About PC Covid Viet Nam
Main features: Personal and venue QR code issuance and management; QR scanner; Medical declaration; Domestic move declaration; Citizens’ reports; Vaccination information; Test information; Covid-19 card; Close contact tracing.
Personal QR code: Each citizen is granted a unique personal QR code that enables the display of information related to COVID-19 prevention and control following national pandemic prevention and control strategy.
Based on the declaration, the authorities can master citizens’ move and health information to serve the prevention and control of the COVID-19 pandemic.
PC-Covid’s functionality will be continuously updated and adjusted under the direction of the National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control, making it most convenient for citizens and pursuant to the nation’s COVID-19 prevention and control strategy in each period.
Vaccination and test card: The app connects to COVID-19 testing and vaccination management systems, thereby displaying information about vaccination and testing for citizens in relevant cases.
Information on people's health, travel and contact is managed in a centralized, unified way and serves no other purposes than the pandemic prevention and control, ensuring information safety.
Tracing: Information about QR code scanning, Medical declaration, Domestic move declaration, Close contact detection, etc.

The experience is quite seemless
The experience is quite seemless, no login required, look like PCCovidVietNam use phone nunber as login. Data synchronization is OK. Some slowness during the first few days and then it becomes very fast

Useless
This is the most useless app I’ve ever downloaded. Firstly, the UI is so stupid with repeated menu along with limited functions. Secondly, the vaccination data sync, the only reason for PCCovidVietNam’s existence, doesn’t work. People have to download this garbage just because the government made them to.

Poor quality app. Serious concern on privacy
A lot of software bugs, misbehave, data incorect ness.
Data send to other app: account registration sent to bluezone app without permission. Otp of PCCovidVietNam (pc COVID) manages by bluezone app.
Requires bluetooth on allways to work. Silently tracking all gps movement with functionality to upload to unknown server

PCCovidVietNam does not show notifications in English. I have app set to English. Thank you!

Information incorrect
I also downloaded PCCovidVietNam “So Suc Khoe Dien Tu”, it already showed my vaccination status “2nd vaccine done” but in this PC-Covid only 1st vaccine. Seems the system still not work well.

The app doesn’t work properly
I received my 1st dose of the vaccine few weeks ago but PCCovidVietNam still shows I haven’t received any, even though the vaccination app already shows all the info about my vaccination

Privacy problem
I don’t know if the government can use PCCovidVietNam as a tool to track my location or sensitive information on my device. I have to download PCCovidVietNam because airports only accept PCCovidVietNam.

I logged in and I already had second vaccinated. But now, I log in and it has nothing in PCCovidVietNam
No information, no vaccinated prove ?? And i can't even log out. So I have to delete it and download it again

Cannot receive verification email
PCCovidVietNam doesn’t accept foreign phone numbers and if I use email I don’t receive the verification email. Unable to register.

PCCovidVietNam says that the language is English, but when I open it after loading, it is in Vietnamese. Since I do not speak much Vietnamese, this won’t work for me.

Really bad quality, I have to wait so long to get the OTP and then could not used as exprired. How could the Vietnamese Government accetp a poor quality application like this for a big mission???

Phone Number Required
Invasive. There is no reason for a government released COVID tracker app to require phone number verification.
Do not use until they add an email verification option.
