The customized portal they offer allows a familiar space to link learning to specific competencies valued at our agency. The site looks professional, the customer service was excellent, and we’re excited to see how our roll-out progresses. Did I mention the access to stats and additional resources for targeted team and group learning? I could go on ... but I recommend you check it out for yourself!

Extremely well-written summaries read by clear, professional voice actors. The content is first-rate. However, the interface often freezes, restarts, and disconnects. Hope that future versions will fix these bugs.

I came across getAbstractBookSummaries years ago when it was offered at no charge through a former employer. I was so satisfied that, after leaving the company, I made the decision to purchase the $300 yearly subscription. Shortly after the purchase a new update came out and the search function no longer works. I’ve tried multiple network connections, logged out/in, and searched several popular books/authors with no results. I’m using an IPhone 10, is anyone else having this issue?

In just a few minutes I can glean some of today’s most relevant and interesting business articles in a snap. The cost vs buying “all” the books is really a money saver. Now I only purchase those books that I can preview and make sense based on the abstract.

Had issue with installing on iPad. Submitter negative review not thinking it would mean anything. Got a prompt reply that the problem was recognized and corrected. Definitely appreciate that type of support.
Oh, and the application is good too. Definitely useful having short reads when there are so few hours in the day.

I appreciate that these summaries are formatted to pull out the main points. I get to absorb more than I would otherwise.

I think adding the ability to highlight and mark our spot would make getAbstractBookSummaries even better.

As a student getAbstract will always have my loyalty despite the students price the library of books summaries getAbstract offers is really good and the short summaries tends to be good in most cases. Give it a try if you are reading this review.

As a 24+ year reader of the Executive Book Summaries service, I find these concise, yet full abstract is right on the money. Very happy with this service, and will recommend this to anyone who does not havetime to read a book from cover to cover.

getAbstractBookSummaries has grown on me. I really like it now. But, I believe this is aimed more at businesses rather than your average joe. To really get my use of getAbstractBookSummaries, I would need the pro subscription which runs $300/year! That is just too darn expensive for me.
Wish it was more reasonable…

When I type a term to search it seems to search while I am typing which results I’m ridiculously slow results. Especially if I have a typo, basically end up waiting around for minutes for it to come back. I don’t understand how this can be the case. Please fix…

I am a regular reader of books in getAbstractBookSummaries and like the way summarization is done. It helps to read more books in less time.

SSO with my company has been broken since the 8.x release. It works fine on your website but not through getAbstractBookSummaries .

Open it frequently, get a wisdom nugget! Repeat. Love the content. I looked at many summaries for the books I have already read, and they are really well crafted!

Love the content. getAbstractBookSummaries times out if i go to another app for even a short time. If I’m listening to something it cuts out. I have to go back, sign back in and find what i was listening to again. It makes it fairly useless for the audio summaries/podcasts for me.

Wish there were useful images from the books in the summaries

I wish getAbstractBookSummaries worked as well as it used to work. I can’t search, a blank page just gives me the waiting spin. For anything! If I want to see more summaries, spin. If I want to search, soon, and then no results. I would rather have an app I can use than dark mode. Looking forward to this being fixed.

Good content, good summary write ups. Would like to see all of the content made available for the cheaper price, can’t afford the $30/month plan.

Very interactive and easy to use. The getAbstract app has come a long way and it just keep getting better and better.

Unbelievably well-summarized books, huge selection. Very expensive, but might be worth it.

It’s a great and informative app but it seems there is a limit to the amount of books it stores in my library...books I’ve chosen to read later or have finished reading. Is there a way around that?? I also believe an option to highlight findings will enhance the experience.

While the content is good, getAbstractBookSummaries is horrible. For $30/month I expect a first-rate app, not something that looks like a couple of college students made it in their spare time. And a 72 hour trial? Just dumb. At least give me a month to try it.

I'll stick with instaread and blinklist.

Content is very nice. Only concern for me is that it is not resuming the book I was reading last time. Even after few minutes if I come back to getAbstractBookSummaries , getAbstractBookSummaries starts from first.

We have a corporate account with GetAbstract, but I’m unable to login on getAbstractBookSummaries . If I use the ESSO option I loving through my employer but then I’m stuck in the mini sign in web browser and not getAbstractBookSummaries . It never transfers me back. If I use my password to login (not ESSO) nothing happens.
