I can’t get the Widget onto my Home Screen. I have the icon but that doesn’t do me much good to have a widget if I have to go into the app

Why 5 star rating?
I find it suspicious that this is the top result for the weather widget app and it has a 5 star rating throughout when this is a completely ordinary weather app and you have to pay 20 dollars to actually truly customize much. I of course expected to pay, maybe a one time fee of 7+ bucks. But not a yearly fee of 20 dollars I’m bound to forget about. This app isn’t worth the amount of money they request and if you’re not in it for the customization, apple comes built in with a perfectly fine weather widget.
