DigiArt: Cartoon For 3D Effect Reviews

Ok, before I start telling you all the things that are wrong with DigiArt, I just wanted to acknowledge the fact that it’s hard to make an app and if you want people to download this, you need to actually read these reviews. So basically I saw an add in one of my favorite games and saw an ad for an app that allows you to make yourself look cartooned. I excited our before I could see the name and I was really sad because I thought it looked so cool! So then a few weeks later I saw an ad for it again and I waited till the end then went to DigiArt Store and downloaded it. Unfortunately I didn’t read the reviews and if I had I would have NOT downloaded. DigiArt gives you the option to do things for free by clicking the X in the corner when it asks you if you want to subscribe, but you can’t really do anything with that option. I tried all of the filters and this isn’t really a cartooning app. The one that was available basically changes your face to the already set picture and just it has your clothes and changes the color. That disappointed me. The hair coloring portion is not what it look like in the ad. It looks so fake. Also, when people are reviewing these I would suggest not sending the same exact response every single time. It shows that you don’t really care. This game false advertises what you are able to do in it. The cartoon filter on the front is not an option in the cartooning portion of DigiArt . I highly recommend you DO NOT DOWNLOAD!🚫❌

It’s already great, but some need to be improved. For example, you can’t recognize your face if you stand farther, and some hairstyles don’t fit your face very well. The effect is strange, and the update speed is too slow. I wanted to try something new but I found that there was nothing to try, which is a pity ‌ ‍  ​ ​

So first off I would like to start off with the things that DigiArt has advertised is just very untrue because if you advertise or tell somebody something you should be able to live up to it like the saying “you say what you mean you mean what you say” and DigiArt obviously 🙄 hasn’t heard or just disrespects this saying because if I have to subscribe or pay to have a game or something g in the game on my device that is basically just so that company can earn money and we are losing our money for false advertising that we believe ohh ok no thank you I think that if you are going to say that we can use these effects for free than we shouldn’t have to subscribe be could just watch a video I gave DigiArt one star and I should have gave it no stars I don’t think this is fair because what if we delete DigiArt do we get our money back probably not because of sone stupid false advertising boo to DigiArt that is all I got to say

To do anything in DigiArt you have to agree to a subscription. It said there is a free 3 day trial and you have to cancel at least a day before the end of the trial to cancel successfully. So really you have two days. Anywho. I thought what the hell. It’s probably going to be a dumpster fire but I’ll try it. Sure enough it was a glorified filters app and the cartoon yourself feature was so bad it was honestly funny.

The irritating part was when I went to cancel the subscription. Turns out instead of agreeing to a free trial I just flat out bought a useless $15 subscription to an app I used for all of 2 pictures before I deleted it. Even verified that I actually was duped into buying a subscription by checking my account purchase history.

Such is life I suppose but that’s the state of DigiArt Store for you. It’s the Wild West and there’s a sucker born every minute.

First off all the ads that show DigiArt off display the cartoon features where you can turn yourself into a cartoon. What they don’t tell you is that if you want to use the cartoon features you have to pay $24 a month or $6 A WEEK. This is disgusting. You don’t even get one for free, all of them are locked unless you buy a subscription. And it you do decide to pay for the subscription the cartoon effects aren’t even worth it. Most of the the time DigiArt doesn’t recognize the face and turns you into a cyclops, or a column of flesh and hair. It’s a huge waste of money, don’t waste your time downloading this piece of crap. And you will probably notice that the developer just copy and pastes the same response onto every low review, not acknowledging complaints or problems. It really shows how much effort he put into this thing.

Okay, like the adds show easy slide and thing to get a cartoon and your like, oh! A cartooned app that makes your picture cartoon and also edits your photos but then you download it and it says, “try cartoon thing now, for FREE!” Then you click on it allow your photos then says you have to subscribe and sign up with all your personal info just to do one photo then leave?! Are you kidding me bruh, if you are gonna make us subscribe and pay either $6.00 a week or $60 a year which both are way overpriced for a simple editing app especially when most people just want one picture of a cartoon of them, you should just tell us in the add or at least tell us before we allow our photos, I’m not joining a subscription to be rushed to do the photos and leave, I immediately uninstalled, not worth any of it!

You must sign up for the trail to access any features. And it is a terrible photo editor. I downloaded it to use the cartoon feature. That feature creates all kinds of weird morphing of the image like cyclops, or three eyed people. Also it keeps turning my very blonde, blue eyed little girl into a brunette with brown eyes. I wish I could show examples because the ones they use in the ads in no way represent what you get. It doesn’t recognize there’s a face most of the time. It made a dark haired light skinned man with a beard into a neck-less column of flesh. I did not look into any other features as DigiArt markets itself as a cartoon filter first and if that was so low quality, the others weren’t worth checking out either. And to charge $24 a month for this terrible technology is almost criminal.

