I was exposed earlier last semester and I did as stated and reported my exposure and answered some questions. UCCOVIDCheck gave me a red pass and said someone would be in contact w me about what to do within 24 hours. No one contacted me. I reported it again the next day and still, no contact. I took it upon myself to email my professors and quarantine until my test results came back. 3 stars because the idea of UCCOVIDCheck is good, but what purpose does it serve if no one is actually doing anything about the red pass reports???

Who ever runs and makes up these mediocre requirements to simply get a degree is ridiculous. I am 100% online and will never step foot on UC for class at all. So I do my classes in the comforts of my own home but yet I still have to get tested weekly in order to go to me 100% all online classes. How does this make sense UC? Very small minded organization. It all comes back the politics and them trying to make peoples lives harder because they aren’t vaccinated.

I’m glad I go to a school that takes public health matters seriously.

You think a university that is already prohibiting face to face classes would worry less about a self check that is (extremely) easy to bypass, on an app that certainly will go into the cost of our tuition— and more about the actual education of students who are now failing because of this obvious lack of any common sense among administrators whatsoever.
we engineer better uc, for sure.

People here are writing negative reviews on an app that hasn’t even started its process to work. Your account is attached to your student ID, and it will work. Even if it doesn’t work, it will help prevent COVID-19 on campus :)

I wish that I could have a working app for something that is a requirement for attendance, but once again UC has proven that it can’t stand to do anything important properly and so I’m getting a constant “jailbroken device” error on my clean, non-jailbroken, bone-stock, iOS 15 iPhone 11. Thanks UC!!!!!!!!!!!!

Literally just leaving this review because it has provided me with an infinite source of comedy in reviewing it's own App Store review section.

UCCOVIDCheck crashes immediately on my new iPhone which is a bad thing considering a green light from UCCOVIDCheck is required for any in-person campus interaction. I am not quite sure what I will do when I have my one hybrid class next semester. Hopefully UCIT fixes it.

I wake up every morning and the first thing I think is,”Man, I cannot wait to do my covid check!” It is the highlight of my day. I could not live without it. It is so very useful because I do not have ANY common sense to think this for myself. So cool.

My professor lied to my face and said I wasn’t pretty, and I told his wife he cheated on me (with her).
The result: a fake covid report that’s kept me from coming to class for the last 2 weeks. I’m so sad and I miss him. UC ruined my life and I will seek vengeance in UCCOVIDCheck Store.

I don’t even go on campus but needed to today to show my friend around campus. Got UCCOVIDCheck , answered all of the questions correctly and honest, and I was told to stay home. I’m literally vaccinated, it made no sense. I hate it here.

I open UCCOVIDCheck and it says my device is jailbroken... I haven’t used a jailbroken device since 2014... This is a huge issue and i cannot even attend my mandatory in-person class this semester.

I’ve been vaccinated, why do I still have to use this and show it to walk into a building? They don’t even require masks but they require me to answer questions I could hypothetically easily lie about. Preposterous.

Answered no to every question related to coming in contact or having symptoms and still was told to stay home. I am now missing a lab because UCCOVIDCheck is busted. Sweeeet UC!

Seriously the dumbest thing i’ve seen in a long time. anyone can get cleared if they answer no to all the questions.

Downloaded this for class. Won’t even open on my phone. It just keeps crashing.
By Jordanz456
Doesn’t work on iOS 14.
*UPDATE*
Now on iOS 14 it reports my device is jailbroken when in fact it isn’t, I’m just on iOS 14. UCCOVIDCheck has turned into a nightmare.
By TinySandwich14
Someone actually took the time to not only make UCCOVIDCheck, but require people to use it to come to campus. Ridiculous

Uc has the worst technology applications I’ve ever seen UCCOVIDCheck crashes almost every time I use it.

Lets make an App that keeps kids from coming to campus if they dont have a smartphone/their phone is dead. Smart

I have had problems with UCCOVIDCheck. Twice this week I got a Red Pass. Tested negative for Covid last month and answered the questions correctly. It states I don’t have Covid and haven’t been exposed to other people. UCCOVIDCheck should be updated for all users. So far the substitute I use is Redcap. That shows up as Green.
