This is the most unique dynamic Island application that actually adds a sense of practicality. It’s very fun and easy to use and I really like launching my favorite apps from the lock screen. The dynamic Island is a different story though I think it becomes pretty annoying because the dynamic Island unnecessarily stretches out at times even though I bought the pro version with island pure mode, so it shows a pure black pill but it’s enlarged and it triggers my OCD in a sense I wish there was a mode that would allow you to keep the original size of the dynamic Island, but still be able to long press it and show the Shortcuts that way it doesn’t interfere with some of the user interface like the signal bar or Wi-Fi status. I also think it showing the pill in the screenshots adds clutter and it would be best if it was hidden. My idea in order to combat this would be to Press the dynamic island and add some sort of gesture. That way you can screenshot from the dynamic island so that way when you screenshot it it can sync up with a time that you take the screenshot that way you can hide the pill.. Or simply take a screen shot as usual and it can hide for set amount of time (in seconds) then appear again. Thanks for reading!

I originally got LockLauncher because the lock-screen widgets looked amazing, and would be very usefull, but i was not expecting this!

Very easy to navigate LockLauncher and add apps to your lock-screen. The customization in LockLauncher is also crazy good!Theres so many icons!

One category of icons i would like to see added is a tech category. Would make more sense to have batteries and some other stuff rather than manually adding it, making it not fit in with the other icons. Another thing thing i would love to see added is adding a fake dynamic island around the camera widget for iPhones 10-12 (camera widget same size) and for the 13. It would even be cooler if you could actually click on the notifications, or could customize the size!

(That would cause a-lot of people to download cause they wouldn’t have to root dynamic island!)

Overall, amazing app! Great selection of icons, easy to navigate ui, but there are some tiny things that could be added to make it even better!

I’d like to start off first by saying LockLauncher is pretty great. The customization it brings to iPhones is phenomenal. There are however a couple of kinks that need to be worked out sooner or later, but I have no doubt they will as LockLauncher gets updated pretty consistently. One gripe I have is that when the live activities feature is turned on, it slightly makes the dynamic island wider. They have customization options for the left and right side of the island, but even with both set to “none” it still makes it larger, even if just by a little bit. Secondly, the need to reopen LockLauncher and turn it back on every 12H is kind of tedious. I can see myself forgetting about it eventually and not returning to LockLauncher to re-enable it. This should get fixed asap, because it shouldn’t be too hard to run a refresh in the background without needing to open LockLauncher .

Even with these gripes LockLauncher is an easy 4/4.5 stars, just fix the small issues as soon as y’all figure out how!

I’ve been using their desktop app for alittle over a year and LOVE it. When I saw that they came out with an iOS app I decided to try it out. Can’t say I’m disappointed at all.

I did notice a misspelling or a word or two but that’s expected with a new app. And maybe this is wishful thinking but it would be nice to launch directly into LockLauncher without the small second lag but it’s no biggie. I’m thoroughly enjoying LockLauncher and can’t wait to see where it takes us in terms of iOS personalization.

I love the functionality of LockLauncher and what it does. However there are some real shortcomings. First, it is not able to stay running all the time but I know that is a restriction of iOS that is preventing a perfect implementation. I hope there is a workaround that is available since it does hurt the user experience and creates some resistance in using it. Second, the interface is very complicated, cluttered, and difficult and hard to use. Is just not very intuitive so it is also hard to use.

There is a lot of promise here and to see these things addressed. Once those improve I’m sure I’ll give it more stars because I love what it can do, it’s just not very easy right now!

Definitely worth buying pro in LockLauncher for all the features that it offers. It’s a one time purchase and I only paid 199 because it was on discount. I also love how LockLauncher is set up. It works a little bit like short cuts but it’s much more fluent and easier to use. You can also create shortcuts in LockLauncher with Siri. 10/10 would recommend LockLauncher to anyone.

I usually dont write reviews but I’m doing it this time hoping the developers will bring some improvements love LockLauncher and it’s easy to understand and have great features the only thing bothering me is the fact that it has to open LockLauncher before launching the application you intended to open. So if that transition could be avoided this will be by far the best app ever made for customization.

Really great features and ease of use, would definitely recommend! I love that you can set custom images and corner radius. I just wish you could have the option to use live activities without the island launcher , and maybe the option to disable live activities when music is playing so it doesn’t cover the album artwork. Other than that LockLauncher is perfect!

They allow you to do lots of things that I haven't found any app do and the fact they offer things for free is amazing their one time paid transaction is 100% worth it. They allow you to have freedom on everything. I would recommend this to any person using ios 16 and up.

After reading all of the reviews I was very excited to download this application. I downloaded and bought LockLauncher , installed it and started to figure out how to use it. I was able to add apps to the Lock Screen launcher, it appeared once on my Lock Screen and has since disappeared. There’s not much help in the support documentation, and I can’t determine if it’s user or application error. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. I really like the idea of a Lock Screen launch pad versus widgets. Thank you

I bought LockLauncher for one reason and that is to have the network speed in the island , which works phenomenally but i can't remove LockLauncher from background. If i clear LockLauncher from background it stops updating, which is pretty annoying. There's no background refresh available in LockLauncher settings either. Hopefully developer will find a way to fix this.

