Very Nice
I absolutely love the new app, I’ve been waiting for the Tegna web and app experience, it’s very nice maybe a few more adds than I would like to see would be my only complaint. Much cleaner streamlined user interface. Love the favorites and customizable alerts and weather. Much better than the old app.

Better Layout, Worse Ads
I understand the need for advertising revenue, but the rolling ads that follow you around are super annoying. I guess it’s a little better than the NBC4 app that has an ad every other story, but it’s still too intrusive for my liking. That being said, the layout is much cleaner and simpler. Much easier to navigate.
