Knewz: Current US News Feed Reviews

As an aggregator, this app has much to learn. First of all, the format won’t expand and on IPad won’t rotate. Makes reading stories difficult and inconvenient. Second, the preponderance of articles are from Left Wing, sources. I’d estimate 90 +%. Many American wish to not support biased, un-American, “reporting.” Increasing “clicks” to these sources increases their revenue. For me I often won’t read CNN, Daily Beast, Politico sources accordingly. Secondly sane story’s appear within sections for days ( seems weeks) at a time. Surely you could update more frequently and drop off low returning stories more quickly. Think UK Daily Mail quick. Let readers tell you what’s worthy of space.

I deleted this when they said they were deactivating Knewz . I came across it again today and checked to see if there were current stories, which there are. I guess it’s back, and thankfully.

This is the best news app. Look at a topic and read about it from several sources if you want. Some people don’t like the design of it, but I love it - simple, clean and straightforward. Plus, it now has dark mode.

PLEASE DON’T CHANGE IT.

I used to get my news from a combination of the Drudge Report, Apple News and Flipboard. Knews has replaced all those sources. I appreciate the simple interface that is easier to read than Drudge. Unlike apple news and Flipboard, Knews excels at linking to articles from the left, the right, and the center, so I can get multiple slants and make up my own mind on the news of the day. Knews is fantastic and I strongly recommended for everyone that wants to get a rounded perspective on current events.

This is a great place to get the news. You get all versions but at least you get it all. You will find articles that the liberal press will not print. You may have to read the news from European publications ( if you want a different source than Fox News) to get all the news that’s happening in the US. Hooray knews!! I highly recommend Knewz!!

Got sick and tired of Drudge’a misleading headlines, sex with robot fetishes and generally want something with more aggregation than what was offered. This is the perfect news aggregator. 1/ loads fast 2/ simple interface 3/ lots of sources and 4/ customizable. Couple this with the Lockdown app and you have a great way to browse the news sources.

It’s a great news app with multiple source articles about relevant topics. The interface is very easy to use. I’d appreciate a dark mode. I don’t mind the ads at the current state, but if they become more intrusive as they usually do, please provide an ad-free option.

this app has now replaced all my other news apps. Rather than paying a subscription for content from one source, this app has all the headlines I actually want to read, vetted and curated, for free. Can’t think of a more cohesive way to get all the news. Recommending highly

I was critical of the this app UI before I actually used it. The mobile experience is great and it feels like you get a balanced perspective.

Some of my major criticisms over clutteredness News Corp appears to have seriously improved. My only request now would be the addition of a dark mode!

Really appreciate the simple easy to use format. Allows me to read several sources on topics that I’m interested in and want a broad view point. I’m confident that News Corp will continue to put the resources into to make it even better. I expect to enjoy using it several times a day.

I’ve been looking for a news app that is not only a good mix of literally everything, but credible and in ‘bite-size’ form.
I love that I can see the major headlines, multiple sources on the same topic and feel like I’m getting the best quality stories. I’m informed but not overwhelmed, and this is amazing.

With a yellow and white color palette I find myself wanting to get off Knewz ASAP. The sources provided are at times laughable. The quantity of different subjects is really low, and Knewz does not block pop ups for the linked sources, making them unreadable. I’ve been looking for an new aggregate since my old one went down, sadly this isn’t the one.

Great aggregator; you get topics organized into groups of separate stories from varying points of view, which gives the opportunity to see more than just one biased side.

It doesn’t identify which sites are subscription only. I end up clicking on story after story, and half of them I can’t read more than two paragraphs. Also too may pop ups.
The reason I want an app like this is to read news while NOT subscribing to a bunch of sites. I’m tired of Apple News, but at least I know what is “premium” content. I’m deleting Knewz

In a crowded world of news apps, this app is truly ground breaking. Clean layout, excellent story selection, and a terrific set of sources, it is the best aggregator I’ve seen. It is crushes FlipBoard, Apple News, and the rest. It is my daily go to app for staying in the know!

Knewz frequently locks up and refreshes way too often while I’m in the middle of reading an article causing me to lose my place. It also freezes up all the time with pop up ads. It feels like 2007 with the poor ad handling.

Wide variety of media outlets means I get a sense for the variety of view points on the issues of the day. Neat!

This channel has been good. I feel that they report the news within the obvious bias like CNN!

80% of the articles it was linking to were blocked unless you had a WSJ etc subscription.

Why are you linking to content I can’t read.

Also the headlines took several days to change out and the news was extremely limited.

Not much to say other than I like the content very much, but too many pop ups. Lots of repeated unwanted video pop ups that I have to shut down numerous times on my iPhone to simply read an article. Too many times. Deleted and now using the web page instead.

Great news app, I gives both sides of an issue, with out giving an opinion. Thanks for letting me draw my own conclusions!

Knewz is nice on iPhone. Notifications are good, timely and not excessive. Knewz totally needs iPad compatibility though.

Love Knewz , however a dark mode would be greatly appreciated for reading at night or in bed

Great new app! Only thing I wish was that next to the article headlines it said how long ago it was published or updated. That’d be awesome!

Straight news, free of bias, from multiple sources, in a clean and simple interface. This is great.

It has been such a chore to get all sides of a story. Thank you for putting it all in one source!!

The Drudge app is fussy. hard to navigate. Weirdly full of unnecessary quirks.

Thus far, Knewz is spectacular.

And it’s got style!!

I hope they review the articles they reference for the truth. I am tired of fake news.
