - which I will always remember but I can’t add my passes to it. I can log in using my pass number, but I have to have my physical pass in hand to read from because I am not going to remember that 16 digit number. Either way, it is still not connected to BuschGardens itself so anytime you want to use it you have to go back to the web page. Your IT department could probably Google how to link that info.

Don’t waste your time with this app

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review about an app. I just wanted to save others the time it takes to download it. I gave it a 1 because it did list rides, dining locations, shopping, show times and tour options. Other than that it was a glorified advisement for their quick queue. We downloaded BuschGardens for our visit last week. We needed to find the nearest restroom but they are not shown on the map in BuschGardens . We thought we could link our annual passes but you have to log into the website to access them. Half the rides were down because of high winds but there was no information on BuschGardens about the temporary closures. And, worst of all, there is absolutely no wait time information. Just go to the website if you need any information or to purchase tickets, etc. and save the storage space on your phone for something useful.

I can’t believe this

I can’t believe they literally lied about the time of the rides I’m now waiting and I came here at 5 or 4 and. I’m probably gonna go on one ride for the whole day they made the line to long it is not fair how they are gonna make us wait for a long time just to go on one ride for the whole day?! BuschGardens is good but I don’t like the fact that they made me wait so long for nothing I already had to drive here 3 hours?! Not cool and the fact that sometimes they stop the ride and make you wait more
This one lady waited so long and they said she had to come a again cause they closed it’s not the workers fault just a little bit but it’s mostly the manger THEY NEED TO FIX THIS NOW AND THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO CAN MOSTLY HELP IS YOU GUYS THE MORE WE FIGHT FOR OUR RIGHTS THE MORE WE GET CLOSER TO THE RIDES i hope this review helped ty♥️♥️♥️

Much Improved but Obvious Work Still to Do

The new app is a significant upgrade from the old for the most part. Much better info on dining than was present in the old app.

The two areas that stand out as needing work are a complete lack of ability to plan for future visits and a significant drop on image quality of the map.

One of the features the old version had was to see a schedule of operating hours and show times for future dates. Those are very important and obvious features to just omit. Nearly every other theme park app I have used has had those features including the much maligned app this replaced. This is particularly important at a time of year where schedules are being tweaked in response to Howloscream demand.

The park map is more of a stylistic complaint. It might just be a temporary issue until they add the better drawn version with Pantheon, but comparing the look of the map to its predecessor app, it seems to have prioritized scalable vector graphics at the price of visual appeal, odd for the “World’s Most Beautiful Theme Park.”

This app changes the way you look at Busch Gardens!

Okay, so I have been using BuschGardens for quite a while and since they don’t hand out maps anymore, this is 100x better! It tells you the showtimes, all the rides, and even where stuff is! It’s so great, that I actually discovered a ride that I never knew was here:Kumba! I hope you will dwnload BuschGardens!!

Pass at hand

I love using BuschGardens because my pass is there when I need it. I could never remember where my physical card was when I wanted to go. BuschGardens makes it so convenient to show to get the discounts when purchasing food or souvenirs. Love it! Plus one less card to carry.

I LOVEE Busch gardens

The busch gardens app is really helpful it helps you find rides and tell you lots of info about the rides to like the waiting time and how tall you have to be and everything its great theres even a map and everything!

By

This app is frustrating

Even though the old app wasn’t very reliable with the wait times being accurate, you could kinda guess what the wait times would be before getting there. I live an hour away and consider this my home park. Ever since the new app has come out I haven’t gone in what feels like months. I’m not driving an hour to wait in hour long lines when I could go the following day and it be empty. My annual pass is useless until wait times are added to BuschGardens . Please add them soon.

An idea

I love BuschGardens , but I like to plan in advance for going to the park so I would like to be able to see the daily park hours for at least a week out and also be able to pick a date to see the schedule of events for that day. I can’t even look a day ahead and that makes planning my trip very difficult.

By

Wait times

It had everything needed but would love a wait time like the old app, it’ll be helpful instead of walking to the other side of the park to find out if it’s open or not. Or even if the line is gonna be long or not. Otherwise really helpful

By

Wonderful park, great app

App very well covers lots of details needed to get around the park and understand what’s here. Map could be a little more detailed but is pretty good and has some nice unexpected interactive features.

