Kora Money College Student App Reviews

When I first got it I only took out $50 because I only needed it for two days to pay my phone bill. I didn’t really know how to navigate KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp so I was just going to let it auto take it out on the due date. Fast forward to around that time I saw how to pay in advance so I did that. It took out money from the pay in advance and again on the day it was due. I provided them with information showing they took out the money twice and they nicely paid it back. However since I paid off the first time I haven’t been able to use the recharge feature. It was paid off February 19th and the feature is supposed to be reopened after 5 days from then. I’m at this point not after it for money but to help improve my credit as “good” credit has 10+ open or closed accounts and each loan with them is considered an account. Why isn’t this feature working?

I was skeptical at first downloading KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp because of the reviews and how many people weren’t getting approved or KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp crashing. I downloaded anyways to see what KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp was about. I was looking for a cash advance app to somewhat help build my credit. I put in my card information without any problems. I was approved up to $600 and I didn't even have credit. I love KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp and it’s been helpful knowing when my next payments are. I try to make my payments early (2-3 days) so nothing would be considered late. That seems to work!
Advice I would give is to connect a bank that is not to brand new (at least a year older) and has frequent activity (including deposits). The way, you are approved for more.
Only negative thing about KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp is it takes a while to update my spending report, which I really don’t mind because I am aware of how much I spend.
All in all, I like KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp & Hopefully I will be able to recharge once I am done repaying!

So I saw the ad for this on a Tik Tok, and I had to check it out. I’m a 21 year old college student who was struggling for gas money to get to my job, so I didn’t need much money. I downloaded KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp and got approved for 1,400, however I knew I wouldn’t be able to pay off that much in the time allotted options (3 months, 6 months, 12 months). I also was scared about some of the reviews (splotchy customer service) so I didn’t want to end up owing a number way out of my reach if anything went wrong. I opted to only get a loan of $100 as that would give me enough gas money to get me to my next paycheck when I would be able to pay the loan off in full. I just paid the loan off in full a few days ago, and it was honestly a very easy process. Probably won’t use KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp again as I don’t need a loan anymore, however will always keep it in my back pocket if I get into another situation. All in all I had a really good experience start to finish!

If your looking to quickly increase credit score, this is not for you. I took out my loan in may and from then til now ( November) not a singe payment has been reported. I also payed off my loan this month and was told it would take 90 day for that to be reported to credit bureau. The reason for my high rating is that the company has a fast response by email and was very very helpful with the car loan process. Getting the cars was simple once you found a dealer that would work with you. ( I recommend sending the vin number of potential cars to Boro support, they will tell you if it will work for them). The payments were easy to make, and you had a schedule that you could always refer back to.

I can’t express my love for boro in enough words. To give you some background, i’m a financially independent first-gen, college student coming from a family who lived below the poverty line. KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp has all has allowed me to borrow cash in pinch (in itself always a bonus) without hassle. They also have a reasonable pay back date, schedule and payment system. I lost one of my jobs during covid and it set me back financially because I am also paying for my tuition alongside going to school & boro saved me by covering textbooks, fixing my car, getting groceries, etc. All while helping build my credit and gain credit history for my future. The tips are also helpful and relevant to my situations. I also don’t feel embarrassed or a nuisance when i’m need of a small loan or good customer service. Genuinely a big thanks to boro, yall are the reason i’ve made it to my junior year!

I do not recommend this platform for anyone. I haven’t been able to log into KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp for several weeks now. Every single time I try, I keep getting an all white screen. I know for a fact that it is not my login credentials that are the issue, because I’m able to log into the website. But of course the website does not allow you to make a payment or request a loan. The only thing that you can do on the website is manage personal information. I received a text message saying that my account is past due, and the text says to log into KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp and make a payment. Smh. I’ve deleted KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp about 5 or 6 times updated my password and still all I get is that all white screen and it does not go away. Clearly KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp isn’t monitored. Or Boro knows that there’s is something wrong with the and basically doesn’t care. Wish I could cancel my account, and never return. I emailed support, and explained the problem. Literally all they said a was “ Sorry about the issue you are having.”

KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp saved my life! I was so scared at first but they came right on time . Thanks to borrow now I can manage my money perfectly. I can see how much I have spend through out the week and more. Not only that i don’t need to worry about not having enough because once your approved you get the money in about 3-5 business Days . As a college student times are hard . Boro allows me to pick the speed of when I have to start paying back . Not only, they set an alert every-time your payment is due. The only thing I wish could improve is That i have to re-enter my information every time I use KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp . Which can be very annoying. Please fix that boro .

