I’m really liking how simple it is to clean out duplicates, etc in Cleanup ! The only thing I found a problem with is with the “similar photo” screening. I ended up having to meticulously go through all 900+ suggested deletions and select which ones were/weren’t similar or what they call “best” quality. The AI that sorted all my photos often chose blurry photos to keep rather than the similar but clearer alternatives, and a good few of the “similar” photos didn’t look at all alike. Like… I kid you not, one of the image “matches” was one photo of a bird and another of a cat! It was baffling how sometimes it was very accurate but others… not so much. Either way, it still saved me a ton of time by sorting most of them right & doing all the heavy lifting of deleting for me!

Though Cleanup looks promising but it doesn’t deliver. I have over 400 gigs of media files on my iPhone 12 max pro. It took a while to scan. That’s fine but it doesn’t do in the background. You have to leave Cleanup open. It groups the photos in many small sets of 2 to 30 photos. Most of the times it is less than 5 photos. So many many group of sets. After reviewing each set and hit “move to trash” it takes 5 to 8 seconds to do that. This is completely unacceptable as it take forever to review and delete files. Besides it chose some photo as “Best photo”. It is not best one. I think it is randomly picking one as bedt. Also Cleanup is jerky when you try to scroll the group of sets. Just lost $4.99 for just one week subscription than to their Instagram marketing. Manually this app is much better than using this useless app.

With my job I am constantly taking multiple pics of the same thing and always get overwhelmed with the thought of pics accumulating over time and having to delete them all and not always remembering to do so. Cleanup is so easy to use, quick and efficient. I love how it organizes the type of photos and makes it so easy to delete duplicates or photos you no longer need in seconds. I am so happy I came across Cleanup. It is so helpful!!

Saw an ad on Facebook about organizing your photo library / contact list. I have over 200 contacts due to most of them being doubled & deleting them one by one would not only take an hour or so, but would be a pain. So I thought I’d give this a try! Deleted it after 5 minutes when I realized that Cleanup itself would not do anything other than “organize” my library. Cleanup has a lot of potential & would be perfect when they add such a feature.

I did start the membership trial & still did not have access to anything other than my photo library.

OMG!! I’m ever downloading photos and forgetting which folder I saved them so always having duplicates. And I’m one of this trigger happy parents who takes many photos for memories sake but it’s just duplicates of the same scene. Also a hobbyist photographer so take so many photos just so that I can choose the best one later and when I do then I’m too overwhelmed to go back and select to delete. Cleanup… Cleanup… just saved me days in minutes!!! I love it!!

I literally payed for Pro and nothing happened I really needed to delete a lot of photos and after hours of selecting photos and videos to delete on my phone turned off on accident and didn’t save it to make things better I selected those photos again and once a game to delete it it said go pro and I was like I literally did and so then I had to delete five videos and photos at a time Cleanup is useless OK your money back or do not spend money on Cleanup thank you

Defiantly has made deleting photos a lot easier. Cleanup puts the photos in categories and you select photos from those categories. Cleanup also choose the best photo out of several duplicates that way you can always have the best photo! Cleanup still puts the photos in your deleted folder so you can still double checking but very easy to use especially if you are like me with over 2,000 photos.

So if you are like me a photo fanatic I take way more photos than anyone else in my circle of friends!
I love to get those perfect shots but never get around to weeding them out. After doing this for years you can only imagine how much storage space is filled with duplicates or similar shots.
I have enjoyed going back through my photos. Saving my favorites and clearing out the ones I will never need!!
A few minutes a day I’ve made huge progress. I’m liking my results for sure.

While looking at the number of photos in my photo app it can be quite overwhelming. The. I think about all those unimportant screenshots saved memes and duplicate pictures that all of my cherished pictures are lost in and I can’t even think about digging into it. this app is a fast easy way to clean up your photo app and get rid of the junk. Free up space and let your cherished memories be easier to find

Deleting duplicate photos & those I don’t need anymore. It’s so easy. A full photo comes up so you’re sure of what u have. Then swipe right to keep & left to trash. The system with ask u several question before dumping the trash which allows you retrieve anything u accidentally deleted. Much easier than going through all 8,000+ photos on my phone the traditional way.

Yes Cleanup is definitely great way to clear up all the junk in your phone you don’t need and aren’t aware of having, however just be prepared for $60 a year fee after free trail. I don’t know how often me or anyone would use Cleanup so for, so it’s to each there own. $20/30 a year would be better but the services are good for those who are like photographers and need that space and have a lot of duplicates or similar photos. I would recommend it definitely.

I have thousands of photos and videos plus hundreds of apps. I don’t want to go one by one uninstalling everything. I was hoping Cleanup would give me a very easy way to delete EVERYTHING from my phone.

It deleted like 50 duplicates. That’s it. I hoped it would let me queue up a list of apps I wanted to delete and then it would just do it for me. Doesn’t do that - just deletes duplicate photos.

I guess hard reset is the only option. Very pretty design and easy to use overall - I just unrealistically expected much more

I waited an entire day of barely being able to touch my phone in order for Cleanup to go through all of my photos, etc. If you attempt to use your phone, Cleanup takes a while to pick-up where it left off again. I paid $7 (which I hope can get refunded) but Cleanup is super-glitchy. It selects photos I did not select for deletion and skips the ones I actually did select to delete. Because it’s so unreliable and time-consuming, I ended up restoring everything in my trash bin and am seeking a different app that can be trusted to get the job done. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

This is really easy to use, much easier than trying to do it yourself. The product groups similar photos together, tells you which one it thinks is the best, and then allows you to keep or delete photos as you go along. Doing it in groups of similar photos makes it really fast. It’s really helping me keep my saved photos down to size.

I have way too many pictures on my phone and within minutes Cleanup helped identify all of the duplicates and really similar pictures so I could delete them. It gives you a chance to review each one which I did do some of. But it also just feels really good to clean up without it taking way too long

Cleanup is a waste of money. You have to go through the paywall to use it in any significant way. Every single time I delete “duplicates” Cleanup crashes and never restarts again. I’ve tried every troubleshooting method possible (restart phone, restart app, etc). I literally have to delete Cleanup and download it again in order to open Cleanup to be able to use it. This is absurd. You then have to start the scanning process all over again which takes half a day (and you have to clean Cleanup open!). What a waste of money!

So great for helping me keep my photos organized! I have a tendency to take a million photos at one time then can’t decide which to keep or trash. This helps with that! It also makes cleaning up easier since the thought of just scrolling endlessly through my pics on my own is daunting! Highly recommend Cleanup if you are like me.

I like the idea of this but in practice it doesn’t work out so well for me. In terms of similar photos I almost never agree with what Cleanup has chosen to be the best photo of a series. What Cleanup does not seem to consider is that as a photographer if I’ve taken multiple pictures it’s because I wasn’t satisfied with the first few and I keep going until I get something I like. Therefore more often than not it is the final photo in the series that is the best one whereas Cleanup seems to favor the first one in any series…

I have to double check on pictures cause it sometimes marks as a duplicate two totally different pictures. Other than that I think it really helps getting a visual of two look alike pictures side by side to see which one you want to keep. It also helps if you saved two pictures with out know .

I downloaded 10 different iPhone cleaner apps and this was the last one I tried…it was the ONLY one that didn’t crash. I had 44,000 pics and videos on my phone. All other apps couldn’t process the amount or something. But this one worked and I bought a subscription! Great job developers!

I’m receiving 2 different amounts for this app service. Why?

After spending 15 min going through duplicates served up, I’m then advised I can only delete 5 a day unless I pay. That’s bull@&%#.

Cleanup is a piece of crap, I want my money back.
