dictccDictionary is far and away the most useful app I have ever used for learning a new language. It is fast, intuitive, precise and completely dependable. It is almost always open on my iPad. What a wonderful job the developers have done creating this!

Currently I don't have a large german dictionary handy so this is really helpful in looking up difficult words. It might be even better than most dictionaries in looking up idioms and expressions! And the ability to easily switch languages is cool.

Use this instead. There are a ton of helpful recordings with pronunciation and there are also a lot of idioms and other sayings that are also here. Extremely helpful as a tool for learning and understanding German.

dictccDictionary has made my life so much easier, with the little indicators of the uses of a word it’s much harder to accidentally say something you didn’t mean to. Additionally it’s very fast and I love that it’s offline. I just wish the Vocab was more organized and that there was a widget so I could look up a word with my phone locked.

dictccDictionary (the advanced one w/ a fee) WAS fantastic, but now it simply is a blank white screen when I click on dictccDictionary . I tried updates etc. too. I had a couple years of saved expressions and words that I often review. What happened here? I found that others are having the same experience.

Highly recommended, I’ve used it for German/English and German/French. It has many entries for each language.

I think that the bilingual dictionary is underrated. It is much more useful, in my opinion, to be able to find more information on a single word than to translate complete sentences with errors (e.g. Google Translate).

I also appreciate being able to download the dictionaries for use outside of areas with cell coverage.

Although some of the dictionaries are not as large as I'd like, some are very comprehensive.

Overall, this is a good app and I use it daily in my German studies, and I used it very often while in Spanish speaking countries.

I love dictccDictionary! Have it since years and with the recent update it’s incredibly fast! Great job to the developers! You rock!

A wonderful app!

After the update, dictccDictionary stopped autocompleting. You have to type the whole word and press search.

Downloads of language packs keep crashing. Have to start from zero again, just to see them crashing again. Have not been able to download a single language pack so far.

It doesn’t load at all on an iPhone 7. Even after updates and various different internet connections

After trying to search 15 somewhat common German words for my German 1 class, which is BASIC German, only 4 of the words were even on dictccDictionary . Horrible dictionary app.

dictccDictionary still needs to be updated for iPhone X users.

I just paid for this 10 minutes ago. I'm not a German speaker but i can tell this is wrong.
I wonder how many others are wrong..

...but isn’t working anymore.

This dictionary is exceptional. Like a book but an app. Golly gee.

Crash on iphone 5s

I recently moved to Germany and dictccDictionary has been invaluable. It gives so many relevant examples and I feel it truly captures the nuances of language that are so difficult to pinpoint. It's by far the best dictionary I've come across (totally underrated) and it's awesome that it works offline! One thing that could make it even better is if it offered verb conjugations, but overall it's a solid and reliable dictionary!

The best dictionary German app I've ever used. I've been sticking with their awesome website since the day I started to learn German, and then with this fabulous app. Very useful and convenient!! Now I don't need to be online all the time to look up the words. It does helps me improve my German effectively in a surprising way. It'd be super duper if there's a bookmark button. But it still rocks itself anyway. Love it, love it and love it ☆〜（ゝ。∂）

This is a great second dictionary to go along with the Ultralingua German-English dictionary I'd previously purchased.

It doesn't have all the features but it does have words that are missing from the other. The interface is pretty basic which can be a good thing when I need to quickly find a definition and move on.