By

Worst park app ever created

All the rides are closed because of bees or lack of help but unfortunately you have to walk to the ride to get greeted with a sign of closing or if you are really fortunate you find one open. Terrible experience at Busch from no rides being open to trying to navigate this crappy app. You have to use it tho because there are no paper maps or signage telling you anything. Good luck if you go. My advice is, don’t.

Not great…

BuschGardens needs a lot of work. First off, why can’t you link your pass to it? Any time I want to see my perks or offers, it takes me to the browser where I have to enter my pass information. It’s a pain. Yeah having access to the show times and map is great for when you are in the park, but not having your pass info is ridiculous.

By

Bring back wait times

While I love that the updated version has ease of access to our passes pleaaaaaaase bring back wait times/ride closure updates to BuschGardens . It was super helpful with planning our day around the park.

Blessed to live in Tampa Bay

Busch Gardens is one of the top reasons to enjoy life in Tampa Bay. Never a dull moment, the roller coasters the animals, train ride, catching one of the awesome shows or just relaxing around the water and watching uncaged wild humans go by, never a dull moment...lol... Busch Gardens keep Rockin

Can’t log in

I haven’t been able to log into BuschGardens for months. I have to use the internet. Can someone fix this issue

By

The map is interactive!

I like that BuschGardens is searchable and easy to use. I would like it if you could mobile order food.

By

Just amazing

Growing up and going to this park and having BuschGardens so everything can be easier on my part i just love it all.

Busch gardens app rating

It helps know when rides are open and where everything is at

Shockingly bad

BuschGardens is mostly useless. I am a member and have been a pass holder since 2000. All I need from BuschGardens is to bring up my bar codes so they can be scanned. This is seemingly beyond the ability of BuschGardens maker. Sometimes I will get the spinner and the. Nothing will change on the screen. Occasionally, it will display a few bar codes from old passes that have expired - there is a link below that which says “View all Passes” but that doesn’t actually do that.
The only links that work are the ones to buy memberships. You might think BuschGardens would know that I have one, but again, you would be wrong.
One time BuschGardens magically did what I wanted and showed me the proper page of barcodes. Excitedly I tried to add them to my phones wallet so I could use them again. That functionality failed, which is at least consistent. One star for being consistently aggravating.

Lost features starting to return

There used to be a real app for all the SeaWorld parks, with useful features like car locator, wait times, digital passes, and a feature to pay for stuff in the park. Then, one day, it was replaced by a web wrapper that wasn't very useful, and I complained about it here. Well now they've started to add some of the features of the old app to the web wrapper, making it at least functional as an app. Wait times are finally back, which is crucial. Unfortunately some of the buttons and links like the Map button still redirect you to Safari, but I'm hopeful they'll fix that soon.

New app layout is terrible

I used to be able to find my annual passes and either use them from BuschGardens or save them in my wallet. This new layout either got rid of that (which is stupid considering there is no other way to get the online pass) or put them somewhere where the link can’t be accessed. BuschGardens used to be great because it was 100% just park info and if you wanted to go to the actual webpage where you buy tickets and stuff then you would click a link to get there. Now it’s like they just want to sell you more and more stuff. I’m already a pass member your app shouldn’t offer me to buy another anual pass over showing me my own pass

By

Completely Useless

I mostly downloaded BuschGardens to be able to add my season pass into my phone wallet. However, the button to do so does absolutely nothing. On top of that there were so many errors trying to get to it that I finally just printed my pass at the park. While in the park, checked out the wait times and they were completely inaccurate. They didn’t change through the entire day, and waits were at least double what was stated. Most things in BuschGardens are actually just a link to the website. We go to the park every year but this is about the sorriest excuse for an app I’ve ever seen.

Lack of useful features

Updated review: wait times are way off. It might say 15 min on BuschGardens , but it’s actually 40 min on the sign. Waste of time.

BuschGardens has potential, but navigating is such a pain! There is no back button! The ride wait times is useful, but the only way I can get to it is to close and reopen BuschGardens every single time. There is a park map, but it’s not interactive. It would be a lot easier if you could just click across the map to find what you’re looking for. I’ve also heard of other park apps letting you save your car location, so that would be nice to have also.

