ToonApp AI Cartoon Photo Edit Reviews

I expected to pay and immediately be disappointed by some mediocre work but it does actually work well at turning you into a cartoon character. It produces thick outlines and makes you look like you are from archer.
It would be nice to see this application able to cartoonize any background objects as well because currently it just finds and crops your face then removes the background.

Paid for a subscription and used it for a few hours with no problems, worked great actually, loved how fast it was and the results were great. Used it for 2-3 hours. Tried to use it again a few hours later and it won’t work, won’t recognize any faces at all, including multiple it had prior. Tried stock photos, nothing. It must be a glitch or a bug in ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit software. But it is totally unusable which will make me cancel my subscription. Shame, I really did want to write a good review. I hope they fix it so one day I can.

It’sDecent but, even pictures specially like a off guard picture should be ok but they want just your face and it’s cool but, I had my favorite picture of me and my girl and it wouldn’t let me do it, and I just took the picture! That’s the only thing about ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit that needs fixing everything else is Gucci! 🔥🔥

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit was OK, when they were re-drawing my face it made me look older and I just didn’t like that so I tried it again with a different photo I did the same thing to the other photo but that point I was like I don’t think this is gonna be a good app it looks good on some of the filter or backgrounds you can use like for hunger games and stuff but ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit was OK it works and some photos don’t process if they’re too zoomed in.

It's a decent app to fool around with, providing you can get it to recognize your face, or any face in a photo.
Several attempts using clear face photos & it didn't "detect" a face. Even when using the camera for a live selfie, it didn't work.
I finally got it to somehow recognize mine & a few other faces.

I know, it's free & "You get what you pay for", but, even free stuff should work right.

I used ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit to make a profile photo for my social media accounts and I love it so much I subscribed for the extra effects because they look so awesome! I love the quality of ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit. It looks exactly like it was hand-drawn and my selfies become a cartoon drawing in an instant. A+++ ♥️

I’m an African American. I saw my White fries try this and it was cool, so I gave it a try and the results were not the same for my white friend. It depicted my hair, color, eyes, nose as a white person even though I wasn’t white. This shows how ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is made only for people of a certain kind. You people need to work on your app and change that if you truly believe all people are equal and should be treated equally. Canceling the subscription and deleting ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit after review is posted

Ok so overall ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is great except for one big problem.. it keeps turning me white!! I’m black with a medium brown skin and whenever I put my pictures in it, ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit turns me completely white looking. ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit should at least recognize skin tones and keep my brown complexion and stop turning me into a completely different race. Pretty disappointed.

I mean ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is pretty good but…it could use some fixing. The reason why is because when I took a photo of myself for it to be animated it was not that good like it got my features all wrong and it did not look like a flattering photo. But, overall it was a pretty good app!

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit only recognizes faces if I try to use pic of a car it won’t recognize it…I want to make my son a shirt with his favorite car on it but as a cartoon and haven’t been able to find an app that recognizes a thing other than faces :(

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is fun, but it makes everyone Caucasian. I tired several times with photos of my bfriend— who is Indian, and brown— and he looks white in every single one. Didn’t matter if it was a photo of us together (where you can see an obvious difference in skin color) or him alone (he’s still brown), the toon is always a white version of him. It’s not just lame, it’s a little creepy. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is so fun and original. I liked the way ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit works and that you can change the backgrounds. It was so easy to use, Just upload a picture and it will analyze your face then go ahead and have fun

Great and easy app to cartoonize yourself. I always wanted a social media profile cartoon profile. Highly suggest using clear face images- the cartoon image comes out better!

I like ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit , but would like for other items to be able to be changed; not just faces. I also didn’t like that my pictures where being cropped too much. There where cute full body pictures I wanted to use, it they would get cropped to only focus on the face.

This is really easy to use. The cartoon images are created really quickly. I can tell it’s us but they look really good. Very impressed with the ease of ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit .

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is pretty good. It has lots of potential and can go far. The only problem I had with said app was that on some photos it couldn’t animate all of the full face photo. Some of it would cut out. But overall it’s a great app

I love ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit but there is one thing missing, just like how you can erase additional details, please make a tool to also restore details when the AI doesn’t pick it up.

At first I thought it was those type of apps were you have to buy something like vip to even use, but nope it’s free. Love ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit can’t wait for even more features

It’s some pictures that I want to turn into Toon but because of the pose in the picture it won’t recognize have I think you all should remove that “Face only” requirement you will for sure get way more subscribers like me!

This is a cool app to to turn your pictures to cartoons. At first, I thought I had to pay before accessing ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit but then I discovered I could use it even if I didn’t pay. It’s a cool app. I love it.

It’s alright but it just wants it to be a someone’s face I wanted to do some that didn’t have anyone in it but it wouldn’t let me

The cartoons are pretty cool and look like me but there's way too many ads. Almost every time you push a button you have to watch an ad. half as many and ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit would be so much better. Good art tho

No matter what picture I try, ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit can’t find my face. It either says there is no face in the picture (which there certainly is) or that I need to zoom out more (which isn’t possible).

Congrats to those of you with a recognizable face, I suppose. ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is most definitely not for me.

I bought ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit thinking I could edit my pictures and NOPE it’s the same as before except no ads after every button you click and no watermark. Lol what a joke. I thought it was going to better canceling my subscription and on to find another app.

ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit is the worst app I have used. It makes me look like a Native American/ Hispanic, and makes my picture two decades older. Horrible app. The training dataset has problem. There is simply insufficient East Asian picture in the training dataset. Pls retrain your AI, otherwise ToonAppAICartoonPhotoEdit shows only ARTIFICIAL without Intelligence.

Was super excited to try this! Even subscribed to get watermark removed but it won’t even draw my pictures! I’ve done selfies, pictures that people have taken, etc. and I keep getting an error saying it was unable to draw. Smh. Disappointed.

Tried it but I am sorry this is not worth the price. The pictures it makes are bad I mean really bad and there are other apps that do a much better job at just .99$ so nope do not recommend at all.

Seller promised that subscription could be cancelled within 3 days by going to settings. Well it turns out that is not true. There is no ability to cancel!
