Great app even without premium

IntermittentFasting16 is wonderful. I just recently started using it, and I find it to be very helpful. It not only helps with fasting ( i believe 3 different options + one you can create), it also helps with tracking how much water your drinking/gives you reminders to drink water if you’d like, gives tips on fasting, can track your steps, and gives you a lot of information on fasting in simple little slides. I am very impressed with the free version of IntermittentFasting16, and upgrading to premium doesn’t even cost that much. I believe it was around $3.33/month or something like that for premium. Currently I don’t intend to switch, but it is something I could see myself doing as I get more into fasting. I’m happy with how IntermittentFasting16 is set up as well, it’s easy to navigate, is well put together, and is very beginner friendly. I suggest IntermittentFasting16 for beginners and serious fasters alike :)

Completely restructured my eating habits

In my 20’s I successfully used fasting for weight management. However, I am 70 now and just couldn’t get started again. IntermittentFasting16 is excellent for getting one going.

The first fast was difficult but I hung in there. Now it is getting easier. In fact, by learning to suppress the emotional triggers to eat, they seem to be disappearing! I am less interested in food. And yes, I am losing weight.

By the way, I am a retired doctor and I have read only good things about fasting’s effect on body health. We probably evolved with natural periods of fasting in our lives. Food was never available to us 24/7.

This app changed my life

That’s not even an understatement. My relationship with food has been terrible, which wasn’t made better by my home environment and developing eating disorder. I recovered from my ED a while ago, but I still dealt with a lot of emotional eating for years. IntermittentFasting16 is what finally reached me and could help me relearn what food means to me. I’ve been using IntermittentFasting16 for around two months now and the little info cards are so helpful and informative. They help me stay grounded and learn how to analyze my body and my mind before I make decisions about food.

*** WARNING DO NOT SYNC

This is a pretty good app, but it has a few MAJOR problems.

1. Ads:
The ads are horrifically intrusive and annoying. I often don’t mind ads and in some cases (done well) I like them. IntermittentFasting16 has way too many though. I would have paid the $3 to get rid of them, if not for the 2nd problem.

2. Sync with Apple Health:
I have been tracking my weight with various app that sync with Apple health for 5+ years now. I have 5 years of synced data with ZERO flaws, until using IntermittentFasting16. IntermittentFasting16 converted my weight to kilograms, except marked it as pounds, and duplicated EVERY weight entry I have for the last 5 years! Hundreds of entries were messed up and that synced with my Fitbit App, My Bluetooth Scale App, and many others.

It was a NIGHTMARE. Even when I disabled sync, I had to manually go fix everything. It took hours!

Example:
When I weighed 180 pounds, that = 81 kilograms. But IntermittentFasting16 made a duplicate entry for 81 pounds, not kilograms!

And it did that for every entry dating back 5 years!

So on any of my charts of weight, they went from making perfect sense to showing I cut my weight in half and then doubled it EVERY SINGLE DAY.

But IntermittentFasting16 is great! I’ve been dabbling in fasting for a while and found IntermittentFasting16 really helps to keep me motivated. I only have the free version, but you can keep track of your water intake, choose a fasting plan or do custom where you time yourself. My favorite part of IntermittentFasting16 is that it shows you based on your time fasting what your body is doing, and does so on a timeline basis. So you can see what it’s been through, where you are now, and if you keep fasting longer then THIS is what’s going to happen. Super motivating, give it a shot!

Best Fasting app ever!

I’ve recently began IF (intermittent fasting) from the guidance of my health coach and I immediately knew I wanted an app to help support with this process. IntermittentFasting16 tells you what’s going on within your body along the way that no app that I’ve seen does. This is extremely important to me as it reminds me of my why for doing IF in the first place. All of the helpful articles along with the set up of IntermittentFasting16 platform is amazing. Customer support is also great.

I highly recommend IntermittentFasting16 if you’re new or a pro at fasting!

Extremely Helpful App

I love IntermittentFasting16. The information is easy to setup, easy to see, and easy to follow. Wing able to visually see a countdown and and read all the information available about each fasting stage is so helpful. I loved it so much on the first day I bought the yearly subscription. It’s worth it.

For dev, please add some things to Apple Watch. Like a start/stop fasting and a countdown complication. It would be so much more helpful to just take a glance at my watch to see how much time is left to the fast.

