Bubble Explode - Blast & Burst Reviews

Update: within 24-hours of writing my initial review, BubbleExplode ’s Development team contacted me to let me know they FIXED this issue. Yay!! Their email and super fast response made my day, and I’m back to playing the only game app I own with fervor. Thank you. I absolutely love BubbleExplode and really appreciate it.

This was the only game I played. Not sure what happened during the last update, but the scoring is no longer cool. When you play against the game in “Turn by Turn,” the game scores three times the points then you for the same play. The scoring used to be even but now, it’s no longer fun or interesting. Bring back the former scoring.

I would give five stars but I have a little problem. I got some of the shapes in like the achievement section for example I believe I got the 1 shape or something like that but it didn’t show up as being gotten and after that point even when I got it again it still wouldn’t count in I know it’s a small problem but it kind of just annoys me because I’m a bit of a perfectionist and want to get all the achievements eventually could you maybe please try to help me with this? I would be completely OK and would actually like it if you could possibly tell me a way to or help me just reset my account and everything so that I can just start over I’m fine with that.

Nice game and music! Not bad for free. Just hate it has to cheat you. When one column of bubbles is cleared, normally other columns squeeze together except for when a new group of bubbles are dropped without notice. Real bummer!! Hope they can redesign it so the game does not do that. Since the developer contacted me, I’ve timed the drop and there is an unequal amount of time. They never covered the subject about when columns would squeeze together cause that is how the game cheats the player. Developer has written a response not dealing with the initial issue and I assume they won’t. Poor behavior on their behalf. So I stand by my original complaint, the game cheats you.

I'm enjoying this. You have to think and react quickly. Addictive! However,I'd like to see improvements made to the Swapper game. When unusual combinations occur that should be worth extra or bonus points, none are given. For example, if you set off a lightning bolt and another one is in the same line, it's lost. I feel that should be rewarded. Also, if a lightning bolt happens to be in an alignment of five matching bubbles, you are not given the gold and black button. It's frustrating when these unique combinations tend to have a negative rather than a positive effect on the game.

I used to play this game once a day, every day and thoroughly enjoyed it, but have decided to delete it from my iPad. I know this game is free and I haven’t purchased any additional features/capabilities so I understand that I might not have any right to complain but during the past couple of years or so that I have been playing this game I’ve always had enough “pearls” to enable me to undo as many moves as I desired. The method of earning these pearls must have changed because my bank of them has been dwindling down faster than I’m earning them. It’s gotten to the point the the last few days I haven’t been able to undo hardly any moves so if the is the way it’s going to be I am not going to pay an ongoing fee to play this game so I’m out.

Before smart phones I had a digital palm pilot that had a version of bubble breaker on it. I was obsessed and recently longed for a quick distraction between remote work and dining waits. Not only did I find it in BubbleExplode but essentially 10+ free mini games to enjoy without ads. Whoever made BubbleExplode, I’d give 10 out of 10 stars if I could.

My suggestion for ‘swapper heros’ is to add more heros and easier upgrades for stronger heros. Maybe a story mode or missions to make things interesting as I progress.

This is the first game I installed on my new tablet years ago. It's still a game I go to when I have just a few minutes but want something fun and challenging. I love the new levels added the last couple updates. I do experience the crashing issue every so often. A bit frustrating as I have to restart a game when it crashes. Definitely have recommended this to friends and family many times through the years! Wish it would give more chances to earn free pearls :)

The scoring changed with the recent update. And the crazy hints light up. What happened. I'm all for updates but don't change scoring. Also, what's this extra screen that comes up now before you can play Crazy. Won't play as often and won't recommend it.

Some how I lost 60,000 plus pearls. What are you guys dong? Only play this game if you like the game and rules constantly changing.

Ugh! Frustrated.

The number of pearls is located the top right hand corner. On my iPad I had 60,000 plus pearls. On my iPhone I have 5700 pearls. BubbleExplode somehow connected the two and I know have only 5700 pearls on both devices. What happened to the 60,000 pearls. Why didn't it take the higher number of pearls. Just frustrating. The scoring had been fixed a year ago which is working great.

You fixed it. Thank you. Now back to enjoying the game again!

Cats are extremely crazy when they get playful. They will run all over the house and and jump on the side of the couch and take any thing that may look like a toy.

Cats are very affectionate when you cry. They will come to you and rub on you and purr trying to get you to feel better. They will also curl up in your lap.

Cats can see several different colors. They see all primary colors and plus a few other colors as well.

Cats will have long nails so they may climb trees to escape from predators. They use their back claws for protecting them selfs as well.

