I used the recently acquired company Gotcha and my account was charged the monthly fee DAILY for almost 2 weeks. I cancelled my subscription on the same day because the bikes did not work properly. I reached out to this app in an attempt to stop the charges early on and I was assured that the defective bike was removed and the charges would stop. THAT DID NOT HAPPEN. They kept charging my account. I called back and spoke with this app about the charges and I was told that they could not see the daily charges my bank and I clearly saw from Feb thru early March. Then I was told that my monthly subscription has not been paid. Wait what? Finally my bank cancelled the credit card and I had to have another one issued. To end this now and make it short, I AM still waiting on a Supervisor to call. She emailed, but did not respond to my response. They refunded 1 of the charges to a card I used 2 years ago. I am still fighting with them (now pulling in a lawyer) to resolve this dispute.

What they fail to make clear is if your account goes below 2$ they will automatically charge you 20$ in credits even if you not riding anymore. Which is stupid on so many levels because you cant get that back. We tired talking to the support and basically was told they will give us 16$ worth of credits. Which is pointless because i was done riding. Half the time the scooters weren’t even working and when it was brought up it was basically said it was our fault and we were in restricted areas when we were in the street where cars go and yet they still weren’t working. I switched over to a spin scooter and it was so much better and zero issues.

Three of my friends and I found their scooters on a street and they seemed fun to ride, so we decided to give a shot.
As you know, you have to download BOLT and pay some credit in advance.
We are so excited, so some of us paid $20 on BOLT .

However, none of our scooters worked at all, so we were pretty disappointed.
I didn’t wanna give another chance to loose my money, so I contacted their customer service, but they didn’t give us any refund, but another credit.

That was our first try, nothing happened at all, and had a bad customer service didn’t give me any good impression of them at all...!

Just don’t put $20 at the first time even if you are so excited to ride their scooters...!

I tried one of these scooters yesterday and out of all these scooter apps the boost scooters are easily the slowest. Scooter is also very large and uncomfortable compared to bird or the others.

I thought I was paying for a single ride, but BOLT automatically charged me $10 just to go a few blocks. I told them this and they refused to refund me and customer service was very poor.

Worst scooter out of all of these new apps, and with a $10 minimum payment 😂🤣 would not recommend

Rented two scooters at the same time from one phone. Worked ok in the beginning, then they started suspending the ride and cutting power to the scooters intermittently. Had to go back to BOLT and mess with it to get power back. In the middle of the street, with cars passing by. This is not exactly safe, and it happened three times in a 5ish min ride. Now I see our short ride cost $20. Something is off.

Dont use this app unless you are going to do it all the time. They charge you up front, not by the ride. So i had to load money onto my account up front. If you dont use what you loaded, it sits in your account. Dont ride these scooters very often so money will just be sitting there forever. Why would you not be able to pay by ride, like every other scooter.

Paid for scooter. Worked for 1 - 2 blocks. Them stopped working. Unfortunately i was in a place where I couldn’t leave the scooter so I ended up having to walk it about 4x further than I was able to ride. I notified the company immediately no refund or acceptable resolution. Dull Cookie cutter operation, in my opinion. Try another company

I'm happy to have scooters in my area. It def gets me from A to B especially when It's late. I just wish they were a little faster! :) and also, I think the axels or turning can be a little tighter...they seem really loose and prone to an accident! Please put more in SE Congress Heights station thanks!

Speed a little slow compared to other scooters but pleasant otherwise

The scooter never worked and it over charged me to the point it’s giving me credit into BOLT but not my actual money back in my bank account

This scooter was a terrible ride. I would like to be refunded in full. The whole ride the kick stand was dragging and he accelerator wasn’t working, also the front and back brake did not work. Unsafe. If I could rate it zero stars I would.

Really enjoyed my ride. For 50 year old female on scooter...that’s something!

This is absolutely the worst scooter that has ever been made. I don’t think the people who created this scooter understand center of gravity. My friend fell off and I almost fell off even though I’m an experienced scooter rider

Horrible, not user friendly at all. Paid for 2 and only unlocked 1, was still charged for both.
