What is RSA Authenticator SecurID?
SecurID Authenticator is an app that allows users to authenticate with their existing SecurID Software OTP Credentials or use additional cloud-based methods from a single app. The app provides one-time passwords that offer more reliable security than reusable passwords. It also allows users to authenticate with biometrics available on their device. The app is simple, fast, and all within the same app.

With SecurID Authenticator, you can authenticate with your existing SecurID Software OTP Credentials or use additional cloud-based methods from a single app: • SecurID software OTP Credential and Authenticate OTP generate one-time passwords that provide more reliable security than reusable passwords. • Approve (push notifications) prompts you to authenticate by tapping a button on your registered device. • Biometrics methods allow you to authenticate with the biometrics available on your device. Simple, fast, and all within the same app! iOS users: • Install new SecurID Authenticator and it replaces SecurID 3.x / 4.0 app, with seamless data migration. • RSA Authenticate App 3.9.x continues to be supported, and data migration to SecurID Authenticator is currently not available. • For security reason, the Authenticator app does not function on devices that are rooted or jailbroken. macOS users: • Install new SecurID Authenticator and the migration of token records from the RSA Software token 4.2.x is currently not supported. • Please contact your help desk Administrator to provision the software token for you to import in the SecurID Authenticator. Note: Your company must be a SecurID customer to use this app. Please contact your Help Desk Administrator if you did not receive the information required to register your device. The Authenticator app is an update to the existing SecurID 4.0 app and a replacement for SecurID Authenticate 3.9.x app. The SecurID Authenticate app will continue to be supported. Please refer to the “What’s New” section on macOS and iOS App Store for further details.

So much handier than a hard token
This app works great and it’s really nice to not have to try to remember to grab the hard token when working off site. Plus just enter a number instead of PiN and number combined that I would frequently mess up, especially when resetting the PIN is required!

Greatest app ever made
This is truly the greatest app ever made. I use it everyday and am made better by its existence. Without this app I literally couldn't do my job. I hope those using this app find the peace I have when obtaining my number.