I’ve used Boro many times before to help make improvements to my credit score and KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp itself is alright. I took out a loan last November and there was some confusion on Boro’s end where they didn’t take out the automatic payments for my loan. They ended up not taking any money from my bank account for about 6 months after I made two consecutive, monthly payments which I thought was very weird. I ended up getting many delinquency notices in my email from Boro and my credit score took a big dip. (I’m fairly responsible and always have funds in my account to make monthly payments) Boro didn’t notice that there was something happening on their end and I had to call them to figure out what was happening. Their customer service isn’t great and they had the audacity to charge me 60 dollars in late fees for something that wasn’t my fault.

KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp allowed me to get a small personal loan several times while I was a college student. the small loans helped me so much. it is very easy to pay your bill too. I specifically like how I can pay several months off right now and literally not have to pay again until that next month’s bill is due. with credit cards it doesn’t do that. for credit you just pay monthly but if you pay more than the minimum, it won’t go towards the next months payment unless you pay it after the statement ended and the new statement starts.. with BoroCash I can pay 3 months right now and not have to pay anything else for three months.

See a lot of people saying they didnt get approved. You may not be in one if the states they loan to?

Idk. Im a college student who has no credit score. Wasnt gonna make rent this month because my job fired me for leaving town for christmas (despite asking off months in advance..... whatever). Boro approved me for $700 first day and without it i would have been absolutely screwed. I plan on paying it back in larger increments and a lot sooner, but i chose the 12 month pay back option just in case. KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp literally saved me from being evicted and tbh the interest rates arent worse than, say, sallie mae loans, lol.

ANOTHER UPDATE:
They will literally NEVER answer the phone. When it goes to voicemail their inbox is full. They don’t respond to applications in 1 business day like their website says they do. And also don’t respond to email until days sometimes weeks later. STAY AWAY.

UPDATE: there is no way to view account information like payments made & payments due. You need to email them to get these documents & they don’t respond within 24 hours. It will take days for them to get back to you. Literally the worst customer service I experience I have ever encountered.

They will not help you if you lose your job due to COVID-19. I lost my job because of COVID-19. In California the unemployment department is having an enormous delay in sending out payments to the unemployed. It’s literally in the news (major news organizations) so I’m not just making this up. I emailed them & asked if they could help me during these hard times. I received no reply. Instead I was sent an automatically generated email stating that my delinquent payment has been sent to the credit bureaus. They did the complete opposite of helping me in the middle of the worst pandemic & unemployment rates the country has seen in about 100 years. STAY AWAY!!!!

Update: they FINALLY fixed the Capital One connection. Taking 5+ days to process a payment is INSANE! It literally comes from my bank account the very next day but still takes over a week to “process” and unlock recharge. I had ONE failed payment my whole entire loan, a bank error, and rectified IMMEDIATELY with a complete loan payoff. Now I’m told recharged has been disabled from the ONE failed payment of SEVENTEEN dollars, that was fixed the same exact day I got the notification.

These issues with capital one are so annoying. Customer service is no help at all. Kora claims it’s Plaid, I contacted Plaid myself and they said ABSOLUTELY NOT. Kora says oh we’ll look into it. So annoying not being able to connect my new account appropriately!!!!!! But they have no problems pulling payments from the account.

I love everything about KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp because of the fact it allowed me to pay off bills that I didn’t have money for at the time. However, I do not like recharge!!! It only recharges “based on your credit” every week. I just paid off $400 March 8 and I still don’t qualify for recharge especially during this pandemic where they are kicking college students out and laying them off with jobs due to this virus! I don’t understand how you aren’t qualified after paying a loan off!! I know for a fact my credit isn’t bad and the worse part is.. the people who work there can’t even help you because of this new recharge system!!!! This is unfair especially when students are struggling right now!

So I took out 400$ and my bank account and routing number was right but for some reason it kept declining and saying my bank account couldn’t be located I called my bank and they said Boro has not even attempted to charge . I called and gave the account and routing number. They said it’s okay then I tried to pay again. They claimed they couldn’t find my account 3 times but somehow it went through the 4th time with the same account and routing number. So I had to pay an additional 75$ because of the account being not located. I took out 50$ again and same problem they aren’t “finding my bank account”. Honestly the customer service just states what KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp says they don’t help you or even try to figure out why it’s doing that. I regret ever taking a loan from them .