When I first saw the ads I was very excited to get this game it looked very fun vibrant and cool so I decided I was going to get DigiArt I downloaded DigiArt it told me to choose a picture and then as soon as I chose a picture it said you have to pay 5.99 per week to even use DigiArt so then I click on the button that says try this for free I did it and it still says 5.99 per week and in my opinion that is way to much money for a editing app especially because we’re in the middle of a pandemic and people can’t spend money like that over a game I think you should really listen what people are saying so you can have better ratings on your app try to be more open minded I really hope that you fix because I don’t want to see any app get horrible reviews like this.

Ok first of all what the heck? I saw the ad and the cartoony filter looked really cool! I was super excited to download and see what I would look like :D

I downloaded it. The screen that pops up when you download shows a girl next to her cartoon version, and there was a button under it that said “Let’s try it!” (Might not have been the exact words of the button, kinda forget) I clicked it, allowed photo access, AND T SAYS I HAVE TO PAY SEVENTY BUCKS A YEAR?!? No!! What a scam!!

A few weeks later my friend got it and payed the money. The hair color thing doesn’t look at all legit like the ad. The cartoon filter in the ad she can’t even find in DigiArt ! Huge scam. I’m so mad, DigiArt looked so fun and I was stoked. Sure they have other good filters but it’s way to much money and false advertising. Do not recommend.

If you could give a 0 star review, I surely would do that. First off, you can’t do anything on DigiArt without paying first. It’s either 70 dollars per year or 6 dollars per week, which is extremely overpriced either way! Then when I try to turn one of my photos into a cartoon version, my original picture is of me with my light brown/reddish hair and bright blue eyes. When it turns into a cartoon, I have black hair with brown eyes and a crooked nose that looks like I broke it, and I basically look like an Asian. This stupid app is terrible and I am absolutely disgusted. Completely false advertising, and now I don’t know if I can have my refund for falling for this terrible trap of an app. Do not pay for DigiArt or even download it, it’s absolutely horrifying. Disgusting!

For the past SEVERAL WEEKS, i’ve been attempting to get an app that does the cartoon effects. Yet, every single one has to have you pay immediately after downloading! This is yet another one of the apps that has disappointed me and has caused me yet another hour of work. Also, this is a FILTER APP. To own an app that makes your face look cooler in one selfie should be free! Yet, it’s 85 bucks to own it for a year.
Edit: This is my response to the developer. Yes, it is hard work to make an app. Yet, when you advertise just make it easier for the buyers to understand the fact that DigiArt has all the features you say it has. Before making them come get DigiArt, tell them the free features and the ones that are not.

I’m pretty sure DigiArt is just a way to trick non-iPhone/computer savvy people (and CHILDREN) into paying the first $8.95/week (maybe a few times) until they figure out how to cancel it. I downloaded it because my son wanted the cartoon drawing of himself that they heavily advertise, and the effects/filters weren’t even capable of doing what it advertised. I canceled the subscription on the 2nd day of the free trial, and was charged the $9 later that week. There’s a place in DigiArt to send an “in-app message”... and I did telling them (again) to cancel my subscription. No response. Charged again the following week. I requested a refund from apple for the 3rd $9 and was given it no problem/questions asked. Buyer beware!🚫

There are many functions, and there are one or two relatively new and rare functions, such as changing the hair style, which is more fashionable and not popular, which increases the fun of the software. There are really a lot of advertisements inside, and the second installment often pops up to ask for payment, which is very annoying  ​​    

InSnap not only lacks any kind of decent functionality, they also double charge you. We downloaded the free subscription aware that after the trial we would be charged. My daughter used DigiArt once and quickly learned it really did not make you look like a painting or a cartoon the way their samples portray. I deleted DigiArt but forgot to cancel the automatic paid subscription (because apple makes that nearly impossible). I checked my Apple bill when it came back high and saw that l was charged $5.99 six times between June 26th and July 28th. So unless one month costs $36 they are ripping you off. BEWARE!!!!!!!!

One it is so annoying because I downloaded DigiArt because on the add it said you could turn your photos into cartoon but you have to pay for light every single cartoon filter there is. The hair style filter is trash and doesn’t’t look real at all. I definitely do not recommend DigiArt unless you want to spend your money on something that it said was “free”. There are so many more downsides to DigiArt that I just could type out all of them. Again DigiArt is not good.(in my opinion)

I shouldn’t be giving this 1star even. It didn’t even work! The cartoon feature is super expensive and it changes ur hair color. Also the hair color change changes ur whole picture. Another thing is the hairstyle feature adds a totally different of hair onto a random picture. Not to mention the animal feature which just adds a horribly edited out animal head to your picture. I am sorry to myself I spent time downloading this. Also they must put in comments because some how it’s 4 stars. Don’t waste ur time on DigiArt. The creators clearly want to scam you out of your money.