By

What happened to the app?? Yikes

I remember using BuschGardens years ago and it was a decent app. You could save where you parked and view the map, etc. Now BuschGardens is just the website? Hard to navigate that. You’d think a billion dollar company could afford good app developers but apparently not. The only reason it’s getting two stars is because I was able to successfully add my pass to my iPhone wallet which I noticed in other reviews people said did not work.

By

Loss of usability with upgrades

BuschGardens used to be much more functional! Last season the map was interactive with filters showing what my kids could ride, wait times and a nice locator function. It now just shows me a static map...

I’ve lost the ability to upload passes. It tells me my profile needs updating (passes from two years ago are expired) but doesn’t have the capability to delete old or add new. This functionality hasn’t worked for two years now.

There’s great potential but unfortunately it’s getting worse not better.

By

Bring back wait times

This version of BuschGardens is a step back from the previous versions. It is just a webpage with a slightly interactive pdf map of the park. The old app was more interactive. I have been visiting this park for 20 years and would still use the old version of BuschGardens for wait times. This version of BuschGardens is less about enhancing user experience and more about selling upgrades. If you are new to the park there is no advantage of BuschGardens over a physical map handed out as you enter the park. I may never use BuschGardens again.

By

Finally improved!

Previous versions have been atrocious. However the newest rendition actually contains my season pass, which I can add to my Apple wallet! Finally!!! I love the ride wait times information and it’s easy to find now. BuschGardens is still more of a sales tool than anything, but at least this version is more than just a copy of their website.

By

I can buy all the tickets but...

I have a family of four that plan on frequenting the park. I bought the gold passes for my husband and I and silver for our kids. The only pass I can pull up in my app is my sons. BuschGardens stubbornly refuses to let me add anyone else in my household to my account page, despite acknowledging that I own 4 passes. It would be really easy if this would work as intended. I don’t ask much. As someone else pointed out, if I am in the park I probably don’t need to buy tickets. It’s great there’s an option for that but totally kills BuschGardens .

By

Not great

It’s amazing to me that a company like SeaWorld wouldn’t have a decent app for Busch Gardens. Finding my active pass is a mammoth task between the weird menu options, the hanging and the crashing. Just put a link to my pass on the homepage, willya???? And don’t bother trying to add your pass to Wallet, Folks. The button doesn’t do anything at all. I’ve tried two separate iPhones. Same results. Very poor.

I’m only giving two stars cos the show times are good.

No longer an App

The Busch Gardens and Sea World mobile app is not an app, but the park websites. Gone are the fun activities such as the Passport To Fun, which was a scavenger hunt throughout the park. Mobile pay rarely works, and the park employees do not know how to ring up purchases using quick pay. Also, quick pay and annual pass discount can not be used during the same transaction as only one barcode can be scanned. This seems rather antiquated for 2018. Unrelated, but the wireless throughout Busch Gardens is terrible anyway, so BuschGardens is rather useless.

By

Trash

Don’t bother... it just pulls up pages on their web page. The fun part is you can’t ‘go back’ a page. Have to start over through the menus. Pretty much every page is trying to sell you something. If you’re at the park using BuschGardens , you’ve probably already purchased, just saying... Where are the ride wait times? How about being able to filter rides based on height requirements. The park ‘map’ is nothing more than a redirect to your browser to pull up a low-res image. Complete waste of time.

Can no longer save annual pass to Apple wallet

The thing I liked most about BuschGardens was the ability to save my annual pass on it and therefore also in my Apple wallet. I was also able to use the Apple past from my Apple Watch. Now, that functionality is gone and I have to carry the physical paper pass. I really really miss having the ability to have it in my Apple wallet. Bush Gardens developers: please bring that back!

By

Worst app I have ever used

This is an awful app with terrible user experience. It’s worse than using a website not optimized for mobile on a small device. Can’t zoom and it’s a web view. They have the money to make a native app for their customers who pay. This should be removed from the AppStore or updated.

If they wanted to really stand out they could allow you to add the tickets and passes to the Apple wallet so we could use them from the lock screen and Apple Pay.
