this app x is amazing, I would only change one thing. It would be nice (but not absolutely necessary) if you improved precision. I have recalibrated my device several times and it is still a little off. While I understand that you cannot make it perfectly exact, I would quite appreciate it if the precision was improved a bit.

I have cut the cable and am putting up an outside antenna to receive free over the air channels I found a website that you can enter your address and it will give you the exact co-ordinance in which to point my antenna to the TV station towers. Compass has worked perfectly. It gives me the exact degree to point antenna for dead on reception. Thank you for a great app!

I was out on the water and fog set in, making it impossible to know where we were. By taking a heading just as the fog rolled in, we were able to navigate back to safety. That’s a lifesaver.

After checking calibration and matching this this app with my iPhone this app, I found the Accuracy + or - rating on the screen to off by a factor of 15 to 28 degrees. Thus, either the developer misinterpreted the readings and left out a decimal point or the this app is unreliable in its reading. If there is a decimal point missing and the true accuracy is 1.5 to 2.8 degrees off the actual this app reading, then this could be considered acceptable. Otherwise, one cannot trust the reading it gives the user.

Knowing the direction of North —either true or magnetic— is the key to getting around in unfamiliar places. The only downside is that some places don’t have cell service, so you still may have to use dead reckoning.

You are bombarded by the insidious Google ads that have permeated every place like a cancer. Google has done some great things, but is now sucking the blood out of everything it touches. App developers fall right in step. Would prefer the basic this app I have had on iphone for years, but for some unknown reason, that can’t be had on an ipad.

When I first got Compass I was so excited but when I opened it it said my device didn’t have the right chip to work so I read the reviews and they were pretty good so I’ll never know if Compass is good or not but I bet it’s great.

I just recently moved to a new location and Compass has been a god sent. I got lost one time but after I got it, never after that if I need to find where an address is whether north or south. It is absolutely brilliant.

I understand the apps that are free might require ads to help defray the cost of development, but placing ads right in the middle of the screen completely obscures the functionality of Compass . It’s nice that the Developer has a feedback button entitled “ad covered content”, but submitting it achieved nothing. It’s a beautiful app with potentially useful information, but with this glaring ad intrusion, there is but one choice. Delete!

If you wanna go camping or on a holiday where there’s snow like Lake Tahoe, you need a this app. A this app is a special clock that tells sailors and pilots where there going like the north or the south. These places are magnets so the needle is magnetized. You can find compasss in Target or The Home Depot.

I understand developers want make money. But having this annoying ad fixed on Compass is too much. Have the ad just make it where I can delete it and go on till the next one pops up.

I paid for a this app that is completely useless this one and every other I’ve had completely wicked useless I wish I could get my money back get this off my phone what good is it if it’s back wards or quarter off never worked I don’t know what to say tried to figure eight still not working wish I could take back my star

Everything is perfect but the adds are bothersome, making it a little less perfect.

Having a this app can dave my life. I am lost easily and at night cannot see much. I don’t have one in my car. This one is perfect.

Compass is right at hand whenever I need it. When boating I find it more accurate than the very expensive this app mounted in my boat.

Everyone needs to know which way North is, or at least they should. If you need to know just download this great app.

I have always wanted to use a this app and Compass is teaching me how. Thank you so much for making it possible.

Compass works well most of the time but it sometimes is erratic and gives several reads for the same location.

This goes beyond being a useful this app. It’s attractive to use and helpful in teaching non-this app persons the joy of knowing Cardinal directions.