First of all, by far this is the WORST APP YOU COULD EVER BUY!!! DigiArt claims that it’s free, BUT IT LIES! I went into DigiArt just to try something new and I want to delete it! First it charged me $15 for the “free trial” and I didn’t want to pay ANY MONEY TO START WITH! So I decided to try out some different filters and they were the worst thing you could ever see! A chimpanzee could have hand drawn something better than that. IT WAS A JOKE!! I WANT MY MONEY BACK!!!!!! NEVER DOWNLOAD DigiArt! DigiArt is pathetic. I would give DigiArt 0 stars if I could but it makes at least put 1 star. So that’s why you should NEVER DOWNLOAD DigiArt!!!!!

Can you classify hairstyles more carefully, at least divide them into boys and girls, try to add as many hairstyles as possible in the classification of boys, now boys have very few hairstyles and are not very good-looking, and the degree of use as a boy is very low , There is no sense of participation and attraction, I hope you can try your best to be a little bit more for the boys‍‌    

I downloaded DigiArt after watching an ad they created promoting their cartoon feature. From their video, it looked as if your pictures could really be transformed into a cartoon like picture, drawn with marker and colored in. So after downloading it, and uploading a professional quality photo, the cartoon feature just looks like any other sketch filter...ones that you can get on FREE apps. Not smooth and exaggerating every line on my face. Not the same like in the ad. $7.99 a week for an app that does the same thing as others apps do for free is crazy. Wouldn’t recommend.

Ok I got this game and ITS A FREE trail and then you have to PAY 85 DOLLARS AND ITS FOR A Year AND YOU MAY NOT HAVE THAT KIND OF MONEY please don’t get this it’s a waste of time some people are rich and some people are not so DONT PLEASE 😖😖😖😫😭ok NVM MIND THIS THERE IS A WAY TO DO IT FREE!! So I was deleted it but then it said Photo click on it and it got me in DigiArt and I just started Takeing photos but this is a new iPad so it may not work for you if it dose not I’m sorry but if it dose then yay for you

Like literally when you see all of the ratings there are only a couple 5 star rating and the rest are below 2 stars. Im pretty sure they are bots and one of them even says DigiArt is a game, like cmon at least make the reviews look real. But DigiArt makes it seem like its for free but when you download DigiArt and open it the first thing you see is a menu for you to pay for a subscription. I only downloaded because I saw and ad and wanted to see what a cartoon version of me looked like, but obviously this is a scam and IOS need to regulate things like this more.

Like but don’t like that there is filters that cost money

This is the biggest scam. It’s a crap app that I ended up deleting and it’s still charging my card on file. Now I can’t download anything from my apple App Store and I hope the person that created this scamming app stubs every toe on both feet everyday for the rest of their lives. I also hope they develope night terrors and no medication ever helps. I hope he or she is walking in the work place one day and their intestines fall out of their anus and down their britches leg in front of everyone!

It says “unlock for free” And because of this, I thought “oh maybe you just have to watch an add” but no, it requires a monthly subscription just to edit the our photos. I may be a little more okay with this if they would’ve just said it instead of saying it’s free in the beginning. Also, DigiArt has a 4.4 rating but over 3/4 of the reviews I’ve seen are 1 star so I really don’t get this at all

Okay, I’m not too smart but I’m pretty sure that “free” doesn’t mean a $26 dollar monthly subscription. I couldn’t even figure out how to get past the first screen without spending money. Im also pretty sure that saying free for DigiArt, is false advertising which I believe is illegal. My point is, don’t get DigiArt , it isn’t worth your time or money.

Please make it where it does not cost any money

The transformation from photo to cartoon looks NOTHING like the ones promoted and no way to adjust to look like it either. I canceled as soon as o subscribed. It better not charge me. I haven’t even bothered to use it after the initial attempts. Totally disappointing.

Honestly, DigiArt is no different from the other cartoon apps that are available for free. I’m glad that free trials are available to give you time to decide if DigiArt is worth paying for or not. And DigiArt is not! Not impressed.

I love the game so much that I play every single day

In order to use DigiArt you need to start a free trial. 👿 DigiArt cost $8 a week! Money suckers, they app is terrible. None of the edits look good. I’m disappointed, Why not just go and use PicsArt it’s free and it makes my photos look a lot better.

I tried to take a picture it said see your result for free I clicked it and it didn’t work this is the worst app ever but it was just ok but I cannot stand it anymore anyone that has this game please delete it 🙁🙁🙁🙁

I thought this would just be a fun app I can play around with but 8.99 A MONTH FOR THIS! I wouldn’t even pay nine bucks period but every month that’s ridiculous as soon as I saw that it was deleted what a waste!
