All news are fake, domestic or international. Praises of President Xi and the central government are always on the top lines of the front page. No "negative energy" is allowed in either the report or comment sections. Other than the fake news on politics, it is flooded with superficial entertainment topics and indecent topics, if not obscene commercials. It is designed to feed trash to its readers and fool them.

Together with Sina, Tencent News was once considered by many as the top platforms to see China. However, over the past few years both continued to deteriorate. Now I am appalled by its poor quality. The developers and Tencent should be ashamed of themselves to produce such a garbage App.

So everything that is posted on this New App is about how good the Chinese government is and how wise the leaders are. And the comments make me feel shame. There is one comment that I read today saying that all American people should infect the virus and then beg China for help. And this kind of comments are common under all kinds of news. I feel shamed of these kinds of people and decided to delete 腾讯新闻 today. Also I believe there are bots pretending as readers and posting some really bias comments that is shown as the recommended comments. Overall I feel really bad reading news from 腾讯新闻.

I’ve had 腾讯新闻 for years as my window to Chinese media, but recently I couldn’t take more and deleted 腾讯新闻 . It has gone too far in only allowing speaking for the government. The comments highlighted under each article are so stupid and are selected based on government’s preference and possibly posted by paid bots, and I can’t even post comment anymore just because I commented some facts before. Tencent, you are hurting the country even if you are just following the order.

Love 腾讯新闻. Great positive news of China, this is what world is needed now. Look at how many people in US vanished, in the name of freedom not able to complete lock-down.

As a statistician, I could say for sure whoever designed the recommender system for 腾讯新闻 is either ill-skilled or ill-minded. Is there anything WRONG with your thoughts about what I would like based on my previous review? WHY would I want to see a Chinese “actor” who is actually a RACIST and SEXIST just because I watched several irrelevant Chinese series? AND I cannot block his news. Nice play!

First of all, it was very difficult to log in, having to try the stupid puzzles many many times. Finally I was able to log in, but it consumed 37% of my cell phone battery, even though I only spent less than one minute to browse one piece of the news. I’m not going to use it.

After I completed all its problems, 腾讯新闻 started to cheat in every single way not to give me game coins, such as taking a nap, denial of opening red envelopes and giving me coins. I contacted the customer service a couple of times. It is useless. I do not recommend 腾讯新闻 to anyone.

As ppl know, this trash app only show positive news in China and negative news outside China. All the news from international and global around the counties they post are fake. They don’t even the truths which all the news are controlled by communist, and only post their terrible comments. Garage app needs to be vanished as soon as possible.

While I am Chinese, the commenting section make me feel sick. I suspect that most commenter are uneducated Chinese with an insular mindset. They only blindly praise how good China is and trash talk everything in the western world. Most news on the platform are either made up or twisted in interpretation, creating a fantasy bubble for the Chinese nationalists.

Set as no location service. Still use the location for comment . Report it several times. People need their own privacy

Based on my long term observation, 腾讯新闻 is continuously spying your cell phone activities, e.g., your Safari browser history. Each time after you searching on Safari, 腾讯新闻 will push the related news to you.

I’m wondering if 腾讯新闻 also spying other APPs, e.g., GPS, message, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc.?

I’m also wondering if the APPs from the same company do the same things as 腾讯新闻? E.g. WeChat.

Apple should clarify and make sure if it violates your rule or any laws.

腾讯新闻 should be banned from App Store because it sensors your comments not only blocking individual ones but also your entire account. This is Nazi!

It takes a high IQ to extrapolate the facts here. It will tell us what is the new, what is the truth, and what we. should think....... we have to learn how process our own data. If you can not, it will be hard to use 腾讯新闻.

Why keep copy my pasted contents on my phone and mac book? For a news app? I don't see it as a necessary feature. Apple should force them to fix this

It’s video news has nothing to do with titles, typos are everywhere, news is sourcing from small agents without proper validation whatsoever, not trustworthy at all. This is the worst news app ever!

It's a terrible app. Never recommend it to anyone! The layout of pages are floppy, making the most important news hard to find.

腾讯新闻 is completely controlled by capital An large amount of hackneyed and stereotyped expressions thought the whole APP. It's extremely worthless except watching a few good channels

Chinese technology is pretty amazing. I like 腾讯新闻.

this is a really ridiculous app, all the news just only shows the positive things in China, negative things outside of China.

Everytime I open up 腾讯新闻 , the ad jumps out with sound which can be quite disturbing in a quiet environment.
