This is the official app from Space City Weather, the hyperlocal Houston weather site from Eric Berger and Matt Lanza. The SCW app brings to your mobile device everything from the site, and more, including: - Daily weather forecasts, weather topic discussions and detailed coverage of major weather events - Current conditions put the stats Houstonians care about most front and center. - Hourly and 7-day forecasts - National Weather Service (NWS) radar, weather discussions and alerts - Conditions and forecasts for 5 locations in the Greater Houston area: Houston, Hobby Airport, Conroe, Galveston, Katy - Notifications of new blog posts and urgent weather news - Clean, simple design for easy browsing and quick loading - Our usual nerdy humor What the SCW app does NOT have: Ads and tracking. We respect your privacy.

I’ve been relying on Space City Weather (the website) as long as I’ve lived in Houston. Now they have an app and it works perfectly. I can get local conditions right on my home screen. The prominence of the current relative humidity in the app really demonstrates the ways this app is able to differentiate itself from your usual weather apps. Perfect complement to RadarScope.

I’ve been following Space City Weather since Hurricane Harvey and let me tell you, they are nothing but professional & honest! They’re not all about hyping people up & causing mass panic. They focus on the facts, prepare you for what’s really happening, and tell it like it is. I’m so glad they made an app that I can rely on for weather updates 😊 thank you Space City Weather!

Eric and Matt have been killing it for years on their daily blog...can’t tell you how valuable they’ve been for the Houston community during all these crazy weather events and this app is an awesome way to consolidate even more information. Very happy for this app to finally hit the App Store for all us Space City and surrounding area folks! Great work guys!!!