Great app but missing one feature

Generally I love IntermittentFasting16. I have been using it since February with no complaints. One issue I am currently running into is I am unable to commit to the fasting currently due to personal and medical reasons. I want to be able to pause IntermittentFasting16 to take a little “vacation” from it but can’t. I either have to leave it on fasting or feeding and I just don’t think that’s right. When I use it I feel great, motivated and am able to stick with it. The reminders are great to ensure that I don’t miss a start or end time. If it wasn’t for that one missing feature I would give it 5 stars

Best fasting app ever!!!

I love the updated friendly format displayed and it’s super easy to keep track of your time when your fasting. Also, I really like how it educates you on exactly what phase your body is going through during the fasting process. It helps keep me accountable in a 3 month period I’m down -24lbs.
I feel better than I ever have and I’m mentally stronger. The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that I don’t need to eat as much as I thought did. Im no longer addicted to food. And I don’t have a taste for soda anymore.

Helpful on fasting journey

So far I’ve been keeping my fasting in my head. Thought I would try IntermittentFasting16 to not only keep up with my fasting but my water intake as well.
So far I can see IntermittentFasting16 is going to be a help.
Having something to keep track of my progress will help me to keep going. I like the graphics and it tracks my weight because I set weight loss as my goal. It’s given me a time lane to reach my goal weight. I believe it’s going to keep me encouraged as I watch my goals and numbers move.

Face and belly gains are the best!

I’d been doing IF for a couple of weeks before I found IntermittentFasting16, and it’s really made it easier and more enjoyable to stay on-plan. The basic mechanics (pick a plan, set timers) make it easy to manage fasting goals, the articles and other info are well-prepared and relevant, and the data tracker, history & awards etc really do help me stay motivated - I’m working on my 24-hour badge right now.

This a great IF app with great tools and content, it’s easy to use and works very well.

Great app..have a suggestion

I love IntermittentFasting16! I have a suggestion for the weight tracker. I love the ability to see the individual weight losses (I weigh everyday) but I would also like to see a total amount lost as well. I can see my starting weight and current weight, but not the TOTAL weight lost. Is this something that can be added? Or maybe I just can’t find that feature. Thanks :)

Easy to follow

My husband and I have been fasting for a month. Health reasons. We have tried many other diets nothing really worked, or would only work the first two weeks. This way of being more healthy has been easy and the weight is coming off. We have read about fasting in the Bible. In one month my husband lost 21 pounds, I am down27 pounds.

New to this….

So I looked at different apps before choosing one to use for IF and to me this was the one that showed me the best information. I like the reminders to drink and I like the flexibility of choosing different plans for fasting. The tips and advice are nice too.
I’m still learning the ins and outs of IntermittentFasting16 but overall I’m very satisfied with it!

Good app

Good app but could use a function where if you accidentally end your fast you can hit resume rather than restarting from 0.
I’m still learning IntermittentFasting16 and accidentally hit wrong button - don’t know what I hit- and then it told me my fast was over and when I went back to try and get it back it made me start from 0. I was only 3 days in but I’m bummed as I was not meaning to restart.

Needs Watch Options

I like IntermittentFasting16 , but the only option to add as a complication on the Apple Watch is for drinking water, which is strange. Why isn’t there a complication available to add to the watch face that allows you to see your fasting clock when you press on it with one tap? Other apps have this. Am I missing something? Happy to change my review if this gets fixed!

Great, but an issue has come up!

IntermittentFasting16 is spectacular and I loved using it, even in the short week of having it. I loved it so much, I bought a premium plan. However, I switched to an iPhone recently and while I signed in with my previous login, the transfer of my premium services did not happen. I would like to have my premium plan back. I sent an email through IntermittentFasting16 in the only way provided, but I have not heard back from the developer’s team. I will gladly increase my rating to 5 stars when my premium services have been restored.

Makes process more interactive

I really enjoy all the tips, and how I can track what’s stage I’m in and how my body is reacting to the fast. Very interesting insight found on IntermittentFasting16 , this is just the free version. It’s also been helping me drink more water.. I’m terrible about that.I can imagine how much more amazing the premium is.

Same issue: lbs converted to kilograms but labeled lbs

Others have reported issue that weight entry in pounds was converted to kilos. Developer indicated issue was corrected but it is still happening to me.

Further, my app is not showing total weight lost. It’s only showing difference between most recent weigh-in and current. I want to see overall weight lost. (It’s presented that was in image above so I don’t understand why it’s not working in IntermittentFasting16 )
