I’m in the U.S. and read this daily. Great source of international news and it’s very well laid out...other media would do well to at least try to replicate the format. My English and Spanish skills are both stronger than my French yet I still prefer Le Monde to all others!

Le Monde is the only news source that is allowed notifications on my phone. If the world is coming to an end, let me be told about it in French.

First of all, I LOVE getting the news in French. French news. Hardly anything about the elephant in our room. More about Africa. A lot about that side of the Atlantic. Puts our ridiculous civil life in perspective, though I will always be ashamed of our current administration.

Excellent international and French reporting. Really goes into depth where other papers have abandoned long-form journalism. Coverage of US issues is excellent and without the mark of Democrat or Republican (though the paper is clearly and appropriately left-Euro in orientation).

This is a wonderful addition to my media sources and is easy to read even with my mediocre French. The updates are frequent and the coverage is balanced.

I’m reading multiple newspapers from France and Europe to keep myself updated with different views on Europe geopolitics. LeMondeLiveNews is really good but unfortunately “Le Monde” is too often having bias, manipulating the truth to feed a political agenda. The newspaper is not independent. This newspaper is often flagged providing incorrect information. When not incorrect, half of the articles would be editorials or just opinions in a normal newspaper like the New York Times. This is not true journalism.

I am 13 years old and I think it’s very understandable for someone my age, and all of the “articles” are well written. I also like the diversity of the subjects so yeah great application.

Le Monde gives me a clear view of the history, past or in progress and helps me understand it. I have read it since I was a teenager because I love its style.

They’re the most honesty and straightforward publication reporting on all world events. I trust them, I donate money, I’m thankful. A Guardian comes as a close second for anyone else interested in how to keep up to date.

I had some subscription problems, but they’ve been resolved. The paper, of course, is excellent, and the digital products are terrific.

Le Monde has a great app, and it’s an excellent newspaper—a good way to get a fresh perspective on the news of the day, assuming that you speak French!

I love receiving news from Le Monde. I pay for the premier service (édition abonnés) without reservation. I do wish I had time to read more articles and get the most out if it, but it's still worth it.

Unlike our US media I can count on French and German newspapers to provide quality reporting about international issues..

If the sky is falling, or the world is coming to an end, let my last news articles be from Le Monde and my thoughts be in French. I will be calmer and happier 😊

I find the all that LeMondeLiveNews constantly will refuse to update, requiring me to delete it and reload it.

I have considered cancelling my subscription, but there seems to be literally no way to do so! Apparently, this is a life long commitment

As for the writing of Le Monde, when I can get to the content, I am content. App crashes about every 3 to 4 uses.

Works well on iPad and iPhone with a clean design and straightforward menu. Great content, decidedly unbiased, objective and thoughtful source of news and analysis. A relief from many overtly political papers.

Not only Le Monde is the source of my international news but also what’s happening in the US.

Wish my French was much, much better. Any chance of getting a synopsis of the main news in English Thank you from Cuban born American citizens. viva la France.!

I love reading Le Monde ! The new perspective , the in depth coverage, and the variety of topics it covers makes it an indispensable tool to learn in this global world .

There is update after update and it still crashes when opening. I am also subscribing to the NYT and they are able to have a stable app. Get decent programmers for a change.

Real news and analysis. The world goes beyond DC, the US and the Bronx!

I regularly get ads saying I have over a dozen viruses and that I have to click on a button to clean my iPhone!! Though I understand the need for Le Monde to make some money, I think it’s unethical and ignoble to put adds for housing sites!! Shame on you Le Monde.

This works well on iPhone and Kindle Fire.

Le Monde is an excellent unfiltered source of news

I check LeMondeLiveNews several times a day to stay current on what's happening in my home country but also to see how international news are addresses in France comparison to how they are here in the US.

Étant un étudiant américain qui habite la région métropolitaine de New York, je préfère le New York Times comme source d'information principale; mais l'application fabriquée par ce dernier est pleine de "bugs" et de publicités, ce qui la rend vraiment instable. Cette application par Le Monde, en revanche, est bien conçue et réceptive, et fait de la lecture en ligne des nouvelles un vrai plaisir. J'attribuerais 5 stars à cette app si elle offre un réglage qui permet de désactiver l'affichage automatique des photos quand l'iPhone est tourné de côté, et si les paragraphes étaient alignés à gauche plutôt que justifiés, afin d'éviter de grands espaces au milieu de la ligne.

As an American student from the Greater New York area, my favorite news source is the NYTimes, but its app is rife with bugs and invasive ads that make it totally unusable. On the other hand, I love reading news with LeMondeLiveNews from Le Monde - it is well-designed and very responsive. I'd give it 5 stars if there is a mechanism to turn off the automatic display of photos when the phone is turned sideways, and if paragraphs are left-aligned rather than justified (to avoid large whitespaces in the middle of the line).
