I only use the app to read the paper, but each iteration of the app makes it more and more difficult. Now to download to read offline, I have to download a pdf file. If I read online it takes forever to get the paper up, the app constantly shuts down unexpectedly or just closes the edition I’m reading and goes to the front page of the most recent edition. It never remembers where I’m at so each time I open the app I have to remember and find my place. Contacting support does no good. They just bleat out the old, tired call of “restart your device” or “make sure you have the recent update”. If there was another paper in Atlanta I would drop this one like a rotten squash and move on.

My family has had a subscription to the AJC since the 70’s. About 3 years ago all members of my family, including extended family, chose not renew their subscriptions due to the liberal bias and partisan politics that the AJC has committed to engage. The AJC has determined that people like myself, who practice and believe in free speech, the 2nd amendment, capitalism and free will are no longer valuable and that liberal politicians know what best. Once the Coronavirus has been resolved, I will delete this app and will still consider the AJC as an untrusted source of journalism and a fair news source for all people.

I recently got this app to keep up with local info surrounding the pandemic. The app is hard to use, it’s impossible to search for a story or topic, and all too often the links don’t take you to the article you click on. I’m also annoyed at the ‘look’ of the articles — the layouts are more like something I would expect of a fourth-rate rag. Or maybe I’m expecting too much.