Domestic cats are not that much further from the cats in the wild.
Domestic cats will hide they’re food as well as wildlife cats, wild cat will hide they’re food and so does domestic cats, domestic cats will clean they’re young as well as wild cats, wild cats are foragers as well as domestic cats.

The wild cat eats about 11 hours a day but they manly eat at night just like the domestic cats

2016 Since last update it no longer loads the game, it will try then crashes, does this on both iPad 2 and iPod Touch devices
This was a regularly played game for us and well enjoyed till this update

2017 iPad 2, YAY! It loads now, game has good graphics, fun music, very entertaining, still play the old version on the iPod Touch as well, miss playing the other Spooky House Studio games on both devices. Will have to see if those will install & can be played now that Bubble Xplode is working

Every time I want to select a game to play either to kill time or be completely engaged, I keep coming back to this one. I have over 50 game installed on my iPad Pro and this is by far the most utilized one out of them all. I would say at 95%. Of course the real review will come when I can master or beat any of these games. Been playing the various games for over a year and haven't mastered one yet (though I do get impressive high scores)!

I love these games, but paid to remove the advertisements and there are still so many pop-ups, wanting me to buy extra jewels or pearls or what-nots and trying to get me to subscribe to game upgrades or monthly memberships. I can't use the "undo" feature in the classic mode because of a jewel over it that tries to make me buy an upgrade every time I click it. I have over 102K pearls I earned - I don't need to buy more and I want to use the undo feature the pearls unlock.

Overall I really enjoy relaxing to a couple games of Swapper, or 12 or pop but instead of relaxing I find my blood pressure increasing because while playing swapper I am continually distracted with hints on what to swap next. Even after turning off hints. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling but the hints keep rolling in. Is is distracting enough that I subtracted two stars. This is an easy fix but after more than a year it is still a problem. If they fix this one issue it would be enough for me to rate them a perfect score.

I like the variety of games and how they tell you how the games are played. You still need to figure out a bit more with each game but that keeps it interesting. Half of the games are free and the rest you need to pay for with the pearls you earn. There's one game "Swapper", which is fun, however, it automatically closes after a few swipes. I've contacted the devs multiple times with no response at all! When it force closes you lose all your points. (Would love to see that fixed.) All in all, I like it.

I love that we aren't forced to buy things to play the game. As long as we can earn pearls that's excellent. But I deleted the game because myself and a couple friends have tried to get to twelve they barely hit 10 and I barely hit 11 if we lose every time we play it without gaining some ground it becomes more than frustrating. It's supposed to be fun. It's obvious that it adjusts its moves based on my moves (intuitive?) but never getting to 12 after 2 months of daily (almost all day) and still no further...it stopped being fun.

I always play this game to kill time and I really enjoy it. There is a lot of games to chose from and they are all really fun! Also the leaderboards for the games are pretty cool too. I like how you can earn pearls and with those pearls you can buy skins and upgrades and new game modes. Overall I would recommend this game to anyone of any age. Whether you’re competitive and go for a high place on the leaderboard or just to kill time, this game is BOSS.

When I am not otherwise occupied, I have a tendency to feel bored. This lack of something to do is taken away by getting into Bubble Explosion. It's easy to put down as soon as something else demands my attention and keeps me calm while waiting to keep my mind focused on what I am waiting for that will demand my attention.

I can't stand all the ads and the evasive cancellation x that is often masked as an acceptance sign instead.

Otherwise, I am very happy with this game. It's the only one I play.

I loved this game up until they decided to change Gravity. I used to be able to expand the screen (get more bubbles) and my score would be in the 10,000+ range. I could easily get a round to last 10-15 minutes of playing time. Now I’m lucky if it lasts 2 minutes, since they no longer allow you to expand. This was my favorite game within BubbleExplode. I like 1010, Twelve, and Power of Two, but Gravity was the best until these changes. Now I don’t play this game nearly as often.

Dots is fun, until other player leaves game without finishing. Suspect it is due to giving in as they may be loosing. However it leaves the remaining player sitting and wondering for some time. Recommend adding a forfeit button. That would allow players to leave and notify the other player. If you have this added I’d give the game a 5 star. I love your games and play them a lot. Thank you!

I love this game, however, since I installed the last iPhone update my game is wonky. The touchscreen calibration is off by quite a bit.

Can you please see what can be done. I really miss playing my favorite game.

Re: with the calibration off for the touch screen I am unable to actually hit the send bug report. The game on my iPad works great. Just not on my iPhone. I have made several attempts to do as you asked, however, the bug report option will not activate. Please help.