LockLauncher works great and you’d be surprised at how many things aren’t pro features. Even the CPU usage is free. But the ProMotion rate doesn’t acknowledge when it goes to 10hz when sitting still. It only shows 60hz 80hz and 120hz. There is an option according to LockLauncher screenshots to show the refresh rate on the Home Screen. I cannot figure out how to do that. I’d assume it would be very easy considering it is shown in the second screenshot of LockLauncher

LockLauncher is Amazing It's has so many fun features and with every update they add new features I highly recommend LockLauncher to anyone who has a Iphone 14 pro. it really makes great use of the notch for all kinds of stuff like being able to see cpu usage,screen refresh rate both normal and pro and battery percentange 😺

This is an awesome app & utilizes Dynamic Island so well!!
I was one of the first users of LockLauncher & immediately became a PRO one time purchaser.
Soon after did not care much for it bc it kept disconnecting & I disliked having to open LockLauncher just for it to refresh.
Then they released an update, one that would allow it to stay on your phone much longer.
But even THAT would fail.
NOW , they have released a way for this to work on SHORTCUTS AUTOMATION meaning it won’t ever disconnect from your phone!!!
JUST WOW!

The customization you get with the base app is great and I was able to get lifetime “pro” for $1. Well worth it. Customize your lock screen, Home Screen, Dynamic Island, pages, etc. Endless options and the developers share plenty about LockLauncher and what’s to come. I wish all apps were like this 💯

Highly recommend this. It may not seem like a lot to have access to your most used apps/system functions from the Lock Screen, but it’s super convenient. I’d hate to have to go back to before I got LockLauncher, no joke. It works great and I think anyone who downloads LockLauncher will be satisfied.

I use the Lock Screen “Dynamic Island” icons on my iPhone 13 quite often, Pro version unlocked, and though LockLauncher Store says it works on iPad, I can’t seem to get icons on the iPad Lock Screen .. is there a setting I’m missing or is it simply an iPad limitation? Thanks so much!

I have a 14 Pro Max and was looking for something to use for the dynamic island and Lock Screen. LockLauncher allows me to have a limited use of both. I highly recommend if you want the capability of launching apps directly from your Lock Screen and monitor information from the island.

Great features and no ads. Surprised so many features on here are free. This is what makes LockLauncher great. Unfortunately, you’ll have to open LockLauncher every day to keep it running, but I know that’s just a silly iOS feature. Hoping that’ll be worked around at some point. First of all, I think this is a very great app. But there’s one thing I would like to see, compatibility with Shortcuts so that you can turn the Live Activities on using a shortcut. This way after the 12 hours, you can have an automation in Shortcuts to turn it on every 12 or so hours

Its great an app made this possible as it was needed so much. I just wanted to add 4 shortcuts. But the dynamic island always counting down. Which is rather intrusive. Im not sure if it just refreshing the feed for the apps, but there should be an option to shut that off. I would purchase the pro version if that was an option. I just wanted additional shortcuts.
So when the dynamic island isnt always counting down, let me know then I will re download it.

Being able to spot the logo of LockLauncher you need is the best way to jump into action. Avoid the distraction of nested folders and lacking deep links.
I hope we get “clickable” links in the future for the widget now that iOS 17 is out. Please respond when this feature is coming out.

I like LockLauncher over all. It’s not the most user friendly but once you learn the landscape, it’s pretty easy.
I would love to see your team add island animals like a lot of the other apps out there. It would combine the practical feature of LockLauncher and cute element. A course, it doesn’t have to be fleshed out
Like feeding them or playing, etc but just to have them bouncing on the island would be a nice touch.

This is such a great app, I just got the iPhone 15, and it has really helped me get widgets for my dynamic island, and they are great!! And when your phone is on its Home Screen it has a little widget stack that matches your background, and it shows the apps you have pinned. I have been having my friends who have dynamic island how I got widgets their and I tell them about LockLauncher and how amazing it is.

One default that I have to point out beside all the pros is that it only has certain app categories already chosen, and your not able to pin certain apps you have. I wish I could pin weather, and certain games, but because they are not in the category’s you can’t pin them. I hope that they have an update and get this fixed because then, I can’t think of anything bad.

LockLauncher has greatly helped my adapt my phone, and keep it fresh, while still being fun. I deeply recommend LockLauncher for anyone who has a dynamic island.

If the application is not allowed to run in the background, the data displayed in the Dynamic Island, such as %CPU, download/upload speed, frame rate, etc., will not update. The information will remain static, reflecting the state at the moment LockLauncher was closed rather than providing real-time updates. So what exactly is the purpose of having live activities if LockLauncher cannot continuously refresh and present updated information?

LockLauncher is definitely worth getting. You need to be somewhat tech savvy to navigate LockLauncher to use it to its full potential, but once you’ve mastered it, it’s a lot of fun. The only thing that I find disappointing is their price point. Once you’ve set all your shortcuts for your Home Screen, odds are you won’t be changing it anytime soon. Here’s where the price point disappoints, it’s $2.99/week. Keep in mind, that once you set it up how you’d like, (set it and forget it) you certainly won’t be changing it weekly. The price should be a one hit at $9.99 outright, or at the least, $3.99/month. Hopefully enough people will agree and it will be reflected in other reviews.

First of all, I would love it if I wouldn't have to restart LockLauncher every time I powered on my phone, but even then if reopen LockLauncher sometimes it wouldn't work and I would have to quit LockLauncher to fix it.
I would also like to be taken DIRECTLY to a certain app instead of first opening Lock Launcher and then taking me there. This is an issue when going to apps from the lock screen or from the dynamic island pop up, lock launcher will always stay in the background no matter what.