So at first I read all the reviews and I was like well this isn’t gonna work. (Yes I’m a real person) I live in Michigan so I was like nah this ain’t gonna work. But to my actual surprise it worked. The only friggn app out there that actually worked for me. I got $200 with my first time trying to use this. Sure the payment is a little high but as I literally just turned 18 like a month ago it’s better than any banks interest rate. I would seriously recommend KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp. I’m gonna use it a lot. And I’m gonna tell all my friends about it. Good luck peeps

I absolutely love love love KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp. It has helped me pay rent when i was short or thought i was going to be late. I work at a hospital full time and i am in nursing school full time and get laid biweekly. I definitely live paycheck to paycheck and it can be very hard to make ends meet. KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp helps me with rent, groceries, ect. And you can make payments anytime and boost your loan after. I like KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp better than any credit card or lender i have ever had!!! Definitely recommend. And I’ll be telling all my friends and family about it!!! ♥️

I have been using kora for about 5 months now. I am really happy with the service received as well as the options with KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp . Would definitely recommend. It’s really simple and there are no hidden fees.

The only reason I didn’t give a 5 star review is because the kora virtual card will not connect to apple wallet. So I can’t use the card as needed. I have to get the koracash, then transfer to my external account. Which is a 2 business day process.

Before downloading I read through quite a few reviews saying KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp is bogus & they got denied immediately...I should have listened to them. The same thing happened to me, denial with no explanation, I feel like they should at least tell you WHY you didn’t get approved, or maybe even suggest areas where you should try to improve before you come back. I guess the upsides are that the sign-up is quick and easy, and I think the little information section of KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp is pretty cool...these are only things that saved Boro from a 1-star review. Seriously though, unless you’re living off Mommy & Daddy’s money you probably won’t get approved by these people.

I’m a college student and I’ve had Kora for a few months now (since February) I borrowed $50 once and then $25. Both times were paid off on time, and my monthly charges go through successfully. I have not been able to take out any cash because it has been saying my recharge is locked for over 3 months now. I’m frustrated and disappointed because I don’t understand why it’s been frozen for so long. My credit isn’t the best but my payments are on time. I thought KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp was supposed to help people in their times in need but at this point I’m not happy with it.

KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp is truly worth the download! As a starting out-student, it is hard to get funding and even a student credit card, even. KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp changes that. For just putting in your e-mail, you can easily get $50 into your bank account (paying it on time will increase your credit score!). It’s like micro-loaning in a sense! I do have a few suggestions about KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp, but I will e-mail them soon!!

As a college student it is hard to balance everything between bills and tuition. Boro really helps and gives you the cash within 2 days ( I got mine the next morning!) I never thought something I saw on Instagram would be a life saver but this is it!

I downloaded KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp twice and each time it would not load. It was stuck or either a pure white page or the Boro home screen. Never even got a chance to log in. Please fix this issue. I would like to do the Borocash and I can’t unless I have KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp apparently. I have 13.3 iOS so it should be compatible.

Update: I have tried contacted the email provided but I have gotten two brief emails regarding the situation. I still cannot use KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp even after a week of having it. I have been able to “sign in” once but then it went straight to a white screen again.

So. I’m just on KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp Store and I come across KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp, didn’t think anything of it. These things never work for me and I wasn’t gonna be surprised if I got denied again 🤷🏽‍♀️ but I put in my information and was approved before I even knew how to finish using KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp . It was only for $50 and $100 but it was super easy. Don’t know if I’ll cash out but still very shocked and surprised.

So when I signed up for KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp , it never asked me for any information that I would use to put in to check my credit history (ie. social security number), yet not even two seconds it came back saying my credit history was bad, but couldn’t provide me with my credit score or the exact reason for denying my “application.” It takes longer to get an answer for a legitimate loan from the bank then KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp.. Judging by some of the reviews and my personal experience, this is nothing but a scam...

At first it was great. I got my money and everything. I missed a payment and when I tried to pay it I was unable to! KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp gave me another due date and it was impossible to get ahold of someone. They gave me a number that went to voicemail constantly and said I would be charged more late fees and Interest (which was a complete Lie and not in the contracts they provide) which I did a chat, the agent was so rude and wasn’t helpful at all! They said they would report me to credit agencies. HOW IF THIS IS AN APP TO BUILD CREDIT AND NOT HURT IT!

DO NOT USE KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp.

I was trying to see the hype about KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp, but unfortunately I was denied. All I did was provide my school email address, my name, and home address without taking any consideration about my finances. They are going to use that excuse that they have an automated system that checks credit and income to debt ration (which doesn’t make sense because you don’t provide that information). Overall I didn’t need a loan i just wanted to check this out.

App doesn’t let me sign up even though I have an .edu email and I’m in California.

Update: Was able to finally get in and was approved for Boro cash within seconds. KoraMoneyCollegeStudentApp is must have when your in need of money.
